I was not important looking enough for common courtesy. the man who pulled up to ask if i needed a cab wouldnt listen to my reply and just sped off. after i saw him waiting, he pretended to be waiting for someone else while watching his phone. extremely rude and the opposite of helpful. call a Lyft because they employ people who want to be doing what they are paid for.

Guy driving van number 100 almost called a 4 car pile up merging into traffic without looking amongst other things. I called them about the driver almost killing me potentially and they’re exact words were “great.” They couldn’t care less about anything. If I could give them zero or less stars I would.

Called to order cab. Sounded like I had woken the guy up. Sayed 15-20 minutes . Never came. Never called. Called to order cab after that about 4 different occasions.... Never answered

Stir clear on that driver name Lilani. She dont wear facemask and she is a rekless driver.

I love the intelligent ownership & direction of Central Coast Cab. The Director/Owner, a man whom I had the pleasure of meeting personally recently as he assumed my fare, is one of the most aware, educated & enlightened men I have encountered in quite a while. I certainly never expected to enjoy & learn much that is of personal interest to me while riding around the Peninsula in a cab! I believe that Central Coast Cab has a great,Intuitive, personal touch with their clientele. They are a great alternative to the usual “Yellow Cab.”

Like others, I wish I could give zero stars. I prearranged a cab to the airport. I called that morning because the taxi was late. I called a couple of more times because it didn’t show up. Nobody answered after the first call. I finally had to drive myself to the airport and pay over $180 for parking. There in only one way to my house for about 1/2 mile. There was no taxi on the way as I drive to the airport. I will never use this company again.

Never sent. Cab still standing out. Going on an hour

Horrible service. Called to get a cab to Marina and they gave me a 20 min ETA, 40 mins goes by and I call again. Guy says he’ll have the driver call me. Drivers calls me and tells me he’s coming from Salinas and it’ll be 20 mins. I called the dispatcher, Dwayne, and his response was well I gave you the ETA before I had contacted the driver. Are you freaking kidding me. Is this guy mentally sane? How much common sense is needed to know you should contact drivers first and then give an ETA. What a joke. Horrible service. Don’t recommend at all. Go for the other cab service in ending number 1234 much better company!!

Fairly prompt. Very nice driver. Used quickest route. Only problem was difficulty cashing $50 bill. Needs more change but still a great ride.

Driver ran a stop side and took the corner like an Indy car racer. When I told him to slow down, he told me to shut my mouth.

We made arrangements with Central Coast Cab for a long distance transport of our wheelchair bound grandma and a caregiver to our daughters wedding in Big Sur. The driver got them there exactly at the right time. He also helped at the venue with getting the wheelchair up and down ramps and over the lawn. He stood by to assist and help grandma get back to the van when she was ready to leave. The ride and assistance made it possible for grandma to have a great day.

We had a 6:00 am flight out of Monterey. We planned ahead and scheduled a ride at 4:14am. Our driver was early, the car was clean, and our driver was friendly. Pan ahead and you will be just fine when you use central coast taxi.

Terrible customer service! Aside from the rude phone interaction I had with them, I shouldn’t be asked why I need to go where I am going. To make matters worse, they apparently do not operate in San Luis Obispo; so much for being “Central Coast.”Useless company that should be out of business. Here’s to hoping Lyft takes care of y’all!

Great company. Picked up on time and cab waited for me to finish with my appointment and brought me back. No wait time will use in the future!

Unreliable cab service.Used this service twice. First time the cab showed up within 10 minutes of calling & that was nice--its what Im used to when calling for a cab. However the driver was rude and also very blunt on his requirement for a tip.Second time I use this service I had to wait over an hour for the cab. When I called they told me it would take about 15 minutes to arrive. I actually had to call back after waiting for 30 minutes and the dispatcher told me we havent found a cab for you yet and then hung up the phone without so much as a goodbye.The cab that showed up was dirty and smelled like a locker room but the cabbie was polite and I felt bad for him so I still gave a tip.In short I will never use this service again. Made me a believer in Uber

Best cab company on the planet. They may run a min or two behind on occasion but always get you where you need to go. Great service, great people.

Honestly zero stars. I called last night to schedule a pick up for this morning, and thought I had made the reservation when I asked for a pickup and he said well see you then, as standard booking procedure normally goes. They did not show up. When I called, the man hung up on me the first time, then I left a message and never heard back. If not for Lyft, I would have missed my flight home for Christmas. I am appalled by the atrocious customer service of agreeing to pick someone up and then not even contacting me back after multiple contact attempts were made. Dont use this company.

This is the wife writing: We were diverted to LAX from SLO airport due to ground fog at 9:30 on a Sunday night recently. What a horrible way to end our trip! At least we didnt crash was my consolation, as we were bused back to SLO at midnight! Around 2 a.m. I panicked, asking myself how we were going to get home. So with a sleeping toddler on my lap I googled taxi service in SLO and found Central Coast Cab. I gave the phone to my husband and asked him to call. Sam answered and said hed already worked 12 hours, but once he heard our situation, he said he would be there. Sure enough, he was right there at the airport, and he took us and a Cal Poly student we had rescued crying at the United gate in LA home with kindness and courtesy. He rocked. Thank you Sam! Unbelievable. The taxi was late for a pre-assigned trip. Then the taxi driver told me he could only take down my card number on paper since the card machines dont work until 6am. Last time I checked, expecting someone to write down their credit card number on a piece of paper was unacceptable. Take uber, theyve got it figured out.

Cab 18 was swerving on W. Laurel Drive going into 101 North. Almost causing 5 accidents with myself and 4 other cars. He was a white male with a cap on. He also didnt put his blinker on driving wreckless. I dont have any personal experience with this taxi company, this is only from my observation with this perticular driver and for others to be cautious.

Great service, clean cabs, i scheduled a pick up time with them a day before i was going to fly out of monterey, they were at my place 15 mins prior to scheduled time .

Honestly, if I could give them no stars I would. I called for a cab and waited 30 minutes for them to come. After waiting for so long, I called them to follow up and no one answered. I called back a few times and they sent my calls to voicemail. Very rude and unprofessional.

On my way to our clinic, I noticed a dapper, well dressed elderly couple standing with walkers, in the sun unprotected with no hats, looking weak and exhausted in our parking lot. When I asked them why they are in the sun, waiting, they looked at me panicd and said Our taxi has not arrived and we have been here over 30 minutes this began my process of checking with the front desk of the office they just left, and receptionist there confirmed she called 34 minutes ago, and they said it would be ten minutes. I called Central Coast Cab and spoke with the owner, who immediately yelled Im really BUSY RIGHT NOW and I stated busy or not, he is jeopardizing an elderly couples health by not being honest and claiming ten minutes, when it has been over 3x that duration. They could have waited inside, or in the shade - a safer area with a bench, than propped outside in the sun in a parking lot. The taxi never arrived, so I called UBER for this lovely couple, ON ME. PLEASE DO NOT RISK CALLING THIS COMPANY, the owner is a loud, rude, creep who leaves elders with promises and horrible service, and nearly impaired this couple and there health, while waiting for a cab that was over 45 minutes late. CALL ANOTHER COMPANY, people like this should not be allowed a business license.

This cab left me at a pickup spot (kaula ranch in Marina) gave me a 20 min pick up time. Never showed and quit answering the number ending in 3333. Complete no show and Im happy new companies like ub** and ly** are driving them into bankruptcy. Worst thing you can do is no show after leading a rider on after 2 hours that his cab is 20 mins away still. So mad right now with my date on the curb.
