Kara did an excellent job with my manzilian, nose, and brows. One of the fastest and least painful services I’ve had in 10+ years. Didn’t take too much off my brows and completed everything else with ease. Fair prices, clean facilities, and well staffed- so a short notice Friday appointment was possible unlike a lot of other places.

Clean, fast, friendly, and solidly inclusive. Every esthetician Ive had here has been good at what they do, easy to talk to, and helpful!Plus, the results have been better and the experience more comfortable than at other salons.Last but not least? Theyre totally inclusive, happy to wax anything on anyone, without gender restrictions or markups. Solid five stars.

Called for a same day appointment and they got me in right away. I had Francis and she was beyond great! She made me feel very comfortable and at ease, super fun conversation! (If she ever reads this, i hope she finds out why the hair down there is thicker than the rest!) the receptionist was very laid back and kind. It’s a nice vibe they have going on in there.

Sleek Wax Bar is fantastic! The location is welcoming and clean, and the waxers are really friendly, efficient, and thorough. Im always happy with the results. Ive booked appointments with Jasmine, Alyssa, and Berit and theyve all been really great--Im sure the other employees are awesome too. I also love that they offer a membership plan--it makes waxing way more affordable.

My waxing was fine. They need to work more on wearing masks at their main desk and while walking around. I was not happy that the lady who was doing my waxing wasnt compliant and I had to point it out to her.

I go here once a month. The membership is worth it if you get two services a visit. Ive been going to Sleek for years, since 2016 or so.My waxer is Jasmine! Shes lovely and the sweetest! She cares about your skin.

Waxers are very professional and efficient. The major issue is inflexible scheduling. Parking is a nightmare so I usually give myself plenty of time to get there. This has led to me arriving up to 30 minutes early, and they’ve never been able to accommodate this. Major suggestion to either have staff available for walk-Ins—which they advertise— to allow for greater flexibility.

Just came back from having my first Brazilian done and it was soo bloody AWESOME! It didn’t even hurt at all. Frances is such a lovely soul and made me feel comfortable explained everything and gave me an awesome first experience. Great location, great front desk service, great music, overall great experience, I’ll definitely be back!

The girls here are awesome. Fast, painless waxing. They make you comfortable so its like going for any old appointment. Highly recommended if you need waxing done

I went to Madison and she’s great! She listens to what you want and carefully took her time on my brows. She’s fun to talk to and makes waxing go by fast. I would definitely go to her again!

I have a membership here and its so worth it. I only see Jasmin and shes amazing! I can always get appointments when i need them and the staff is friendly and I never have to wait because they book their appointments to allow enough time. Great place!!

Arrived 8 minutes later and got kicked out, such stress for such delicate task doesn’t seem right for me. I’m sorry but I hope this kind of places with this attitudes won’t prosper

I love Sleek! Everyone is always so kind and their wax is so gentle on my sensitive skin. Sleek Wax Bar conveniently located in Midtown and parking is never a problem. Every time I go theres a friendly face waiting to greet me and the person waxing me is always helpful by providing pointers and suggestions based on my needs. Such a great new place!

I went in for a couple different waxes. I needed my brow, lip, under arms, and Brazilian - Bri did amazing! Talked me through the whole process how to upkeep and take care of my skin. So happy I chose to come this place.

I used to live in Sacramento, but moved away a year ago. I visit every couple months and make a point of going to Sleek. I love their work, the environment, and their mission so much that I purposefully wait to get my eyebrows waxed until I can go there. Katie is incredible! All the sleekologists are great, but Katie is my girl!

Kelly is very gentle, and does a perfect job waxing my chest every time I see her. Always a pleasant experience. Id recommend anyone thats hesitant to go see her!

I have had an absolute TERRIBLE experience with this establishment and have not even received a service. Not once, but twice and for two days in a row, my wax appointment was NOT booked. Yesterday I was told my appointment was not in the system and you were closing early because there were no appointments in the system, so I reschedule my appointment for today, and when I get here AGAIN my appointment is not in the system and the esthetician would not perform the service because you close at 7 when your website clearly says you close at 8. Two days in a row I have wasted my time and been inconvenienced because of poor customer service habits. I had every intention on signing up for your loyalty program but I am seriously considering never visiting this establishment again if this is the way you treat your customers. TERRIBLE!

I have used Britni several times and she has always been friendly, professional and fast. Too bad I won’t be using her services anymore. Jordan at the front desk refused to let me in the building because I was 2 minutes late. I called ahead saying i was going to be tardy and was willing to pay and tip extra. Jordan was incredulous at me being 2 minutes late and even though I was begging to let me in she refused. I am a small business owner in Sac and would never treat my customers the way i was just treated. It’s a difficult task to build a successful small business and it is sad that this policy and employee would rather lose customers, receive bad reviews, suffer the consequences of negative social media attention instead of being a welcoming company, forgiving me for being TWO minutes late. I love supporting local businesses but cannot in good conscience ever recommend a company that would put policy over people.

I have always had a wonderful time with their sleekologist Britni and always had a pleasant experience but Ive decided to no longer use this business as I find their front desk to be rude. I had an appointment in 10 minutes that I was going to be late to so I decided to call and notify them that I would probably not make the appointment considering that it looked like there was an accident on the freeway since all 4 lanes were not moving. I was initially calling to reschedule since I figured I wasnt going to make it. The conversation with Lexi (their front desk person) was pleasant at first as she checked to see if there was open time that day but found that they were booked for the day; I had no issues with that. By this time, the cars blocking the road was able to pull over because we started moving again. She asked if I wanted to reschedule or cancel the appointment. I told her that it looked like the cars were moving again so I wanted to try to see if I could make it in time and was cut off with her telling me that unfortunately, they were full that day and that they have a 5 minute cancellation policy if you are late. I told her I wanted to see if I could make it though and if I couldnt make it in time, that I would be fine with rescheduling another time but I got cut off again when I asked about seeing if I could make it. She again said that they have a 5 minute late policy and if I wanted to cancel or reschedule the appointment. At this time, I was frustrated with her cutting me off before I could explain that I wanted to try to see if I could make it but if I couldnt that would be alright if I was late. I asked her to cancel the appointment and that I would get back to her. After about 5 minutes of mulling things over, I decided that it was time to cut the purse strings as this was not the first time Ive had rude and curt responses with the front desk so I called back and talked with Lexi again to have her cancel my membership and that I would be taking my business elsewhere. She asked me why I wanted to and I stated that I just did not want to do business anymore with them. She asked if it was due to the 5 minute cancellation policy but I told her it had nothing to do with that. She asked again and I said it was due to the fact that she was being curt and short with me. I told her that I was trying to see if I could make it there within the late policy window but that she had told me that they had a 5 minute late policy and if I wanted to either cancel or reschedule the appointment even though I wanted to see if I could make it. I asked her again to please cancel my membership with them. She then proceeds to explain that she did not mean to make it seem like I couldnt come in and then proceeds to tell me that they cannot accomodate me if Im more than 5 minutes late. I told her that I understood her and that I was fine with not being able to see my sleekologist if I was late but I wanted to see if I could at least try to make the appointment. I told her regardless to please cancel my membership. She again begins to tell me that they cannot see me if Im late because then that would make everyone else late for their appointment. Again I told her, the reason for me cancelling had nothing to do with the 5 minute cancellation policy and with her being curt with me and before I could finish my sentence, she tells me very briskly and quickly have a great rest of your day and goodbye and hangs up, further proving to me that I made the right choice in ending my business with them.Its unfortunate but I enjoyed the sleekologists that work there, however, this is a business and all members of your staff represent your business. If the front of the house is rude, curt, and short with people while the back of the house is awesome, Im still not going to continue to patronize their business. Its a shame as I enjoyed going there for the 18 months that I was going there but its time for a change I guess.
