Employed by Elwood for a few months and then Covid 19 spread worldwide. I had made it through the training period and was settling in. I was told by a friend that he was in contact with a infected customer at work and he had been to see me a few times since. I immediately informed my coworkers and was fired by Dynex America no conversation as if committing a crime. Elwood did the same no call just flat lined like a criminal. Now I am in a status of ineligible for rehire. Neither company asked for the chain of contact with the virus from me and Im pretty sure they had an outbreak a couple weeks later.

I want to thank April at Elwood Staffing for being so respectful and taking care of any and all issues that I have. She is very polite and she takes care of things as she is made aware of them. I would give 10 stars but only have the option of 5 🙂

Yesterday I walked in with FULL hope of being able to go into my next chapter and the staff at Elwood Staffing was able to make that happen for me. Jess and Lori are very sweet and wonderful to have a conversation with! David was very thorough with explaining things even when I felt like my questions were common sense he still made me feel like they were great questions! All of them made me laugh and made me feel confident that my assignment will go so well! This month I am 6 months sober and getting a job that fit me well was next! Elwood staffing is apart of that accomplishment. You all are very fantastic at your jobs and I cannot wait to continue to be apart of Elwood!❤

This company is very unprofessional. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. My reason for this is as follows:I applied for a few positions with Elwood staffing. After talking to an associate for 20 minutes I was told to come in for an appointment. I arrived at my appointment and meet with Rachel. Rachel and I conducted the application process and all the on boarding papers. After finding out the position I was interested in was filled, she went over other positions with me that I may have interest in. However, after that incident she told me she would follow up with me the next day or the start of the following business week. So let’s move forward an entire month. So a full month passes and I have absolutely NO contact from Rachel. So I decide to call the office and I speak to a lady I believe may be named Debbie. We speak for about 10 minutes and I fill her in on my situation, and she tells me she’s glad to hear from me because they have positions I may have an interest in. She tells me Rachel is on her lunch and will return within 30 minutes and she will have Rachel call me. Now here I am, a week after that phone call, and Rachel has NOT called me back. So almost 2 months after applying at Elwood and I’m STILL seeking employment. Very very unhappy with this company. 😢😢😢😢

I was able to get a job fast but the job I have is running my body in refrains with all the over time... no fault of Elwood but still, very hard. I went to school for welding but ended up getting a job as s mechanical assembler, still hoping to get a job welding hopefully sooner than later.

If i could give 0 stars i would. I did an assignment through this company, while working a guy asked me for pain pills since i just had teeth removed. I report it to both elwood and the supervisor. I get fired and on the no re hire list. Even 2 years later for trying to do the right thing. This place punishes you for doing the right thing. Stay away.

If you are a blue-collar worker, its a good place to join up with. But, as an office temp, Ive found that the office jobs are few and far between. Now they make robo-calls to all the active job seekers, which I object to, since all the jobs are warehouse and/or manufacturing. I was never informed that my number would be on this list, nor was I given the chance to opt-out. Robo-calls waste my cell phone minutes and I believe they violate my privacy, but Im told that for my number to be removed, Id have to be removed from the active job-seekers list.The rare occasions that Im at their office, Im treated like some rookie who doesnt know diddly about how the world works, but I have over 30 years of office and admin experience, quite a few of these being in temporary assignments. I expected to be treated more as an equal, not as a junior, entry-level clerk.AND when you sign up with them? THEY MAKE YOU PAY $20 FOR THE DRUG TEST! They do the test in-house - I have NEVER encountered any other agency that makes the applicant pay for this test. So be aware that youre first paycheck will be short by $20.
