We are currently on the road traveling from Oregon to Florida and had a starter go out on our Ford Excursion. They came and got us from Long McAurther and fixed it up for us within a few hours to get us back on the road. We are so grateful for their speedy response and quality of work (so far so good!). Thank you guys for your work!

We have been taking our vehicles to Terry and Jeff for nearly 20 years. This is an honest, quality auto repair facility. You will never have to question their integrity when they advise you regarding the service/repairs needed on your vehicle. They will always call first and they have no issue showing you exactly what the issue is before they perform the service. In many cases, I have been able to just drop in and say this is what is going on, what do you think?, then they will stop and take a look or drive it for a few minutes and diagnose then schedule me in within a day or two. I have rarely had to leave a car overnight. They get the job done right AND timely! I have NEVER had to take a car back to say it wasnt done right. I will always recommend Oards!

Our car almost caught on fire! an amazing, professional, awesome guy in overalls named Terry picked us up and gave us a ride! then they gave us a ride to the airport to get a rental. i am 22 and my friend that i was traveling with is 21. we are students (and also girls) and were treated as equals, which is weirdly nice. service was quick and they let us hang out in the body shop and use their fan because it was hot as the dickens. in synthesis, we don’t love kansas, but we love oard’s!

My friend and I were traveling from Tennessee and our car completely gave out on us on the interstate. We called them hoping they could tow us and figure out what happened. Terry was there within less than an hour to save the day!!! And we were kinda far from them. They were all so kind and helpful and went above and BEYOND with the service. If I lived in Kansas I would recommend this place to everyone . Incredible service with incredible people.

Hands down, the best car repair experience I have ever had. They got me back on the road in just a few hours. The whole process was completely transparent; They showed me the problem and explained everything that had to be done. Reasonable price. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They even allowed me to bring my dog in to the shop waiting area.Auto repairs are never fun, but they made the experience as easy and quick and comfortable as possible. Thanks to them, I was able to make it back on the road and to my destination within my timeline.

Took my car there for service. Needed the water pump replaced. Turned out to be a shaft driven pump so there was a lot of labor involved as the pump is gear driven off the engine not by a belt. But the pump itself came with a lifetime warranty so we went ahead and had it replaced thinking we would only have to pay for it once.So now a year and 4 months later we find another leak. The pump itself is fine. Its leaking from a poorly installed gasket. So its the labor that failed. Which is relevant because when we called to report the leak they said... Yes, the pump is covered under warranty but the labor is not since it has been over a year since the repair was done, it will be 1000 dollars to replace. So they guarantee parts for a lifetime but not their labor...? Thats a pretty big loophole they did not mention when I agreed to have them do the work the first time.Pretty shady business. Do not recomend. I will not be back.

Our car broke down on I-70 west of Salina. The tow driver recommend Oards. I called them from the side of the road and they got us in right away. We needed a new alternator. Price and labor seemed fair and we were back on the road in a couple hours.

We were in the middle of a road trip and our A/C started failing in September with temps in the 90’s. With 6 hours left, a dog, and a baby, we called and were told we could come in right away. Our car was assessed promptly and it was determined that our Freon was leaking. He refilled it for us to get us on our way ASAP and we were able to continue on our journey 45 minutes later. It blew out such cool air afterwards and it felt heavenly. They saved us, highly recommend!!!

Even though they were about to close, they were willing to pull my car in and help me diagnose what was wrong with my car. They really do treat you like family

In the middle of a cross-country road trip, we broke down on the side of I-70 when my alternator stopped working and my battery eventually died. The next morning, we took the car to Oards and I was totally impressed at how quickly they were to help and make room in their schedule to accommodate us as walk-ins. Professional service, friendly, and accommodating. Thank you, Oards, for getting us out of a lousy situation.

Have always heard good things about this shop. So, I gave them a try. Had them install a new starter, which they did a great job. And wanted them to address a stumble in the motor. All they did was advance the timing to 14 degrees. Which stock timing is 8 degrees. Still had the stumble. All of this took nearly two weeks.Ended up that all it needed was to have the carb rebuilt. And then I had to have the timing re-adjusted back to normal.Probably wont be back, cause if you cant diagnose an oldie (pre 75), how can I believe you can work on a new one.

Our sons car broke down in Salina and they were kind enough to take the time to diagnose the problem, which they thought would probably be $1200 to fix. However, once they took a closer look, it was only a $100 problem. They could have simply done the original repair, but they were honest. We give them a thumbs up!

My dad took his car in for brake work, a $300 dollar job, and just a couple days later took it back because they were already squealing again. They did not offer to take a look at it, but put the blame on a new tech. So he took it to another place call Richards, and they showed my dad exactly what the problem was, and what was not done correctly to begin with. This shop told him they get a lot of Oards rework. My dad had been a long time customer, and for them to not even offer to take a look at is just wrong. Do not do business here, you may regret it later.

Long review but well worth it. Blew my serpentine belt (which added to a mess of other problems) on I70W during a cross country trip and was towed to Oards within 10-15 minutes (Oards did not actually tow me and I completely regret forgetting the name of the guy because he was awesome too!!) When we got there we initially were told they were backed up and couldnt fix my truck until Tuesday or Wednesday (this was Friday). Apparently this was an issue throughout the area, because we were told the same from other local shops. However before I even had the chance to panic (I have a job to start on Monday in Colorado) he said to hang around and hed get to it as soon as he could. After looking it over he gave me a 3 hour wait, updated us often, finished before 3 hours and gave me a warranty on the parts. Great customer service is a total understatement!! If youre in the area and in need of repairs you need to go to Oards! Thanks again guys!!
