My wife just gave notice at NuMotion after 17 years working for them as ATP and was Ambassador for years. Because of how this company operates she felt it time to put in 2 weeks notice. The Management tried for 45 minuets to convince her to stay but she said no and they showed her the door. They paid her small salary ( these employees earn there money on commissions ) for 2 weeks so she worked at home 50-60 hours in those 2 weeks putting in her final orders to get the next person caught up and of course for payment of commission. NuMotion said they would not pay here any commissions for the orders she put in while still employed, this is how they treat there people. Integrity is not NuMotion strong point and upper management does not have a clue what the ATPs go through in the field. They may advertise caring for people but I see this company another way and that there number one concern is the bottom line. Maybe they will make good with my wife and pay her for her services or maybe wont. We shall wait and see....more to come.
Called the after hours number about my wheelchair, the front wheel had come off and separated from the hub, they put in a work order for tech to come out the next day. I called the office in the am and they had a tech out in a few hours and replaced the front wheel for me and now I am up and going again. Thank you so much. So far great service.
This company does not deserve even 1 star! During the course of 5 months we met all requirements yet we were told to contact our insurance only to find out NOTHING had been submitted. My husband asked if the insurance had not expedited the claim would Numotion act. The answer was PROBABLY NOT!!!!!We now have requested all documents and have a 3 week time for the manual chair to be made.Do they have the best interest of the disabled?
Numotion has been great and very helpful in all my dealings with them they are awsome and good people very helpful and consistant and go over and beyond .just have to have patients dealing with any company but it is worth it and the help os great and the products are amazing
Vultures! These people have been passing me around for months now. I had an order in progress for a wheelchair, but there was some kind of hold up... I was told it would be about 2 months until I got my new chair, and here we are 2 months later and I just found out they messed up the first order. No one contacted me!!! They simply stayed cowardly quiet. If you have been disabled your whole life and are used to being treated like a child and like being in that role, this place is for you for sure. But if you became handicapped later in life, after you developed dignity, then avoid them at all cost.I’m searching for another company to go with, this place just preys on the docile.
They are very helpful and very kind
I would not recommend this company to anyone! I currently work for a disabled gentleman in need for a wheelchair after an amputation, this company was referred to him buy another company. Numotion has been extremely unreliable and unprofessional in all dealings. A very expensive chair was ordered by Numotion and at the time of arrival, the company was told that the chair did NOT fit into the transport vehicle but the company has been dragging their feet for over a year and been unwilling to accept fault or blame or find a replacement chair leaving the disabled gentleman unable to be transported anywhere with his family. This company is taking advantage of our most vulnerable population.
They have a lot of wheelchairs, electric scooters, etc. Theyre very helpful in getting insurance coverage, also.
There are no words to describe how incompetent this company is. They take months and months to get parts to fix a wheelchair. They never have all the parts needed when they finally show up months after ordering needed parts, which keeps you waiting a few more months before all the parts are in and everything is finished. This makes them very neglectful of our disabled people who need equipment in good repair. I would not even give this company one star. When they were United Seating and Mobility they did a great job. It has gone way down hill since Nu Motion bought them out. The problems we have had with them are repeated each and every time we need a repair. I am looking into finding a different local company to work with us. Dont go to this company.
They claim that their orders for durable medical equipment are proprietary. This is a lie, of course. The patient has a right to a copy of the order for equipment that was approved by the patients insurance company just as patients have a right to view their own medical bills to insurance companies. This is important to know that something was not added which had not been approved, or missing when it was approved. The company is famous for measuring wrong for wheelchairs and ordering wrong parts, all so that they can charge the insurance company or the patient for correcting the issues or buying the correct parts, while they get to keep and sell the wrong parts since insurance already paid for them. The secrecy about what they actually order should be illegal. They told me they would not let me have access to the item when it arrived because it had to be assembled and it would be a liability, but this is another lie. The equipment comes in two parts and has to be in those two parts to load into my vehicle! I discovered by talking to the manufacturer (Rifton) that an expensive extra part was in the order. Then Numotion told Rifton to not disclose any more information to me as to what was on the order. They also lose paperwork, and dont even forward it to insurance unless begged repeatedly. Once they get approval, they dont even notice this until the patient calls. They dont know how to use their own computer system or phone system. Everything is a secret- the names of supervisors, a way to reach supervisors, etc. The default mode is to just hang up. One lady referred to an ATP, and I asked what that means, and instead of just answering she immediately became angry and said, If there isnt anything else, Im hanging up.
NuMution has provided me with wonderful service. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable, friendly, kind and considerate. The wheelchair I wanted was measured and built to my physical needs. After it was delivered from the factory (in a timely manner, I might add) my wheelchair was then delivered to me at my home on Sunday, long after the work week ended!Ill be returning to NuMotion for any future needs I may have.JAnn Pope
This company is absolutely horrible!
Bad service
