I have been a patient since February 2020 and appreciate Center for Emotional Health so much! I have seen Ariel, whom I have the utmost respect for! She cares, she listens, she follows up! You do not get these from other PAs in this County. Sheena is wonderful too and so personable in the front office. At the beginning I saw Katherine regularly, the therapist who really helped me establish routines. I will be forever grateful as well as my family from the excellent care I have received!

We had a very poor experience here, if you’re considering bringing your child here I would look other places. Don’t trust that they are advocates for your child, because even when a child opens up about being abused by someone they do not report it to anyone. Which, isn’t legal since they are mandated reporters. Then they find a reason to cancel you numerous times and eventually drop your child with no suggestion of another counselor. Really disappointed that this place is even allowed to operate, they did nothing to help my child.

They are polite and great at what they do. I asked to change meds and they declined. The only other thing, and maybe this is everywhere???, if you are in a crises, you have to wait days to get help. If anyone knows someone that is available for emergencies (not for every day silliness), please advise!

If youre looking for a therapist for a child and you need to be seen more than once a month they can be helpful, and the staff is friendly.The downside to them is that occasionally if you call to cancel or move an appointment it wont get documented properly because the phone number is for multiple offices, and that can incur hefty fees or cause you to be dismissed as a patient. (My advice is to record the conversation, including the date and time, every time you have to change or cancel an appointment so that you have proof.)Also just FYI, even if your appointment is for a full hour and you dont need any of their bloodwork or whatever up towards the front of the building, youll be seen for 35 minutes max.
