This place is a none friendly work place for us truck driver I strongly feel these workers that work on the check in office have a horrible life and there job is pressure with little pay. So this is the product of there environment but the question is why do we drivers have to suffer for there hate-red towards social and society norms with there legal of education only getting them a physical job not a mental or even a thinking one. Just my personal thoughts. It’s sad to say there all my people. They come for a better life but they got stuck with bills and dead end jobs in accordance to world trade standards!!!!!

OMG, I wish I knew an attorney that fought against discrimination. I have never felt so belittled and embarrassed. Especially when you know their employees are using your disability as a reason for sending you away.Shame on your shipping office.

Its CROWDED CROWDED CROWDED if no parking theres street parking but you may have to walk a mile to check yourself in. Still no drivers allowed on the dock. They have two sets of loading docks a large one and a smaller one the larger shipping area is easy to back into, the smaller shipping departments docks are tighter to get into but still very doable.

WOULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE; the person at check in was so rude & unprofessional.I put my 3 load locks at the side of door before loading; but 2 went missing after finish loading.MAKE SURE TO TELL THEM AHEAD OF TIME AT CHECK IN BOOTH HOW YOU WANT TO LOAD TRAILER (Ex. Single-Double-Single OR Single-Double, etc.), OTHERWISE THEY WILL FORCEFULLY TRY TO CHARGE YOU $60 FOR READJUSTING LOAD.MOST IMPORTANTLY, KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR LOAD BARS & STUFF IN TRAILER (BOUND TO BE TAKEN/MISPLACED).One of the worst shippers to load at in Salinas, CA.

Very long wait, people were super nice, but if you are gonna keep me waiting so so long, at least have some drink vending machines.

Very rude and very unprofessional they should be fired there’s millions of other people who needs job and will appreciate these jobs more than these people who are working in the office.

Extremely Pleased with The Pride that was taken in loading our truck. It was loaded neatly and precisely. You couldn’t even feel or hear the loaders when they were loading the trailer. LASTLY, Thank you for allowing me to get my exercise on and my walk on while waiting to be loaded 😁A girl has to exercise whenever and wherever she can‼️😅🤣😂

Amazing. Yes it takes time to get to a door and loaded but they are super fast with check in and check out. Great experience. Make sure you have your pick up number your trailer plate number and youre good to go

Average produce hole slow tight docking nothing special

Worst place ever and I’ve been doing this a long time. Rude and acts like you’re bothering them to make an appointment when it’s their policy. EVERY time we’ve been here we had to wait at least 5 hours but you can’t miss your appointment time. You have to hurry to check in just to still wait. We made a 4 pm appointment. And we finished at 3 am the following morning for 4 pallets! UUUGGHHHH!!!

Type of chaos that exists in Salinas at most of the coolers. No parking lines at the window because most of the drivers haven’t learned by now how to properly check in with all the info they need to get loaded. Scandalous what goes on over here. And yes, you’ll be here a good long while, pack a lunch and a dinner.

Not enough parking here. Long wait times. Disorganized... had to explain more than once that I was NOT picking up 22 pallets but 5 pallets per my PO#.

Not a place to go. They are very slow to load you. Had an 11pm appointment, checked in at 10pm and was told theyll call me when there ready. Waited and waited, so finally I called them to ask why it was taking so long and the guy at the shipping office told me to back into door 1. So now just waiting to actually get loaded. Know telling how long itll take again.

S L O W as turtles in December wading thru molasses!! Appt time 1900, was told they could work me in early but when I got there at 14:30 they would not even let me check in until 6pm. After checking in, waited 2 full hours, went to stand in line AGAIN, was told I was next. Finally in my door at 21:30. They are STILL not even starting to load me up yet. VERY SLOW, they use a window as if they are afraid their wait times may make drivers aggressive so you don’t even see who you are talking to behind the window. T&A much more organized for picking up produce in Salinas. Bring a full clock, food, tv- you will be here for hours! Bathroom facilities are port a potty, which for females needing to sit after men use it is pretty much not an option. Bring your own for that too. Next bring our own produce too?

Common Sense is not so common anymore...Never had an issue with Dispatchers upon reading all these reviews seems there an attitude problem, I know the Dispatchers in the Check-In window are so saturated with work patience is a virtue also if you if you have all the correct information needed you are in and out no problems, you work with them they will work with you....

Slow and not much parking

Only 1 star because I cant complain without leaving one.....worst ever, rude, no parking go park on street and then come and wait in line, dont forget a mask or you will not be checked in, if your not patked on the street or in a space you will not be checked in.....why an 8 am apt if there are, and this is no exaggeration, 50 or more of us trying to check in for an 8 am apt and you only have 6 docks.....what in the....p.s. bring your own pen....it is posted on check in window!!! Lol OMG this place. 😕

Our appt was at 2000 and didnt get called to a door until after 0100. The people in the office were busy playing on their phones and ignoring drivers waiting to check in and out

I showed up on time and they actually had my load being staged. By the time I docked and walked inside, the forklift driver was nearly complete assembling the 11 pallets. A quick scan of each plt and he started so, in and out in a timely manner. Bonus!

Had a 4 oclock appointment, its now 6:41 and still have 4 trucks ahead of me. Whats the point of even making an appointment? This place is a joke just like this whole town. Only good thing about this place is they do have a bathroom.

Been here forever over 3 hours appt was at 6 got here at 5 for what?? I think first shift is better second shift are very slow. The same trucks have been loading for over two hours. When we first got here they was rolling them out.

Customer service needs to be improved, way they treat driver is really bad. Specially the night shift ones, showing attitude like they are doing stressful job more than anyone others.

You must have an appointment. Be no more than half an hour early for your appointment, parking is occasionally an issue. Park in the lot BEFORE you check in. These folks are polite and on time. If you are the same, all will go well for you. If you act like a jerk, well... You deserve what you get.

Parking is ok. Had a phone issue and instead of coming out to tell us our door was ready, they skipped us and moved on to the next truck. They were very rude when asked why they didnt just come out and tell us instead of bypassing us. Was told to recheck in. Did that then got told by the girl at the window I had to reschedule my appointment because we missed ours. Well duh we missed it. You gave our door to someone else. Rude and very unprofessional. Need to work on your customer service skills.

An hour early for appt, straight into dock and out before appt time. Need clean trailer, precooled +35. Ample Stage Parking on lot, adjacent lot and street. Great loading Crews.

Very disorganized could not get loaded because the terminal manager thought a said a cuss word and wanted me to sign my check in paperwork two hours before check in however i was there all day and couldnt get help avoid this place definitely not professional treat drivers and Trucking companies like we are trash sort of self appointed authority they forget who actually keeps them in business. Place is on are black list

App 8:00p.m Went to the window and he said I had the wrong PO the PO was right he rescheduled me for 11 o’clock waited to 3 N the morning to get loaded bad place & no Parking had to park on the street.

Sit 40 hours to load the truck

Make your APPT early in the day! If you’ve got a stretch ride it can get a little tight on the docks I think 7-10. I had a 6 pm appt parking was full, people on the streets etc typical Salinas. Started getting loaded at 9:37 for 1 friggin pallet...3 Hours.

Took them 4 times to fixed the load. Had me at 82000 lbs and constantly heavy on the drives. Showed up at 1230pm and couldnt leave til 230 am the next day. They need to work on a new system. Lost money because of them.

Came here 8-11-18 in fact its that day Im still here since 1130 am for loaded very quickly but as youve seen in many reviews they cannot and do not know how to load a truck 82000+ came back..this is the 4th time still in dock they wont allow you on the dock to school them how to load a heavy load so waste my time take money out my family and time off the in cab snitch...

The Guy at check was so terrible and mean. They asking me appointment confirmation no. after they complete loading. I put my 3 load lock at door while loading I am for sure loader guy took them. Another worst place to pick in Salinas.
