Ben was hired in May 2021 to install a cap and chimney liner. Speaking with him, he seemed very knowledgeable and confident that he could get the job done in a few weeks. After several dates were set and several no shows (due to various excuses), I tried to work with Ben to set a definite date that he could show up and get the work done. I understand that life happens and things come up, but Bens excuses seemed more like lies than actual mishaps. After many texts and calls were not responded to in attempt to resolve the issue, I texted Ben telling him I will be posting a negative review and pursuing other options in order to get my refund. And what do you know, Ben responded! Similar to his responses to other reviews, he put the blame on me and said I was at fault for not communicating. What business does not text/call back their customers and then blame them for bad communication? I have never been treated so poorly by a business. Just give me and these other people their money back, Ben!

Remove and repair turned to throw some mortar on the old crown..Now its cracking and I have to remove 2 layers and redo myself. Was hired to add a reclaim for a stove pipe..took 250 and never showed back up. Dont give him a penny until job is done. I would recommend not even calling..youre better off going to the casino and betting whatever hes going to charge you on red..your odds of winning are better than him showing up and doing the job right or at all.

Scam company. This guy takes your money and never comes back. He says he will refund your deposit but he doesnt. He will give you every excuse he can think of as to why he cant come do the work.....and then boom he will stop responding to your calls and texts.

Deserves zero stars. Worst person i have ever delt with. Worst contractor.. never shows up on time or show up period. 1 day job turned into a 10 day job and still never returned to finish. Hes full of excuses. In my opinion ben is a waste of skin. I am imbarassed i hired him without reading the reveiws first. Cost me more money in fixing what damages he caused then if i would of hired a real competent person

Response to you- What details? The ones where we paid you to do a job you havent done and kept not showing up? Or the details about how we have asked you repeatedly for our deposit back and you have completely ignored us. Or wait are you talking about the details on how you keep saying youll refund us then never respond to our texts and will ONLY respond when I leave a review on here? Which detail because im confused. Everything ive stated is truthful and I am 100% willing to show anyone with questions about this situation the texts and receipts so they can avoid this exact situation you have put us in.

Our chimney was cleaned and a deposit put down on a chimney pillow that the owner said would be in the following week, that was a month ago. My husband has been in contact with the owner who said the pillow came in and he would install so an appointment was made, he didn’t call or show. We then requested he just drop the pillow off, since we paid for it, it wasn’t and now the owner isn’t answering our phone calls. I do not recommend this company, poor customer service and after googling chimney pillows I’m pretty sure he charged us twice what they cost and I can do it myself.

I would gladly use BG again! He returned my call right away, is reasonably priced and is thorough. He repaired my chimney crown and front porch within a great time-frame.

To your response- Prove it. Post the receipt of the return then. Please im begging you to prove me wrong. I told you once you refund our money then I will adjust the reviews to show you finally did. Until then I got time to warn other people that you follow dont through and dont refund money on a job never done. And once again we only cancelled the work after it took you 3 months, 4 excuses and 2 no shows. Tell the whole story Ben.Dont go through this company unless you enjoy being ripped off and having to drag yourself down to the courts to file for small claims. If you give him a deposit you are taking a chance of him either not showing up or not giving you the money back even after running you around for 4 months and giving you every possible excuse to not do the job or drop off your refund. Shouldve listened to the other reviews and avoided this guy but hindsight is 20/20. Do yourself a HUGE favor and find a different company!!!To your response- We have called and texted you MULTIPLE times. Why are you acting like we havent? Is it to save face? To late dude. Just give us our money back for a job you never completed. Also, if anyone seeing this wants to see the receipts and texts from this guy proving he is ripping people off let me know I got a lot of em!

Benjamen did an excellent job repairing our chimney. He is excellent at what he does. He keeps you informed as to what he is doing and completed the repair under the quoted price. I would definitely call him again and highly recommend him.

I was originally impressed with the work, but job is unfinished and I am tired of trying to contact, or when I do contact the business owner is asking who I am. At this point lets call it a wash and the money I paid is a lesson learned for me, since the original job was in October 2020!

Benjamin came out yesterday morning to clean our chimney. He arrived within the time window he agreed to, and promptly climbed up to begin cleaning. He cleaned both the chimney and the firebox, and pointed out a few issues he had observed. The chimney has never been that clean. He did a great job!

Well.....almost 3 weeks ago we were supposed to have new gutters put on our house by this company. Every single day it was excuse after excuse, and the job was never done. So we asked for our deposit back. We have been txting everyday for weeks now, and yet again excuse after excuse. This morning we were told his wife was going to the bank and then he was driving from Cheasaning. Here we go again, texting him and no response. I guess Monday morning my attorney will contact him. Im done having him play games with my fiance. I highly recommend you to avoid this company. The only way he responds quickly when reviews gets posted. Hell I will even drive to him to get our deposit back. Sounds like others have been in our position.

Great communication while setting up the appointment. Went above and beyond while performing the maintenance to my chimney and took the time to explain how to use the chimney since it was my first time having one. Very reasonably priced and I will definitely be using them in the future.

Ben was very nice and cleaned up afterward. I would definitely recommend him.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I gave him $200.00 down payment to do the project, then I never heard from him again after giving him the money. He came up with a different excuse everyday. His truck broke down, his wife was in the hospital, he had to pick up his kid, he hurt his hand, he had to deal with a rental agency. I have a list of text messages that go on and on. He tried telling me he already started the project, when in fact he did not. I do not write reviews, but this is my first one in hopes of saving someone their money. Please call someone else!

Benjamen was great at answering the phone, and scheduling to come out and get the work done the next day. And thankfully for texting we were able to message back and forth regarding the issue, and I was able to give him an idea of what to expect. I really appreciate the fact he took time to explain what he was going to do, and then after explained a few other issues he found and wrote a quote right then to have that work done.He was overall very professional, friendly and knowledgeable! I highly recommend him to anyone with gutter or chimney issues! Or if you haven’t ever had your chimney looked at, call him!
