Due to an event that required me to travel to Houston with just two days notice, my car required basic maintenance before I left. I spoke with Tony in the service department, this man is totally amazing! He was able to get me in and oversaw all of the oil changing, tire rotation, filter changing, etc. Tony has always, always has looked out after me! He is very customer oriented and truly believes and lives in providing a service. You don’t see that very much anymore anywhere you go. Tony understands providing a service. He takes his job personal, and is extremely good at it! Conklin’s made a wise Business decision by hiring Tony along time ago.

Tim is absolutely awesome! If you need a nice, honest, no pressure sales rep he is who you should seek out. My sister and I bought a 2009 Honda Accord about a month ago. Tim really worked with everyone at the dealership to help my sister secure financing and a great car. Unfortunately, the car did have the alternator go out a day or so out of warranty. Tim was there again to make sure things were sorted out. He made sure my sister had a loaner vehicle and that the car was repaired free of charge because the purchase was so recent.Larry, sales manager, is also very kind and helpful and Im sure assisted with this situation.Overall, very pleased and would recommend Tim to anyone. Sales reps really are where a dealership retains and gains more business. Kudos to you Tim for being amazing and understanding.

I had car trouble close to the Salina exits on my way to Colorado and my mechanic James at Kansasland land in Topeka recommended this GMC dealership.They were quick to get me the first available appointment for diagnostic and because I did not want to wait and continue onto Colorado I was able to rent a car from the dealership. The total process from being towed and back on the road took 1 1/2 hours, which is not much loss time. My vehicle was ready for pickup on the way back home. I dealt with Roger and we played phone tag a lot, but he was quick to return my calls even after he was off work.I would highly recommend Conklin Cars Chevrolet.

Got there and was not on the books even though called and scheduled earlier in the week. After 4hours for routine oil change and tire rotation tried calling and had to leave a message. Then when called back was told person needed to speak with was on the phone and would call me back and never did. Finally just went there at 530p after dropping truck off at 1230 and my truck was done. But was never contacted and paper work had been misplaced and he took responsibility. Only reason even gave two stars was because guy actually spoke up and took responsibility.

Horrible!!!! Brought my 04 Sierra duramax in because it was throwing an abs and service brake system and wouldnt shift through the gears. Should have been a simple diagnostic. But they came back with $6000 in part and $2000 labor! Its simply the ABS low speed sensor, a 36 dollar part! Thanks to Amcco Im back on the road and headed to my destination. Do not take your vehicle here to be serviced they will rip you off!!!!

They did a good job on my oil change and tire rotation. They washed my car for me. Gals up front were very nice. The only problem was my appt was at 11. I had it on my phone calendar. I had it in text to my husband. I know it was 11. I get there and they say it is 9. I was like no i know it wasnt as we werent planning to be in town that early as we live 40 miles away. They were very very nice and still took my car anyways which i appreciate but maybe whoever schedules make sure you are actually putting someone where you say you are? Otherwise i was very satisified!

So me an my husband went to go get our oil change here, an it was 10:13am when we took our car in, an they had told us it would be an hour an half. Sure we got a lift to our house an back, but it was til almost 2pm when our car was done. They said they would call us when the car was ready, we didn’t get a call had to call several times to even see when it would be done.

We were out of town at a funeral when our check engine light came on and our car began to act up. We were able to get our car into the Conklin Service Department and within two hours they had the problem diagnosed and the car repaired. Their customer service representative were both friendly and very helpful. They made a difficult and stressful situation easier to deal with. Thank you Conklin Motors Service Department.

I have always worked on my own vehicles but this was done as an insurance claim so I was required to use an actual shop. I was very impressed with Don in the body shop. His communication was great and he explained everything that was being done to my truck. There were a couple of small items that weren’t covered by insurance that Don quoted me a great price on and made sure they were done in time for me to drop my rental car off. He also worked with the service department to make sure my recall items were taken care of while my truck was in the shop. Overall I came away very impressed by the quality and service provided to me. I will definitely visit Conklin when I’m ready for a new vehicle based on my experience with Don in the body shop.

My car key snapped off its fob. Conklin had the part in stock & was able to schedule me quickly. They were very efficient and friendly, and it cost about half of what I expected from a dealership.

This is based on my experience trying to get a key copied. I scheduled my appointment about a week in advance. About 30 mins into my appointment they told me the key had been sold. I had to reschedule for the following week. When I called to confirm my appointment the person on the phone couldnt find my appointment anywhere in there system. At this point I just told them to forget the whole thing and I went somewhere else

I made an appointment late, they got me in and then squeezed in a second car with an oil change. My wife also was happy when her car came home clean as a whistle. Thank you!

Traveling across country, my transmission went out in Salina. Conklin was able to get a new transmission in and had my going again the next day. Courteous and timely service. No complaints with the Conklin team.

I received a recall notice on my Avalanche passenger air bag. After the service was complete I noted a new crack in my dashboard, and had service look at it. Photos were taken but have not heard anything from them as promised. Still waiting...

They got my wifes car in quick and it was right back out in a few hours. It was mtc work. The light tan leather interior was still pristine! No grease or evidence of work being done.It needed a replacement part. I was called it was clear what was needed and no surprise charges in the end.Glad I choose Conklin!

My car broke down on I-135 outside of Salina on February 18th. I limped into Conklin Chevrolet. Here I am on March 2nd and finally get my car back, hopefully all fixed. It was the high pressure power steering line which led to the power steering pump needing replaced also. Delays after delays in getting parts in. Then, power steering pump flywheel was bent that came in. Wow, what a lesson in patiences. Then, NO discounts after 12 day wait!!!

The service manager did an excellent job resolving my issue. I would recommend Conklin Cars to anyone in the Salina area.

Let me start off by saying the whole sale of the truck was great. Told me everything I wanted to know about the truck and even delivered it. I was told the finance guy made a mistake and they were going to cover the sales tax because it was supposed to be paid in state and I’m out of state. Found out today 2500 bucks later that was a lie. Then I was also promised some touch up paint the next day in the mail. I haven’t hear from them in quite awhile. Any communication after the sale has been by me. As a customer it just made me feel like I mattered at first but after the sale was final I was on my own and it didn’t matter anymore.

Oil change on Saturday and they were fast,showed all the other check points they do were all good. Certified techs here,that you wont find at fast oil change places. Prices for oil change were fair, $15 to rotate my pickup tires is more than fair. Great service department!!

On our way through Kansas to visit the grandkids four days before Christmas our Chevrolet transmission broke and we limped to a hotel next to the Conklin dealership. At 7a.m. The next morning we presented our problem, discovering a transmission was needed. With the COVID Christmas slowing deliveries the transmission arrived in the afternoon before the needed travel day.We want to especially thank Troy Ross, who decided to put in a long evening after the days work to put in more hours to completely install the new transmission. Always a great experience with Conklin in Salina, but this time was exceptional.My husbands vehicle was acting up so I called to see if they could get it checked out the following day or sometime soon.The woman I spoke with said they usually didnt do Saturdays for the type of concern I had. However, she offered me 2 different times for the same day. That in itself is incredible service.But the good continued. After diagnosing the problem, Roger called me to explain. He spend a good couple minutes with a very detailed and understandable explanation. Since, it was my husbands car and my husband does the car things I asked to Roger to call him. He was so gracious about calling him, and didnt seem upset how much time he had been explaining it to me. Especially after discovering, my husband gave him my number to call!!
