Mitchell’s has come up so much from what it used to be ! You see kids learning and playing all at the same time. I’ve been going there for about 7 months now and couldn’t be happier. The staff treats all the kids as their own !The karate they teach is amazing and a great outlet for all ages! When I pick my kid up I can’t wait to hear about how her day has gone ! She has opened up so much since she first went and she’s very shy. With the help of the amazing staff and the support from the friends she’s made I know she’ll have an amazing and eventful learning experience !!They also have an amazing 2,3 and 4 year old program who my sister loves n talks highly about all the time ! So if youre looking for a long term, great place to send your kids you’ve come to the right place.

Our son has been attending the daycare program for more than a year and its been a wonderful experience! A tremendous, caring and creative staff of teachers and a wonderfully positive vibe. I fully recommend to anyone who is seeking out a daycare for their child as well as anyone who wants their child to develop their martial arts training....

Mitchells Martial Arts is a life saver. They service my family in so many ways from day care, before and after school care to summer camp. The staff is friendly and caring while also maintaining a professional stance. I love this place!

I want to let you all know, Mitchells Martial Arts is the greatest place on Earth second only to Disney. And that is my honest opinion. You see my grandson was a sweet but very shy child and I know they out grow shyness,But what if they dont? His parents enrolled him in Mitchells ( he wanted to Try karate) But instead he fell in love with the Art. How is he today? He began his journey in Karate at age 10 he is now a Very Confident 13 year old honor student, outgoing and proud of himself. He will Soon test into his 1st degree Green belt, he helps out on the childrens mat and he Considers himself part of the Mitchells Family. This school teaches more than just thee Art it teaches against bullying and helps them with self confidence issues. I could go on for days..My family LOVES Mitchells Martial Arts 💕. Check them out for yourself please.

I have known Mitchells Martial Arts for more than 10 years now and have trained all over the united states. My wife trains there as well and now my 3 year old has started. We are very happy with the school and would recommend anyone looking for a Martial Arts School that cares about the quality of training to look no further. They have recently grown their learning center to become accredited. I dont know about this program all too well but the fact that guys are striving for excellence is all I need to know.

Mr. Mitchell has helped me through the martial arts for the past two years. I am in Jacksonvile NC now and have enjoyed my experiences with Mr. Mitchell, staff, and the martial arts program. He is a great mentor in the martial arts but more importantly in life. His martial arts, his business, and his life are positive examples for everyone to learn from. Thanks for all the life lessons and hope to see you soon.James

Ive been coming here for about 10 years now and Mitchells Martial Arts has taught me more than I ever expected to learn. I am constantly pushed farther and harder than I ever expected to go. If you put in the time, you will be greatly rewarded.

I do not like this 5 stars system. It should be a way we can give negative points. Im extremely unhappy and I just want to give a -5 but I only have an option to choose 1 ⭐️. Here, my one ⭐️ mean -5.I always wanted my kids to know some martial art so I enrolled both of them to Mitchells Martial Arts. They both started with their little Dragon program and they liked it so we signed up contract for a year. To get this contact, Mr. Bob will come to us for first 4 weeks of class and ask me how my kids are doing and be extra nice but as soon we signed contract, he or anyone else didnt care about anything. When my kids started, they had 3 instructor and divided kids into small group so no one has to wait in line but within a two months one instructor who was main left. Now they only have two with 20-30 kids depend on day of week. Class is only 30 minutes and many kids are just waiting for their turns so basically they only did 10-15 minutes of karate and just waited in line for other half time. Then, one more instructor left for medical reasons and one was doing all the work. They were taking so long for getting new belt. If only my kids are not getting new belt I can understand but there were 10-15 kids who started with my kids were doing same thing and not moving into other beld because they didnt had time to teach them anything new. When I asked the instructor, why they are not getting new beld since they know everything, she told me its take long time to go to next belt. Its taking long time because your are keeping getting new kids every day and teacher doesnt have time to teach anything new since shes busy teaching new kids. I talked to Mr. Bob about it and he said thats how its work. Within 5 months, I told Im not happy and like to get a refund for rest of the months. He only said sorry that Im not happy but he cant give me my refund. He didnt even try to solve the problem. They only like to lock you in contact and o Che you are locked you are stuck with them for a year. Even thought, I have 7 more months to go since I just quit.

I cannot say enough good things about Mitchells Martial Arts. My daughter has had the privilege to be part of this school for almost 4 years now and she is about to test for her 2nd degree Brown Belt and spend her 4th summer with her Mitchells family. My son who is 7 just spent his first summer with Mitchells and cant wait to go back! My son did not take to the Martial Arts classes however he loves going and spending time with his friends, Ms. Keena and Mrs. Angie, so I will begin with them. My son has mild Aspergers and has some difficulty adjusting to new people however he took to these two phenomenal women right away and they with him, so much so that he was hugging them by the end of his first week! I cannot begin to express my gratitude for Mitchells for having these lovely women in their employment. Next I would recognize Mrs. Kim who works in the office. She knows every childs name and their parents name as well. This is no small feat to be accomplished. Mrs. Kim always has a warm smile and a kind word for everyone who darkens her door and no matter what the issue is, she has a solution that works for everyone. Next I would like to recognize Mr. Conrad who is always there to lend an ear for a concerned parent or child and who so unselfishly donates time and wisdom to the Demonstration Team and advocates for everyone involved at Mitchells. He is also the school manager and the fact that the school is award winning speaks volumes about his commitment and the commitment to the whole staff. I also would like to say something about Mr. and Mrs. Mitchell, as the owners they are very involved with the day to day at Mitchells and it warms my heart to know and see them everyday interacting with parents and students and instructors always teaching and guiding in what they know the best! My daughters instructors have shaped and molded her into a confident, independent, mature young lady. She began her classes at night with Mrs. Karen who began her training with Kenpo and set a very firm and concrete foundation for her. Mr. Zack was her second instructor and encouraged and molded her even further and continued the foundation of education for my daughter to want her Black Belt and further helped her continue her Black Belt attitude and by watching Mr. Zach and Mr. Jason she decided to commit herself to the Demonstration Team this past year. She is currently in Mr. Ray and Mr. Jasons class at this time and like I posted earlier she is about test for her 2nd degree Brown Belt.....did I mention that she is 9?? I spend alot of time at Mitchells, not because I have to, but because that is where my kids want to be; they love it there and they WANT to be there! I dont know what I would do without the staff there and I would recommend Mitchells to anyone for daycare, Martial Arts Classes and their summer camp! I am completely fortunate my children have Mitchells to attend. So if your looking for any of this that I mentioned in this review, I highly encourage you to call and make an appointment to check it all out!!!

First I would like to say, that putting my children in Mitchell’s was the best thing I could have done for them. I’m the mother of two wonderful little boys; my oldest is 9 and autistic. Putting him in Mitchell’s has opened him up more than I could have ever imagined. He has learned social skills, self-discipline, respect, and control. For any parent of a special needs child, they know that seeing their child blossom into a respectful little man that is a wonderful thing.I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing both the after school program and the all day care they provide. Mrs. Angie has got to be one of the most AMAZING women I’ve ever met. She has a way with the kids that make them fall in love with her. By the time my youngest started Pre-K he already knew how to write his name, count to 10, and even knew his ABC’s!!!Conrad Morgan and Kim Dyess are more than willing to take time out of their busy schedules to address any of your concerns or questions. Who both I will say, my youngest son absolutely adores. All the instructors are great, with my son being a green belt I’ve gotten to know pretty much all of them. They really do put their all into teaching the kids. In my opinion you will never find any other instructors that care more for their students then them. Even though she has gone away to school my youngest still refers to Ms. Kena as his girlfriend.Mitchell’s is more than just a karate school for kids….they have classes for adults, Zumba (which will kick your butt), kickboxing (watch out for Mr. Aaron), and a gym. They do birthday parties, skate parties and The Salisbury Rollergirls compete there. If you are looking for a good place to take your children for daycare, after school care, or just evening classes go to Mitchell’s Martial Arts!! Trust me you will not be disappointed.

Horrible place! Do not trust them with your children. I had to pick up 2 children from there and they never checked my ID or even if I was authorized to pick them up. They dont keep track of where the kids are at all.
