I am very pleased with the way we were treated! Very professional! We were told it would be a few days before they could diagnosed it, that was on Monday, on Tuesday we were told what the issue was. They fixed it the very next day and had it back to us on Wednesday. I will definitely be putting great referrals to you when I hear of someone looking for a mechanic! Joes Auto was amazing. They had our Van for almost 3 months working on it everyday trying to figure out what was wrong with it. In the end Rob (an employee of Joes) called me up and informed me they could not figure it out, and that Joe hates to give up on a vehicle. Joe had put a few parts in the van to see if that was the problem. Not a one of them worked. He did not charge me for them nor the labor to put them in. In the end Joe decided to put a kill switch in the vehicle (it was drawing power for no reason). He only charged me for the parts for the kill switch and the labor to put it in (2 hrs.). He only charged me 2 hrs of labor after working on my van for almost 3 months! They are reasonably priced as well. I WILL be going back to Joes in the future for my other vehicles. I recommend whoever reads this review gives them a shot. They are very friendly and will keep you updated frequently. Customer service is HUGE for me, and they have it!

From the first time I called the guys at Joes Auto Service were great! They did a full inspection of my truck and emailed me a detailed breakdown of everything it needed with photos! They have lots of advanced technology to pin point problems and make sure the right thing is being fixed from the beginning. Rob answered every question I had and they got the work done on time at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend them and the quality of their work.

I have used their services twice now and would recommend them to anybody! Honest, kind and trustworthy doesnt always go hand in hand with auto mechanics in my opinion but these guys are that and more. Theyve been in business for almost 30 years and theres a reason why. Great financing options if you need it and if your vehicle is broke down at home he will bring his mobile shop to it, diagnos and have it towed for much cheaper than the factory or a tow company would charge independently. Joe and Rob have been excellent to work with. They do not pressure you with when work needs to be done and work hard to get quality parts for the best price. Joe provided us with a quote and contacted my husband later with a lower price offer on a part. We feel we are in good hands with this shop.

Can’t recommend Joes enough! Rob, whom I was talking to, not only managed to get me sheduled in last minute for a pre purchase inspection but was super helpful with all my extra needs and questions to check specific things on the car that I wanted to have an extra look at. The report they send me via email was very detailed and included pictures of all relevant parts + detailed pictures of the areas I specifically asked for. Had me towed there in the morning and figured out what the problem was and installed a new starter ready to go by the end of the day. Put in a brand new starter and not a refurbished one too. Very impressed. Would take my vehicle back to Joes.

SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAMI had my car towed there to remove the bolt and change the timing belt. The guy calls me the next day before they start working on it to say hes going to have to machine the engine head cause he got me mixed up with someone who already had theirs machined. I said I didnt want any work done on the head gasket. He said their name was on the job and that this was part of the procedure and that they wouldnt do it without it. I said they didnt need to access the head gasket for the job and that I didnt want it to be done. He said they could not to the head gasket but that it might not run right afterwards. I told them to not start the job because I was gonna call someone else. So I call someone else, and then call the original guys back and tell them that Ill be towing the vehicle to pick it up. He starts pleading with me that he got me mixed up with a different girl who was having her head gasket done and that it was a simple mixup. I told him I questioned his credibility and didnt trust that he knew that this job would even do anything for the car and said Id hold off on the tow until they checked the timing on it. So he said hed call me back in the morning.The next day, he doesnt call. I have to call two times and dont get in touch til near the end of the business day. When I do talk to him, he said the timing was fine and that i owed him money tmfor they labor they already started on the project, plus the diagnostic for looking at the belt. I said I explicitly stated that no work was to be done during the first phone call he made to me on the previous day as well as the subsequent phone call and that if they did labor then thats on them. Started fighting about it. They increased their prices. The owner called me with a differentstory. the dude called me again with a different story. Then I got a voice mail from the owner saying that they did something they didnt need to do (that they had never mentioned either) and that they would absorb that cost (basically trying to trick me into thinking theyre meeting me halfway) but that I stilled owed me for the labor of removing the engine mount (which is now broken). I called them back and said I never told them to take off the engine mount and that im in a worse place than when I started because now Ive got to buy a new kount which is almost 200 bucks and that really they owe me money but that I want to just call it square. They said they werent budging. And now theyve seized my car til I pay the 300 bucks for doing nothing but breaking my engine mount. So Im out 500 bucks for taking it to these guys and literally leaving with nothing but a broken engine mount (worse situation than when I started).

Joe does great work and I highly recommend him if you are looking for an honest company.

I dont know where or how this place got its high ratings, but i took it as a good sign and called joe to schedule an appointment. He was booked out a week but seven days later he arrived at my se salem home an hour late to do some brake work to my camaro. In the end run he collapsed a brake line and stripped out the inside of a brand new wheel cylinder before clipping the broken cylinder to my car, charging me 60.00 and leaving with out finishing the job.... like i said i have no clue where they bought there 5 star rating from, but they should atleast call me to try and make it right....
