I attended a wedding at this historic location. The building itself is very nice. The park across the street just adds to ambiance making it just lovely. The one drawback is a lack of central air and/or air conditioning. A number of the attendees made notice of hot it was even with all of the windows open on the second floor. Only negative to the place, otherwise it was wonderful.

If you find yourself in the Chestnut Street area, stop by this historic hall. They welcome visitors during regular hours as long as there is not a special event. The ballroom is spectacular!

Beautiful event venue. Quaint rooms. Wonderful service including working with you to call when room is ready since took red-eye and exhausted. Easy to change reservations for stay. Great restaurants with great food. Enjoyed breakfast in the main dining area and cheese plate and salads and light bites in the tavern. Try the watermelon salad in the tavern! Great cozy arm chair seating. The Grand ball room is an elegant venue for event especially wedding reception and second floor great area for gathering for cocktails and appetizers. The food is exquisite, very tasty, and very elegant. Lobster bisque is incredible. The oyster bar is incredible. Highly recommend this hotel and ask its restaurants and venue for events. Great location to walk everywhere around Salem.

We were at Hamilton Hall two weeks ago as the entertainment for Amy and Paul’s wedding. We worked with Robin from Hamilton Hall and Chris from Creative Catering. The food and service was phenomenal! They were so easy to work with and the flow of the wedding couldn’t have been smoother! The grounds are beautiful for any ceremony, cocktail and reception. Highly recommend Hamilton Hall for any couple looking for a great location and venue for their wedding!Jim CollinsCollins Entertainment

What a great historical site. Im a big fan of History and always like to learn new and interesting facts about the places I visit. This is an easily accessible and interesting place to go. If you are Keen to know more about the locations around you or are visiting Hamilton Hall is a place you will not want to miss. I highly suggested as it is a quick view of interesting time in history. Anytime, and any season are great to visit but as it is indoors going in colder months is always best.

Beautiful and historic place. Built in 1804 and dedicated to Alexander Hamilton but he was killed the same year and never got to see it. Built as a social hall for the wealthy families of Chestnut St.

A beautiful historic Hall in Historic downtown Salem on Chestnut Street. The building has a great architectural design from the exterior to the interior. It makes you feel like youre going back in time into a time machine to experience what culture was back in the 18th and 17th centuries.
