Wish I could have my time and money back. These people dont know what theyre doing, nor a care for the experiences theyre entrusted with. Do not come here.

Horrible. These terrible ill-informed, poorly trained people shouldnt be let near anyone seeking support. Theyre going to get someone killed one day with their awful advice. I wasnt expecting much considering the sliding scale pricing, but golly I still have regrets spending the money I did here. And it really speaks volumes on society that this is the best that can be provided to demographics that are not so well off. Hmm.

More like NOPE counseling. I should have listened to the negative reviews, because upon closer inspection, Ive realized...there are a lot of either one-star or five-star reviews. And, on the chance that you managed to have a good experience here, one thing to realize is that...this place is definitely not worth FIVE stars. I would suspect that the folks here peddle their successful clients for good reviews.Otherwise, the counselors here are all in training with barely any worldly experience to pull from in order to properly empathize with you. Ive read a few reviews about counselors here being judgmental or pushy, and my experience was the same.On the other hand, the negative reviews are nearly unhinged. They sound angry, and hurt-- and yes, mentally ill. Reading through the filtered reviews on Yelp was disturbing at times, and some of the one star reviews here are of similar vein. If this is how those people, people who are sick and in obvious need of a safe place, come out of their sessions, I have low expectations for how these counselors continue with their careers.Its a shame how much time and money I wasted here. Ive made better progress healing by use of podcasts (by more experienced therapists), online communities of others who have shared my experiences and issues, and medicinal Ayahuasca retreats. Do be very discriminative of who you allow to access your mental health. Your ability to recover hinges on this.

I’ve had a great experience at HOPE counseling. Not every therapist works for every person, and if you are going to therapy with no results, find a different person! Thankfully there are multiple counselors at HOPE and I found one that I connect with very well. The facility is comfortable and clean, and the people I’ve interacted with are polite and genuine.

Dont bother. They will handle your trauma with such upsetting blitheness and dismiss and minimize any concerns you bring in. The therapists here only stay to fulfill required hours and out something nice on their resumes, and it shows in their approach.

STAY AWAY. THEY WILL RUIN YOU. THE GOOD REVIEWS HAVE ALL BEEN BRAINWASHED. DO NOT TRUST.

The best therapy ever! Anna is amazing! - **** since this past review Anna isnt there anymore and i am purplexed that my therapy notes did not go with her for my file. There is no way i would use anybody else. So why not release them? Hopefully they will give me my own copies since by law i am entitled. Lets call and find out.. we will see.

After over 18 months of family therapy with no improvement or results. I went to therapy alone, thats where I found out that I was dealing with a covert malignant narcissist. And my addiction to this person was very strong. Not once in hope counseling did they mention narcissism (I didnt know what it was). Over 1,500$ is nothing compared to the cost to my health. Its impossible to try to reason with a narcissist and hope should have seen that right away. Thanks for robbing me and leaving me for dead!

I am very happy with my therapist. She is very intelligent and easy to talk to.

I was able to see someone quickly, and I feel I can work with Susan. She had good resources and understanding. I plan to go back

No therapy, is better than bad therapy. Is it worth the risk, allowing a poorly supervised student help you? An inability to recognize emotional abuse left my house metaphorically on fire! To escape the uncomfortable living situation that went unresolved at hope. One member of the house vacationed in Sonoma County with relatives. A literal wild fire forced a 1 am evacuation. The dangers of bad therapy are real.

Poor results, and ended up walking out with more of a complex than I had walking in.

A waist of time and money, going to hope made things worse
