After 3 weeks of leaving messages (from 4 different phone numbers), I finally was able to speak to someone today. The lady did not even apologize or say Im sorry that we havent contacted anyone back and actually stated that she didnt recognize my number. Really, recognize which number there were four of them (what does that have to do with anything anyway)?I continue and my comment to her was, we are having problems with our septic in our back yard. Immediately she told me we dont pump septic tanks anyways. Really, three weeks and this was her immediate response.I then told her thats not the problem, the problem is with the septic lines. She quickly responded that I need to call the health dept. So we waited for three weeks and nothing. I also told that now I understand the GOOGLE reviews and I would have just appreciated a call back.I was trying to give business to a local company and the door was slammed directly in my face. If the actual owner would like to call me, my husband or my son, we will be glad to discuss this review directly with them. You definitely have our number! Robin,. Dave or Chandler is the names that were left. Poor business ethics!
I am in shock about the customer service I received from this company. I called and left a message as a new customer. I gave it a few hours and then because of the emergency in my backyard called again to see if I would get lucky and get someone. I did. One word for the lady that answers the phone, snarky. The snarky lady answered the phone and said “yeah he got your message but he’s busy with all of the calls from the weekend. He will call you back.” Now, it’s not what she said it’s how she said it with an attitude. I am a professional and of course I understand that people are busy and especially after a holiday weekend. I never expected a call back right away but after two days of not hearing anything I thought these people really don’t want any business. I thought if this is the way they treat a potentially new customer how are they going to treat me when I actually become one. Needless to say I moved on way before those two days were up and Porter’s took care of me. And for the record I did never hear back from them. It’s a shame because so many good people are looking for work out there. If I were the manager of this place I would fire her on the spot, and I would reach out to people to at least acknowledge their call and let them know that I would be calling them back soon. I read all of the other reviews and apparently I’m not the only one who got a bad impression from the receptionist. It makes me wonder if the owner even ever got my message. This is one vendor I’m taking off my list.
Didnt tear up yard, New what he was doing, took less than 30 min to fix . Reasonable price. No mess left behind
If I could give them a negative star I would because the lady that answers the phone is a nightmare. She has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Doesn’t call you back when you request them to. Doesn’t answer emails. Talks to you like you’re a waste of time. Yes, it is how she treats you. Apparently their business is thriving so well, they don’t need your business... I really can’t believe how they stay in business though, with that woman working for them. She MUST be related to the owner, is my guess. Good luck if you think it will be different for you... May the odds be ever in your favor.
Ditto on the unprofessional lady that answers the phone. I called to ask for sanitizer or hand soap in a port-a-jon I was renting. She replied sarcastically you are welcome to call our supplier, or we can come get it . I replied that I might look for other options. The next working day, the unit was gone and I had contractors on site and no john. She removed it purely from spite. I called Carolina Porta John. A super nice lady answered and handled my request beautifully.
Troy treated us like family. Prompt, honest and through job. Trustworthy companies are becoming rare. Its good to find a company that has principles.We hired another company earlier in the year. They did not solve the problem. Left the tank partially full and tried to sell us some additives.Troy took the time to empty the tank completely and did further digging to find the cause and solved our problem.Very reasonable price for a job well done.
They have the worse Customer Service in the business! Speaking of The lady the operates the phone, she needs to be fired! I don’t know how they stay in business with her attitude! Her attitude and customer service skills has to be illegal in the state in of North Carolina. I hate to even call them knowing that i have to with her. If someone is reading this from the company, please find someone else!
If I could give Leslie who answers the phone MINUS 5 stars, I would. I called a week ago to order 2 port o johns for a wedding. I told her I need them by tomorrow which is Friday. It is now Thursday at 5:30 PM and Ive had no one call for delivery. I called Leslie twice this week to see if she could give me a day or time frame for delivery and she said they do not communicate with her and hung up (that should have been my first clue) I had my husband call yesterday to see if he could find out anything. Her comment to him was I told your wife 15 times they will be there! Three of us have been staying close to the phone all day waiting for a call. NOTHING YET!I suppose you think I have 24 hours a day to sit and wait to see if the delivery folks show up? Ive had to cancel my appointment for this evening just in case they deliver after business hours? You just cant drop a port o john at my front door; someone has to be here for placement. So an hour ago; Im on the phone to another company to see if they can get potties here by tomorrow. Ive been running my own businesses for years. I dont think Ive every dealt with another small business with customer service as poor. It seems as though Troy must do good work on Septic systems; he gets good reviews.

We had our septic tank and pump box pumped out by Rowan Septic this morning. Troy did the most thorough job of anyone we have ever used. He left no sludge behind. Both boxes were very clean. Rowan Septic is tops and we will never use anyone else. In the past we were told that we had to leave a layer of sludge in our tank to promote bacteria. Dont fall for that nonsense by some of the other septic tank companies. That simply means they made a stop or two to pump other septic tanks before pumping yours, and their truck tank wont hold your full amount of waste. Stick with a winner. Choose Rowan Septic. Called last year to have a tank pumped they came within 2 hours and did a good job. This year 2 of us have been calling for over a week and have left messages with no call back from anyone. I wish i could give negative stars but not possible. I hope you people have to start begging for work and go out of business. There are too many other companies in rowan county that do the same thing and are willing to work or atleast return phone calls. You will never get another dime from me.

I call to make an appointment...the lady I talked to said abruptly Ill have them call you back... didnt call..my husband called next morning they would not answer,he left a message and told them to call us back and let us know if the will come...3 days later not call..Do these people know if they keep getting bad reviews the will go out of business..or do they really care..So Rude
I emailed Rowan Septic to schedule an inspection and never received a response. When I called almost a week later, the lady answered the phone, and rudely informed me that they were covered up and not accepting new appointments at this time. She also told me it was out of her hands that I didnt get a response back.
