Exhaust damaged (during a tow) and dealership wanted to replace whole system. So I went down to have it looked over and Doug said he could repair it instead of replacing. Without an appointment my car was taken in and fixed within 20 minutes. Now its so quiet I can barely tell its running. And the best part .... they charged me a fraction of what that shady dealership wanted to charge me. On top of the excellent service from Doug and the savings of not having to replace - I have to also mention on how the whole staff were extremely helpful and friendly.I highly recommend. Ill be back for future needs.

Went to Johnny’s this morning to have 2 mufflers and 2 exhaust tips put on my car. The guy doing the exhaust work was awesome. Took his time and made sure everything was to perfection. Even after I approved how the tips were lined up, and he lowered the car down I realized that I wanted them flush with the bumper. So I asked and he didn’t hesitate at all to take them back off and put them on exactly as I wanted. I can’t begin to explain how much I appreciate the great service!

My work vans catylitic converter was stolen and when I called johnny for a quote he had given me a great price and we had it back the day after we dropped it off. On top of that he had a custom cage welded onto the cat to prevent further theft. Better option then the new cat clamps they are now offering online and at part stores. Definitely recommend!Really nice people!

I took my truck in after it had been throwing a P0420 code. I asked for a new catalytic convertor (most likely culprit for the code) and a new stock muffler to replace my rusted out old one. I dropped my truck off Sunday afternoon and received a call Monday morning that it was done (they dont work on Sundays, so these guys were quick on it Monday!).The truck sounds like it did back when I got it and it hasnt thrown the code. Their work looks great. For what I needed, these guys were perfect.I have used them in the past for Inspections as well and it has always been a quick and easy process.Thanks!

Terrible install. Had dual exhaust installed on a 65 mustang. Rattle constantly going down the road due to subpar hangers and placement, multiple exhaust leaks created, wrong muffler offsets used. Stay away from this place. If this is how they treat a classic car they arent going to treat any car with respect. Photos attached of this mess. Exhaust placed directly next to gas tank. Used existing pipe from exhaust manifold into a different size pipe instead of coming from the exhaust manifold. Placed a hanger on parking brake bracket causing a bind. Not pictured: Exhaust placed on wiring, holes in exhaust pipe from poor welding, incorrect offset mufflers used. I had to pay again for another shop to redo the entire system as nothing was usable it was all poorly done. Absolutely no rattles with the new install by another shop.

Wow didn’t even get to make it to the place. I called at 802 they didn’t pick up then I gave the time proximately 10 minutes later and the phone is going straight to voicemail. I guess I thought people are calling too early but the place opens at eight you’re supposed to pick up the phone for business then when I called back it’s going straight to voicemail so they knew I was calling

I came in with my 2012 Honda Civic Si trying to prep for a car show coming up in a week. I had originally brought my own pipe but my pipe was illegal not the state of North Carolina and I didn’t know but they showed me. Afterwards they made suggestions to do a muffler and resonator delete to open it up and make my car sound better. I did this a week ago and my car sounds phenomenal. My gas mileage is still great and no check engine light in sight. They took great care of my car and even used boards to raise and lower it on and off the lift because my car. They went the extra mile and did a phenomenal job. 5 stars is the least they deserve.

I came in to get my muffler fixed.. didn’t even leave the parking lot, turned my car on and the battery light was on. They acted like they didn’t know why the light came on. Had to get a whole new alternator after “getting my muffler fixed.” Very shady place. Would not recommend.

A local dealer sold me a used car that they claimed had a new catalytic converter installed by Johnnys. There was no room for negotiation on price with the dealer because of the high cost of this replacement (over $1,000). In less than a year (~ 8months / 20k miles later), the brand new catalytic converter that was installed by Johnnys had to be replaced again (FYI: the average life of a catalytic converter is ~ 70k-100k miles). When I asked the dealer to work with me, they reached out to Johnnys and their response was to blame the manufacturer (who I assume theyre still using) and offer zero help whatsoever.

The best exhaust shop around! I went to 4 other so called exhaust shops, they either didnt stock parts, or wanted insane money for a muffler. These guys get it done for a great price and fantastic work!

We took our 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander to Johnny yesterday. It had failed inspection due to a bad catalytic converter. Let me to y’all reading this something... he popped the catalytic converter off in 5 minutes and had the new one on is about 10 minutes! All I could say was wow! He turned out check engine light off yesterday. We took the car for inspection today and it passed. The check engine light is still off. I received a quote from another place and they were going to charge me close to $2100 for something that he remedied for less because it seems only one catalytic converter was bad. All I can say is thank you Johnny. I really appreciate what he did for us yesterday. You saved us when we were in a pickle. Thank you again.

Last two times I’ve went there the guy that does their inspections isn’t there. Four people we waiting for inspections and the employee I spoke with said the inspector wouldn’t be back for an hour. That’s twice now. Won’t go back.Pro tip: have your employee there during standard business hours or have multiple employees for redundancy.

I went to see how much my exhaust replacement would cost, muffler and all. Ine guy came out, looked at it, and U explained what I wanted. He went inside and out came another guy, that I had to explain everything to AGAIN. He looked at it, quoted a price, then I said I was worried about the Catalytic converter... he looked underneath, then quoted an additional cost. I was never asked what kind of muffler (Its an ovious specialty one), never asked if I wanted the same special tips, and didnt check yo see if I even needed the Cat.

These guys are very knowledgeable and are willing to answer all your questions.

No, just no.. They wanted my business and lied to me or just didnt tell me there was a problem. I waited there for 2 + hours for a light, A LIGHT (which I never got) They should have told me what was going on instead of making me wait there. It was rediculous and completely avoidable. Keep your customers in the loop, especially when it comes to their vehicles.

I got a new exhaust system put on my car and after a few months one of the welds broke and the main pipe dropped down from under my car. Apparently the welding was a crappy job. I wouldnt recommend them.

Only have cars inspected, miss diagnosed problem in wife’s car.
