Our air conditioning broke on a Friday morning in July and John from Coastal Comfort came after hours to do a diagnostic. The price was reasonable and John was knowledgeable and professional. He found the problem, put in coolant and we were good to go. Unfortunately, our unit is very old and we needed a new one. Eric called us the next week to set up an appointment for an estimate. He was thorough and answered all of our questions. We are scheduled to get a new unit installed next week. The customer service at Coastal Comfort is outstanding! We are looking forward to a cool August!

I have used Coastal Comfort since I purchased my house to maintain the old system. When it came time to replace the system, they were my first choice. They were NOT the lowest proposal, but I chose them anyway for thier professionalism and knowledge. Tim walked us through the entire process and chose the system that was best for our needs. Emily was very professional and helped us with the billing process.I just wish they had either a senior or veteran discount to help the elderly veterans, especially on a major purchase such as this.

When I was thinking about switching from an electric tank water heater to a gas tank-less, I called Coastal Comfort. I have been a customer for 9 years and I would highly recommend them! Completely recommend this company. Our AC unit went up in the heat of summer and we had researched several options. Tim was very helpful and informative and even came out to house twice to give estimates. He did such a thorough job we knew this would be a good company to go with. I We ended up getting a ductless system and Keith and Gabe were outstanding installers. Patient with my little ones who were always curious about what was going on under the house and very clean and thorough with the install and removal of old equipment. So happy to have our new system installed and ready to face the heat wave!

Our HVAC system a split system, gas/heat pump down stairs and heat pump upstairs. Coastal was the original installer in 2000 and has updated the upstairs unit a few years back. We made small updates for convenience for example, programmable thermostats, gas burners and so on. Over the years of service with coastal, the staff has never let us down. They are prompt on appointment times, treat our home as if it was new and always take those extra few minutes to explain the services provided. I have been with Coastal Comfort for years and they have always been on time, very informal and take care of my a/c and heating needs. Never had a problem and when I need advice or quotes they are always punctual. I would recommend their services to anyone and very trustful and fair in their prices.

Coastal Comfort recently installed a ductless heat pump system in my 120+ year-old house in Easton. I am very satisfied with the product (Mitsubishi heat pump and 4 indoor ductless heads) but Ill focus on Coastal Comfort as there is plenty of information on Mitsubishi systems elsewhere online:1) The thoroughness of the load calculation: Tim inspected my attic, looked under my siding, removed outlet covers to get a look inside the walls, etc to get the most accurate R-values for the calculation and meticulously measured the rooms. The attention to detail was much greater than other outfits.2) A range of options were presented to help me find a system that fit my needs and budget3) Based on my research and the other bids I got their prices for all the options (even the ones I couldnt afford) seemed very reasonable.4) During installation they dealt with all the minor setbacks (snow, me not having the power line installed when I said it would be, etc) very well and they were very flexible. They did a good job cleaning up after they were done and answering questions about the system, etc.The system itself is awesome. MUCH cheaper to run than my old oil boiler!Id definitely recommend them to a friend.

I usually don’t leave reviews but after our experience I feel like I have to.First we had to wait 1 week for them to even have availability to come out. The day off they cancelled so we had to reschedule for the next week. So it was 2 weeks before someone even came out to the house. It’s beginning of summer so I understand everyone is busy. When they came the first day the guy said he wanted to come back the next day to double check before he told us for sure what the problem was so we paid in advance for him to come back out the next day however he never showed up. We called and no one got back to us. He didn’t show the next day either so called again and they tried to charge us again to send someone out when we already paid. They said someone would be out the next day but no one showed up... again. Called again and they said someone would come the next day and they finally showed up (late) and confirmed the problem. It was a pricey fix and since our system is only 3 years old we asked if the warranty would cover any of the parts that needed fixed. They said they would call back and let us know but we never heard back. Two days went by without hearing from them so we just decided we would call someone else. The other place we called came the DAY OF when we called didn’t even charge us to come look at it to confirm the problem then quoted us $1200 LESS then what Coastal Comfort was going to charge us without any help from the warranty.

Good service and quick response

Do not use this company for services unless you want headaches and to be ripped off!We had a transformer go bad on a Trane HVAC unit, so we called and they sent a tech out to fix it but he came on a Monday to tell us he ordered the part and would return Wednesday. After calling to report nobody called or showed up,we were told by the girl at the office the part would not be in until Thursday, so we waited unit than only to be told it came in but they had nobody to pick it up? The temperature outside had dropped in the 30° with frost alerts, but they could care less if we had heat or not.Then Friday came and a totally different tech came to replace the part for $300 labor since the parts were supposedly covered by warranty. After the tech left we went to turn the thermostat up to get heat, only to find out the thermostat DOESNT WORK AFTER HE LEFT???So we had to find another company to order a new thermostat and still have NO HEAT thanks to the INCOMPETENT technicians (two) of them didnt care after taking $500 between the two appointments and thats our discount for paying for the annual program to save money NOT!DONT BE FOOLED BY THEIR TV COMMERCIAL LIKE WE WERE!

Came threw when I really needed them plus gave me good advice

Scheduling was mon-wed and we will call 30 min before. Never got a call back from the call answering service. came out filled with 410a. same issue. came out again said it was the expansion valve and needed to be replaced. Got a second opinion and was a leak and loose temp gauge going to valve(minus some tech terms). Would have lost 500+ had I not got a second opinion. Had really good experience in the past maybe got a tech still learning this time.

We had a failed furnace circulator motor. Coastal had a technician to our home within an hour. The motor was quite expensive, however, Coastals technician worked through the local distributor to have the parts covered under warranty. We were up and running within a couple hours. Coastal Comfort provided great customer service!

In the middle of a heat wave, I called the service after hours and let them know our main A/C was out. TBH, I didnt think I would get a tech for at least a day or two, but later in the afternoon the next day, CC was there and fixed the problem in ten minutes. Cant say enough good things about this company.
