Worst experience ever. I placed an order online at 10 am and signed up for text alerts and email alerts. I guess an hour after I placed the order they canceled my order because they said they were out of stock and I never got any type of email or text alert. I waited til 6:30 and then gave them a call and they said they canceled my order because they were out of stock. Then someone else said they found it and if. I wanted to place the order again I can go into the store or do it online. Now I had used a gift card for my purchase and they told me it was going to go back to my card. So again I tried to do the purchase with my gift card and it said I have a 0 balance. I called Lowes again and they didnt answer. I called a 3rd time got a hold of a customer service team member. I explained my situation and he said he didnt know and said he would get a manager and if it was okay that I wait for the manager. Was waiting for 15 minutes and he came back and was like it is going to be a while is it okay if I get your number and have them call you back. I was like sure. The day came and went and I never received a call. This is the worst service ever provided. After I use this gift card that was given to me it will be the last time I step in to this store. Rather go to home depot.
If I could give this store negative stars I would. NO ONE ever answers the phone & all you get is the very unhelpful automated system. I have tried to call this store & talk with customer service, delivery, or a store manager. I let the phone ring 3mins, 4mins, 9mins, 6mins, & 8mins at different times. NO ONE EVER ANSWERED. So each time I hung up. I was going to call & just let it ring out of curiosity just to see if anyone would bother to answer but decided not to waste my time. Ill shop over at Home Depot. & I really miss OSH which Lowes ran into the ground. OSH REALLY knew what customer service was all about & I miss them terribly, especially after the sickening treatment at Lowes. They need to fire everyone at this store & start over as an OSH run store!
Its important to preface this review by saying that the store was not even remotely busy -- it was 2pm on a Monday (7-26-2021) and Id go as far to say that the store was dead. Maybe a maximum of 30 customers in this massive store (Id know -- I walked the place several times unfortunately).So, I went in for 2 toilets. Website said there were 15 in stock. Cool. Turns out in a stroke of genius management decided to put Kohlers best selling toilet on the very top of the 15ft shelves. All 15 of them. None on the floor. Whatever.Asked for assistance getting them down and waited 40 minutes for the associate to return -- he never did.Asked for help from a customer service center, 10 minutes later someone came down my aisle and once again I asked for help getting the toilets down. She left and returned 15 minutes later and informed me that the lift we needed was in use and the person operating it would be by shortly. 20 minutes later she told me she is off her shift but the guy with the lift will be here to help shortly. 20 MINUTES LATER (seeing a theme here?) he had still not showed up so I went to the customer service desk and they informed me it would be up to AN HOUR until he was finished helping someone else...Luckily he came within 25 minutes (what has this store done to me?! That sounds like a short amount of time now...) and was cheerful. He helped me look for another product that said it was in stock online and on their internal database but was nowhere to be found.All in all a terrible experience. What couldve taken 15 minutes took this store TWO AND A HALF HOURS to do. I dont want to know what the staff at this store are like when it is busy and I am pleased to say I will never find out -- because I am never coming here again.
I want to congratulate Felipe for the great customer service and support. Every time I have been there, he goes out of his way to help me. I like going to Lowe’s because of his courteous service. Than you very much Felipe.
I’ve being waiting for my refrigerator now for close to 2 weeks. They advise it would be deliver on June 5. No call or text letting me know that they have move my delivery date to June 10. On June 9 I finally got the confirmation that my refrigerator will be deliver between 7:30-11am. I get a text advise me that my refrigerator will be deliver in 30 minutes. Time passes by and no refrigerator or a call letting me know what’s going on. I call the logistics and they told me they forgot the refrigerator at the store. But no phone call to give me an update or apologies for the mistake. I have to do my own detective work to see what’s going on. I should give this store a 0 star. Horrible customer service. Just as bad as the competition if not worst. I also call to get a manager and someone just hang up on me. Really bad and frustrating. I have very high expectations for Lowe’s but the good thing is I now know that customer service is not on top of there list so I will think 3 times if I want to shop here.
Customer service was way better than in Gilroy Ca. I was really surprised to see a big difference in their customer service and you’re able to find someone to help you. Curbside pickup is great too. They were out with my door in less than 2min. In Gilroy they would never come out. Great job guys.
Horrible customer service. Ive called 6 times today trying to inquire if a product was in stock. Nobody answers the phones regardless of what department Ive called except for paint, who answered and asked me to hold and did not come back to the phone. I finally hung up after 20 more minutes of being on hold. I couldnt even get ahold of the management team to inform them of my experience.

Do not use Lowes to install windows or use their approved contractors!!! One of the windows was improperly installed, have called and stopped in store to get window replaced and have not received response. This issue has been ongoing for over 3 years. I have asked to be cced in emails and no one in store has responded.
This store should be ashamed of how poor their customer service and internal communication is. It has been a constant back and forth with them since the beginning of June trying to coordinate delivery of a washer. They were finally able to deliver it, turns out it was broken, they removed it but also took part of the stacking kit leaving us unable to stack the new unit once it was set to arrive. More back and forth later and finally the new unit was in store but no one had notified us. We finally coordinate delivery for today 7/8/21 but apparently they did not communicate internally that the delivery was set for today. We finally gave up on them and picked it up ourselves to self-install. What a mess. This place needs a serious upgrade in customer service.
Hey everybody,Im disappointed in my recent visit to Salinas Lowes.Went in to purchaserefrigerator filtera few different types of bulbs for homeAnd a disposal for sinkI asked staff to help me locate items as I had been to asile and not seen items..So staff then redirected me back to asile .. without coming to help me pick itemsNot only that but it was difficult to find anybody to help me..... I mean I really made a long drive to the city to pick up the things I need, however staff does not want to walk with me to show me items ..Im leaving disappointed/ not the in-store experience I am used too..
The store says that they will beat their competitors and give a 10% off, but that was not case when I show up with a home depot receipt from home depot for the same material. I ask for the manager opinion and he was really rude. Not a good experience from someone that spences thousands on this store!
Ordered some blocks already paid in full and promised a certain time to receive them but til this day still waiting on product?? Its been going on 4 weeks;Theres also not much associates asking customers if they need help, we actually had to look for help? We went to the customer service for help and she couldnt answer our question had to call the manager to answer our questions....
Such a convenient store that’s close by. The have so many things including duraflame logs to dishwashing liquid. The employees are so nice and helpful too.
STAY AWAY! We have been trying to get our dryer fixed for weeks now, we have the extended warranty and the dryer is less than a year old. This is the second time we have had issues with a lowes appliance and it has been impossible to get any help from anyone at lowes. Waiting for hours for anyone in customer service to help and when they do they are very rude. Once we finally got an appointment for our dryer to be fixed they canceld on us twice and we are stuck going through the same process again. Its now been two weeks and I still havent heard from anyone from lowes and my dryer is still broken...Just got off the phone with the supposed general manager there, roxanne, she hung up on me and now wont answer her line. I just want my dryer fixed and I cant even get help from the person who is suppose to be in charge. Worst experience I have ever had.

Paid $1200 on-line for a chain link fencing for pick-up at the Salinas store. Was told a delivery date of 10/5/2020 and they would call when arrived. No one called, no delivery, no answers on when it would actually be at the store. I am still on hold to talk to a supervisor (35 mins now)5 days later-The company that made the chain link was late shipping to Lowes. Lowes manager/supervisor got on the phone with them (many minutes she said) and resolved the delivery fiasco to my satisfaction and I now have my fence and am very happy. The manager did the right thing and I appreciate it!
Though they usually have items that i cannot find anywhere else. (Hence 2 ☆), their customer service is poor at best. Still waiting for a follow up call regarding a window I want to special order. Its been 5 week since speaking to an associate. Plus the employees have no clue on products they have. One employee was certain that 1 item that I was ooking for, they did not carry because it was in his department. Didnt even look, so i went to that isle and sure enough there it was and heavily stocked at that. Unbelievable.

Horrific customer service is such an understatement. I was going to leave 2 stars. But what I just experienced, being left ringing for 7 minutes and just to be hung up on again is the tipping point. It’s not the employees fault but the Human resources and management as they are responsible for providing the best training to their employees. I have met great people out there but so far there are more bad than good. Lowe’s needs to step it up!!!! Left Home Depot because I didn’t want to support Trump. Of course I’m not going back to Home Depot but will need to find another store as they have not switched their service for the last 2 years that I have been there.
I’ve called many times to follow up my refund for my return and exchange but the customer service is left me on waiting for 20 mins then they hang me up. Try to call again and they direct me to waiting without saying anything 😡😡😡

They are friendly and nice. BUT THEY COULD DEFINATELY STOP BEING SO DISCRIMINATIVELY OUTRIGHT JUDGMENTAL AND STOP STEREOTYPING AGAINST ANYONE WHO HAS TATTOOS. not all people who have ink on them are bad nor should we get treated like thieves and followed around like we are broke n arent gonna purchase things. The folks that work in the garden area must love their job. They have such wonderful attitudes and they are eager to share their knowledge. Used the curbside pickup for the first time for lumber and hardware. Lumber was mostly straight and the hardware was exactly what I ordered. Took about 10mins for the guys to come out with the order even after a 25min heads up. Overall, very satisfied!
Wrong price on shelf manager Marcus refuse to honor price. When he spoke to us he pretended to be the store manager when he wasnt. Overall bad customer service.

Love the store, but paying took so much longer than it should have. First poor signage line I stood in for 10 minutes with social distancing to find out it was only for returns, but the cashier couldnt check me out there even though there was no one behind me waiting...Okay, I then search for another cashier. They had only 1 self check working, and a long line. Okay, I found the only other cashier, but we were waiting 10 minute for him to get a freaking price check, Really? That cashier never called for help. I felt like leaving...but finally a nice studious young man finally opened another line to pay....A terrible experience overall. Lowes nice store good variety of items and plants, but inefficient way to pay.

First time shopping at Lowes and it was a good experience. Lots of selections on various items. Competitive prices. Unfortunately there was only one register open at the time so it did take a while to finish shopping. Definitely shopping here again.

It was great i went to the tools section and asked the guy where is this and I showed him the picture off the website he looked at the number and started to help me find it. We couldnt find in his section so he said look down the ile at end so I did it wasnt there so I came back and he then checked on the rack above and found it. He cut open the box and handed it to me. This is the best service Ive ever got from a hardware store im going back as soon as I have more money. Im very happy. This is what i was looking for.
Great place to get supplies for the home and garden. The staff is wonderful there; Ive had nothing but great experiences with everyone. Home Depot is definitely going to have to step up its game. Not to mention its closer to home. Currently remodeling the backyard and will be coming back!

Typical big box store. Had most everything we needed for home improvement. I like the 0% for 6 months on purchases using my Lowes credit card.
Do you remember when you could go into your local hardware store and a friendly guy who knew how to fix pretty much anything took you to the exact thing you needed? Well, Lowes drove all those places out of business and replaced them with gigantic stores where you cant find anything, no one knows anything about their products or how to use them, and they dont even have people working at the checkstands anymore, you have to do that yourself. Its like reverse customer service.
If you take the time to actually interact with their employees, for the most part, they are extremely knowledgeable ( in their specific area). However, sometimes...finding an employee, in the area you need, is a bit more of a challenge. My advise...is be patient, the store is huge, and obviously, we all have questions...due to the nature of the store( basically, most questions aren’t just a simple answer.. additionally, ones needs probably span more than 1 department or isle to get all the answers or items. That being said, have a list made of everything you want to potentially ask, and bring it with you, so you don’t have to keep running around the store, or returning for anything you didn’t get. Remember, it okay, and encouraged to ask questions if you aren’t sure how or where,or what you need. If you aren’t getting good help from someone, just ask for someone else in that department, or a supervisor,...I say this, because I see soooo many people arguing with the people that work there. It’s just my opinion, but,just because they weren’t sure how to help you, doesn’t mean they are an idiot. Geeeezzzz, give those employees a break !! and make sure you ask when you get there, perhaps at the register, which department, they feel you should be looking in, for the needs you have. Sorry, I feel arguing is such a waste of time..and we all end up experiencing the aftermath .. right ?!?!

Terrible customer serviceI needed a piece of CPVC pipe to finish a repair to my hot water heater. Two other stores did not carry it. I wanted to make sure Lowes carried it before I drove out there. I had to call three times, and the last time I let it ring for 8 minutes, before someone finally answered and told me they carried CPVC. When I got to the store I heard several repeat calls for customer service over the loud speakers. One couple was chasing an employee down the middle aisle for help. Is saw several employees standi ng around talking to each other. I guess that was more important than helping customers.

Very big store, I like coming to look at all the gardening stuff and all the plants. The isles are clearly labeled, making things easy to find. No one offered me help today, I did not mind since I did not need help. There are self check out registers as well as regular registers.

The store is clean and well organized. I was able to find everything I needed in a very short time. Checking out is where it got dicey. Four employees standing around in the paint department chit-chatting, but only one cashier with eight people in line!!! The last time I checked we were actually in the United States and I would appreciate the music being played over the speakers to be in English.
After reading reviews about problems with online ordering, I was a bit hesitant to purchase through the Salinas Lowe’s.I put in an online order on Friday for a kitchen cabinet that they did not have in stock. I got an email Monday morning stating the item was in. The staff took 10 minutes to get the item. No damage. The loader Manuel was readily available and very friendly.Overall good experience. I would use online ordering again.

The Lowes in Salinas, CA has everything that you could need and outstanding customer service. I needed to get a few pieces of plywood cut to size while there and they were able to quickly assist.
The store is always clean, but its difficult to find help. I dont like using the self check out but the last 2 times Ive went thats the only thing open. They really need cashiers. There was 5 people in line and only 2 self check outs and only 1 was working. Took about 3 minutes intel someone showed up to help. Lots of parking and the restrooms are very nice and clean.
Way better then the local Home Depot, staff is generally on the good to decent side. Most things are fair priced few over priced. But security patrolled parking lot makes me feel at ease with my tools in my truck while I shop for materials and parts for current jobs or current personal projects
They make it complicated to exchange a propane gas tank first time and don’t feel like coming back for a propane tank
I called and someone answered within a couple rings and was very nice. When I walked in a lady named Kelley was able to help me right away and she also knew what she was talking about which made my visit easy and stress free.I would definitely recommend Lowe’s over Home Depot any day!
The stores in clean and quiet. I would go back again over Home Depot. A lot less chaos. Also they had a lot better selection of Chainsaw bars and chains to choose from. Plus they had chainsaw bar Lube in the gallon jug where is Home Depot did not.

I had the worst experience with this Lowes. I ordered washer dryer for delivery and paid for haul away of my old washer dryer. They scheduled for Saturday. Contact me Friday night and reschedule for Monday morning. Sunday night reschedule for Monday Afternoon. The guys show up and say they cant haul away and wont install. They call their manager Christian was his name. He tells me they cant install and use my old hoses because it voids the Warranty. I said that is BS and he said okay you are right and then insisted they cant use the old hoses. So they just want to drop the new ones in the garage now. I canceled the order and and still waiting for refund. This was an absolute Joke. And this manager Christian, if that is his real name straight up lied. Good one Lowes.

Store had a lot of things, seemed clean, the cashier I interacted with was quite pleasant and the bathroom was clean. I saw a lot of employees, so the store was well staffed. I was directed to the right area of the store when I asked someone for help and in my browsing, another associate offered to assist me. I wish this store wasnt the closest to me at 30 some miles away, but it cant be helped. Ive been twice and enjoyed it.

I usually love shopping online and then picking it up in store. Hassle free, right? Nope!I order a roll of 1 hardware mesh, 2 feet high by 25 long(Item #:492388), online where the specs were cleared stated. I drive over to lowes the next day to pick up, admiring the shiny new facility(my first time there). Im greeted by the customer service associate and am given the item that I supposedly ordered. BUT its 1/4 mesh and only 10 long. This is doubly wrong. He goes on to say that this is the item I ordered, the number matches, and even after seeing the online specs tried to explain to me that he was right, and somehow I must be mistaken(English is my native language, I can read the specs quite well). Eventually, after noticing Im not likely to walk out with the wrong item, went to the garden section, and said, yes this is still the right item.This is not my first rodeo, I will not tolerate Bait and Switch tactics, or False Advertising.After finding the 1 mesh but only finding the 15 feet long, I find it is the same price as the 25 feet long, and ask to talk to the manager. The manager greets me from her desk chair fifteen feet away, and seems more bothered at being interrupted then concerned about my general happiness. Apparently they can only reprice an item if its the wrong price. But not if its two fifths Shorter then advertised?This is the worst experience Ive had in retail, I expect better, and will not be returning even if prices are lower then advertised. They clearly are not concerned with customer happiness, or with being truthful.

I placed two different orders into Lowes for appliances. With the first order, my order was deleted by the store without informing me after I had received a 2- hour window the night before the scheduled delivery. The second order wasleft off the manifest for some unknown reason, again without notice. Each necessitated over 30 minutes on the phone- transferred from the store to customer service to the outsourced delivery service and the cycle was repeated. The few dollars I saved was not worth the hassle.
