I cannot say enough good things about Al & his team!! I have been with State Farm for 16 years now and that is truly all because of Al DeBacker & his team!! They treat you like family. I was in a bad accident several years ago and they went above and beyond to take care of me and handle the process so professionally & seamlessly!! It was so comforting to have them helping me with that awful event - they were on top of everything and took care of it all!! You pray youre never in an accident, but when you are, the quality of your insurance provider is everything!! That event solidified that I would never switch to any other subpar provider ever. I have also been with other State Farm agents out of state and I will say, HANDS DOWN Al Debackers team is the best there is!!

Al DeBacker and his team have given me one of the best customer service experiences to date. I purchase both auto and renters insurance from Al DeBacker. Not only has he worked diligently to provide me with the best possible policies to fit my needs, he has also maintained consistent and thoughtful communication with regards to these policies. Additionally, his office staff is knowledgeable and friendly.Although I have never needed to file an insurance claim, I am confident that if I ever did, Al and his team would be immediately responsive. I hope Al stays in the insurance game for a while, because I cant imagine working with any other agent.

Both he and his staff are great. Once our circuit breaker was arching, we contacted him as to whether it was covered, he was surprised it was, with a deductible. We have had other things through them beside regular insurances. We had kept our original state farm agent in Portland after we moved to Salem in 1993 until we chose AL once we found out about him in 2000.
