Trinity’s Quality Auto Care stays true to their name. This business is run with excellence, efficiency, and integrity. Whenever I take a car in for some work, I don’t have to expect a whole host of “Suggested Repairs” on things that I know are just fine. But if my car really is falling apart or coming up on important maintenance benchmarks, I trust Trinity’s to tell me that and explain why. And if there’s nothing wrong, they keep it that way. Trinity’s has a great system. Their techs are great (Garrett worked on my car this time and things are running smooth again). Chad, their service advisor, really knows his stuff and communicates well. Even if my car needs expensive repairs, my family trusts this team to do things right - and they really do.

My car was making a strange noise when I would turn my wheels. I went to Les Swab and they said that the nuts holding the engine were broken and loose. I was told that Trinity Auto Care was a good place to take it. I was pleasantly surprised at how well they took care of me. Chad was very nice and I was able to make the appointment for the next day. They repaired the car, very reasonably price. I immediately could tell that the car was fix. At the same time my sisters car ignition needed repair and they got her in also.I will continue to use them when something goes wrong. I trust they will taken care of me.I will defiantly continue to use they for any repairs needed on the car.

I had a pre-purchase inspection done here and I cant recommend them enough. They were incredibly professional. Billy took time to answer all of my questions and elaborated without me asking when he could tell I wasnt following or needed more info. As a woman, I have definitely had men talk down to me in this situation and he was so helpful and kind. They have software that allows them to enter pictures and go over every single system. You get info from lights to fluids to batteries to belts...you get the point. It also allows them to rate their findings in green, yellow and red, as to the urgency of addressing the issues. Edit: they fixed the issue with my motor mount and everything is running smoothly. I shouldnt have had to bring my car back, and that is why only 4 stars. I will give them another chance.I had my car at the shop for a week. Its running pretty good. However, I had a motor mount replaced and its not screwed down all the way. 🤦🏻‍♀️ At the moment, if Im not careful when shifting, I get a CLUNK. Im also a little concerned with the RPMs going a little high between gears.

These guys are AWESOME! I’m new into town and found this place on Apple Maps and went based off pics and the fact they were 3 minutes form my apt. I immediately had the “good local shop” vibe. Left my truck there for the day for inspection and when done, they emailed me the most comprehensive report I’ve ever received from a mechanic. Decided to OK the work and truck is much better. Great job all around Really honest guys and a family business vibe. Very pleased with them. Looks like a have my go to shop in my new city.

Billy was very professional. The car was serviced properly and on time. There was a minor misunderstanding with the original estimate. I heard it to be ~$2,500 but it came in closer to $2,700. Will always take my car to Trinity from now on.

Well they got done with the work on my Tundra faster than I expected, Which is awesome, however, I picked it up at about 1130am drove it to work and parked it.. That evening I left town to head to Rockaway Beach for the weekend. Got over half way there and my Serpentine Belt shredded. I dont know how they didnt catch the condition of the belt while working on my truck. Had to sit on the side of 101 and wait over an hour for help and $60 for a part.... not sure Ill be going back anytime soon unless they make this right.

So when I picked up my truck I was quoted 6500, when I requested an emailed quote it was over 4000. I asked how yall came to your conclusion, I was told block test . This is the result of my test. I run it for 2x as long as the test required. So are you just ripping people off or ?? Please help me understand what happened

DONT WASTE THE TIME OR MONEY HERE. I had gone to get a diagnostic on why my vehicle was not starting, I suggested it was the starter before dropping it off, after an hour I had gotten a call from trinity auto stating that it was the alternator and my battery was leaking, it wasn’t but oh well who cares…they offered to fix both issues and quoted me a price of $800.00 to which I declined. After paying for the diagnostic which was a mere $80.00 I decided to purchase a new alternator at Napa Auto for $275.00 and install it myself. This morning my car still will not start, I COULD NOT IMAGINE IF I HAD PAID THESE QUACKS $800.00 when they can’t even diagnose the issue in the first place. Total jokes working here DO NOT WASE THE TIME AND OR MONEY

Ive always viewed a mechanic like a barber... you dont just go to anyone. You do your research and find the right one. You dont go cheap on it, but you want to find good value for what youll eventually be paying.Trinity was awesome. They got us in for an oil change within a day of calling. Gave us a complementary full vehicle inspection and gave us a detailed report of issues. They separated it out between things that can basically be ignored, things that are in their early stages (likely within a year or so) and things that need to be addressed quickly. We had some significant brake issues that needed to be addressed, and they got us in within 2 days of that appointment to get it fixed (it was a Friday, they got us in on Monday.Theyre professional, fast and communicate well. Stuff Ive had other mechanics take a full day, they got done in 4 hours. They texted updates, etc. We have been in Salem for just over a year and we have found our mechanic going forward. Wont look anywhere else!

The serpentine belt was damaged. These fine folks got me back up and driving the next morning. Fantastic service.

Taking a road trip & I was hearing my breaks squeak. Didn’t feel comfortable taking the trip without a break inspection. Called our usual mechanic & he was unable to look at our car before the trip. I googled Break repair near me & Trinity’s Quality Auto repair appeared. Based on the 5 star rating & reviews I called them. They got me in same day for the trip check & found my problem. In & out in one day & my vehicle was safe to travel. What a blessing. Will be coming back to them in the future.

Trinity performed a complete diagnostic on my 2009 Honda Pilot due to lit up dashboard warning lights. They identified the problem and a few other suggested maintenance items. We had them fix the problem and complete most of their additional suggestions. They met the schedule and the vehicle is running great. Professional, courteous and quality in every regard. I would highly recommend.

I took in my 2005 tahoe witch i recently bought I wanted to do a full service and fix a leak . when I picked it up i could feel the difference how it ran and the leak was fixed and they even cleaned all around the area. Great job

The staff was very kind and helpful. They answered all my questions in professional manner. Many places will try to sell me other services and extra repairs that are not needed, Trinitys did not do that. This place was great, first time using them. I have an old car and we ran into one unforeseen issue with the car stalling just a couple blocks away, called them, they came right out and towed me back and fixed the issue, really great service!

This place is amazing. My diesel stopped working. I called explained my situation, they said to have it towed in and I did not have to go in with it. They fixed it and had it back on the road very quickly. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable!

I went for a simple oil change and tire rotation. When I left there my van was acting strange and went into limp mode. So I came back and after standing out in the rain running multiple diagnostic checks and researching it, mind you they definitely did not have to do this. They found out because the tire difference from front to back was reading wrong on a sensor so they quickly put the tires back and it was fixed and I was on my way. All very fast and professional. Cannot recommend them enough.

They were very friendly and upfront with what they saw in their first inspection and even after their initial inspection they found another problem and verified with me before any more work was done.

We have a 2003 Volvo S40 and it was making a terrible noise. Read reviews about Trinitys Quality Auto Repair and decided to take it there. They diagnostic it, found the issue and had it fixed two days earlier than expected. The car runs great and will be back for sure!

They did a diagnostic on my vehicle and were very thorough with it. They send me the report that included pictures and information about what needed to get done on it. I liked that it had color coded remarks about what can wait and what was urgent on it. It was 120 dollars per hour though.

They fixed the thermostat. The check engine light is gone now. But this shop is too expensive. The Yelp description said affordable and willing to work with you. But the guy I talked to on the phone was firm and matter of fact. Not very friendly. He gave me a price breakdown only when I was trying to add up the quote over the phone. I had previously ran the code myself which said to replace the thermostat but this shop said they had to run a diagnostic for $60. Then they told me what I already knew. The thermostat needed to be replaced... I get it, they probably needed to check for liability reasons. The only reason I had them fix my car was because I had already invested $60 and didn’t want to run around town to another shop. A $87 part cost $458 to replace. Bummer. Then they told me there is something wrong with the lifters- but they wanted $60 to run another diagnostic. I was going to have them do it, but then I was told it would actually be $275 to check on it because of other things they had to do. I don’t speak “car” but Wow! That’s crazy. Did I just wake up this week to find out I signed up for the Expensive Party called “life” or is this over priced. So I told them “no.” The warranty is for 2 years/24k miles, which is good, but I’ll be looking for another shop.

Something I really like is that when they inspect a vehicle they take a bunch of pictures and turn it into a detailed report that’s easy to read. Great place! They were all very nice and professional, I loved how they updated me and the detailed report I got. It did take longer than they first said, but it also cost less than they originally quoted me. Im super happy with the end result, and will definitely go to them again.

Took my car in and was told itd be $120 for an inspection. I told them specifically what part was the issue and what the symptoms were. Technician was unable to reproduce the issue and never inspected the part which I told them was the problem. I showed the problem to the receptionist and she immediately realized the technician messed up. I was asked if I would like to leave the car overnight or come drop it off again the next morning but was not offered a loaner car or help with the Uber costs. I was then given a very expensive quote on the repair. When I called them back asked them for a price breakdown there was suddenly two different prices but I was only quoted the more expensive one and there was no mention that it might be cheaper. Save your time and money and go somewhere which wont overcharge you and will listen to you. Its also worth noting that they have a suspiciously large number of almost exclusively 5 star reviews. Take that how you want but I choose trinity because of their good reviews and found out that if it looks too good to be true, it is.Edit To Respond to Owners Response:1. I did not mention the headlight fix for the sake of brevity as this review is about the problems I had with Trinity with the brake booster inspection.2. I paid for the headlight replacement but you were more than happy to charge me $120 for an inspection that found nothing until I asked the receptionist to come out to my car. After demonstrating the problem to her the story changed (the issue was pretty obvious).3. You did not charge me for the brake booster inspection in which your mechanic definitely did not inspect the brake booster (the receptionist brought out another mechanic and he confirmed it was the brake booster in less than 2 minutes). My problem is that I dropped the car off for an inspection and *EXPLICITLY* named what part was the problem and the symptoms and the inspection found nothing and then eagerly tried to charge me for it. I dont know if this was a miscommunication between the person who I talked to and the mechanic, a mistake, incompetence, or just poor standards and frankly it doesnt matter all that much but regardless of why, you were perfectly happy to try to charge me for the inspection.4. I was *NOT* told about multiple prices, I was given one price and one price only. I was only told about the multiple prices AFTER I called and asked for a price breakdown. I understand giving the customer the worst case but my problem with this is a lack of price transparency.It is also worth noting I was told there are 2 different parts and I was also told that there was no way to know which version my car used until they got into the car and took the part out. It would be very convenient if there was, say, a button in the center console of the car which turns the optional feature on/off if it is installed. If such a, purely hypothetical of course, button existed, it would be very nice if information about said buttons existence was easily found on google or in the cars manual and if bad auto mechanic shops would do some research before quoting prices. Although I guess knowing about the buttons existence is kinda pointless because the brake booster was never inspected to begin with although it raises questions about the quality of the auto shop.

Trinity put my wife in a dangerous truck after keeping our vehicle for way too long and over charging us. Were new to the area and wanted to support a small local business. Find a good mechanic for our car and truck and be regulars there. But Billy at Trinity sure did F us over. He charged almost $800 for a brake job, and was going to charge another $700+ for a wheel bearing. He had the truck for 5 FULL DAYS and only got the brakes done before calling and saying he didnt have the right socket for the bearing and it would be another 2 full days. So they told her she could drive the truck with a failing bearing which is WILDLY UNSAFE. Truck drove significantly worse after picking it up. Went to Les Schwabs (not a fan of big businesses) but they got the bearing done in 1 day for $350- and let us know that they could have done the brakes for $500.*Response: You had the truck from Thursday at 8:30 am until Monday at 5 pm; the scheduled time to have ALL the work done was actually Monday morning. That special tool was something you could have and should have known about by Friday at the very latest. A very simple google search would have told your Master Certified Technicians that they needed to order the tool but you didnt even look at the bearing until Monday afternoon, after the scheduled completion time AND after we called. AND we were placed on hold for 9 minutes to get a status update where we were then told it would be 2 full more days to get the work done. I am happy to pay more at a local company than a chain. But damn near double the price and triple the time is ridiculous.

Most shops you go to say it sounds like this,it could be that, and before you know it, youre paying to have 3 or 4 things fixed and get your car back and theres still problems. This shop takes the guess work out of repairs. I was visually shown the issue,explained step by step on the repairs and they got the job done faster than expected. Steve and his team has definitely earned my trust and any future repairs I may need. Cost of repairs were competitive to other shops, speed of service was phenomenal,theyre absolutely professional and know what they are talking about. My vehicle is my income and they got me back on the road and safe in a hurry. I cant say enough good things about Trinitys. I definitely recommend checking out this locally owned hidden gem for all your cars needs.

Our 2006 Odyssey had a BAD wobble, but these guys fixed it (after other mechanics tried and failed). They were fast, professional, confident, and successful!

Am very happy with service provided, my only caveat is the price I was charged for a serpentine belt was nearly three times what I could have bought it for at an auto parts store. Check what theyll charge for parts before agreeing. Otherwise, I fully endorse their business.

I never get tired of saying good things about Trinity’s Auto Care! I’m in my 40’s—I’ve seen a lot of mechanics—but Trinity’s Auto Care is the first shop I’ve ever visited, that felt like I was working with my own family. Remember back in the day, when an MD doctor would know you from childhood to adulthood? They know me and my vehicles like that, and they literally never fail me! All the traits that one would hope for in a mechanic are there—honesty, integrity, professionalism, skill, transparency. Billy has basically ventured to Narnia, to find obscure, discontinued parts for me and my weird automobile choices, and I don’t know how many times Jessica has shuttled me to work while my vehicle was being repaired. Steve, the owner, has even shuttled me to work under the same circumstances! They’re just great people. Every diagnostic is accompanied with a detailed explanation of their findings, which is clearly categorized and easy to understand. I always feel well informed when I’m making repair decisions. After finding a shop like Trinity’s, I’ll never take my vehicles anywhere else!

Customer Service is top notch and I feel like I am getting honest answers and not taken for unnecessary work. They have a great location in South Salem and a new location in Turner which is great! Since moving to South Salem, Ive been looking for a good mechanic to use. Trinity did an incredible job with my car. They provide good, straightforward service and let me know a clear amount of what I could expect to pay. They worked quickly and even texted me when the repairs were complete. I will be going back to them for my automotive needs in the future, and am already recommending them to my friends and family.

I was able to call them on a Monday morning right before New Years and they were able to get my truck in right away find out the issue with it and order the parts for repair. Van needed a ton of work and I had heard that Trinitys is the best. Decided to give them a try as I have had mixed results and have read many mixed reviews of the auto mechanics in Dallas. I could easily make this a 10 page review explaining how they do a very complete evaluation of your vehicle and take lots of digital pictures of the status and conditions of all of the results. Then they email you the pictures with no-nonsense explanations and recommendations. They itemize your vehicles needs as to the priority of any needed repairs....ie.....everything from needing attention to critical needs. Then they let you decide which, if any, of the needs that they will perform, (no pressure). Up front about the prices and quality of parts they use. I would highly recommend them....Very HONEST!!!!!

My first time here. Outstanding customer support and service! I especially liked the complimentary inspections with pictures to view of the part/s being discussed and why the recommendation was provided. I havent seen that anywhere else. Everything was explained in detail to include the cost of the work being done. The work actually came out less than quoted which is always a pleasant surprise when having auto repairs being done. It usually happens the other way around. One of the shocks wasnt acting right in my 02 Tundra and they decided to warranty the product they just installed out, I think most places would have just sent me on my way. Trinitys is A1 in my book and has earned my business! Great job guys! Thanks again for the quality work provided!

Very friendly place and fast! I was able to take my car in when I called right at 8 am that same day and completely fixed by the next day. Friendly staff and could tell they were knowledgable. I pulled my Jeep from one shop to this shop because I was being down talked to and attempted to be tricked into extra services. Took my Jeep here and never once felt like I was being talked to like a female that knew nothing about cars. Didn’t feel like they were pushing “much needed” extra services on me either. Will definitely come back if need be!

I had a great experience here and will definitely return when the time comes. We just did a basic service and brakes on my old gen1 Tundra. I was kept in the loop the entire time and they were able to knock it out the same day. This isnt one of those places where theyre trying to upsell you on a bunch of stuff either. At Trinity’s Quality Auto Care, you will get a detailed and thorough inspection/service report that you can access at anytime online. The staff are professional and courteous. The last time I brought my Chevy in they said they couldn’t guarantee to have it done by Friday. I could tell they were very busy. Sure enough they had it fixed and ready to go after a test drive before 5:00pm on Friday. They also always seem to follow up to make sure everything is working properly.

Although my appointment at the Salem location couldnt be done due to staff shortage, the Turner location took me right away and provided quick, thorough service and a very comprehensive assessment of the car. Would return again.

Trinitys saved my car!! My regular mechanic diagnosed my PT as having a broken head gasket. They told me that the repairs would cost over $3000.00. They recommended scrapping the car and getting new vehicle all together. Trinitys thoroughly went through the engine, taking two days to do the initial diagnostic. They assessed that it was not the head gasket but a leaking intake manifold--which was highly fixable. They gave me a reasonable, and MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE estimate. When the final bill came in the total was LESS than the original estimate!! Amazing!!! My little car now runs perfectly and has years of life left in it. Thank you Trinity!!

I just moved to Salem and needed to find a local, knowledgeable, and trustworthy mechanic. After searching online and reading a bunch of google and yelp reviews, I found Trinity Quality Auto Care. I called them up for a consult, and I’m so glad I did!As a woman who doesn’t know a lot about cars, I take quality customer service seriously when it comes to mechanics. I’ve been frustrated & burned in the past by condescending technicians with poor customer service skills, or those who try to bill for things you don’t need. Not so at Trinity!!The mechanics at Trinity were kind and professional from start to finish. They listened to my questions, took the time to explain their diagnostic process and recommended services within my budget. All with kindness, patience, and expertise. These guys are the real deal! Even the tow truck driver and a local friend both praised their services when I said I was taking my car to Trinity.I’m very happy to say I’ve found my new mechanics at Trinity Quality Auto Care. I highly recommend them!

Professional, came in under estimate.

Steve and his crew were able to get me in for an appointment quickly. They listened to my concerns, made quality recommendations, were transparent about pricing and had great in-person customer service. The team also took the time to explain things to me in terms that I could understand. I liked that we were able to communicate by text and that I got a very thorough email follow-up noting the status of my car and the work, pictures included. My only negatives are that the lot is very busy/full and its a bit difficult to know where you should park. I would also like an improved web scheduling platform where I could actually pick times to bring my car in for general maintenance things like oil changes. Regardless, I am very pleased, and am excited to have found a mechanic that I can trust to the long term care of my car. I look forward to being a regular.

These guys did a full (free) vehicle inspection from top to bottom, notifying me of all the minor to even more serious repairs needing to be adressed. I would say their staff is quite detail oriented and thorough all around. Nice work!

I love the way these folks take care of me. I know they are honest and are always more than fair. Its not easy finding people of this quality, I would not go not go anywhere else.

Had ad unusual shifting problem with my van. I thought it was a transmission issue so I took it to a transmission shop. They said it was an electrical problem and recommended I take it to a specialist. I asked around and and got recommendations to take it to Trinity. They quoted me $110.00 to $165.00 to dig into it and report what needed to be done. They diagnosed it and only changed me $54.00. They could have easily called and said they needed more time and I would have authorized it. What an honest shop. Great service!

I just recently moved to Salem and I needed to get a new starter on my Toyota Corolla and Trinity’s did excellent work. I walked in and they gave me a quick estimate on what it would cost and then I dropped it off the next day and it was done under 2 hours. They even finished the work early so it cost less than the total estimate. I would recommend this place for any car repairs and I will be coming back here again for my future repairs.

Ive taken my car to Trinitys Quality Auto Care twice now. The first time I took my car in, it needed a bunch of work. The team at Trinitys really worked fast to try to get my car done in one day, as I live in Corvallis and did not have a ride back. They ordered all the parts that they thought they would need pretty quickly. The second time I took my car to Trinitys, I had to get my power steering topped off. I had an appointment in Portland later that day so I stressed that to the owner, Steve. He immediately got on of his guys working on my car and had me in and out of the shop in around 30-45 minutes. I really recommend Trinitys Quality Auto Care. They do care for the people who come in and try their absolute best to make every experience a good one.
