Casey at the Galleria store knows a lot - very helpful - lots of free advice

Took my MacBook here after my screen wasn’t working because of an issue with my black light. I didn’t want to take it to the AppleStore because I felt like they aren’t much help so decided to bring it to Core Care and I’m glad I did! Brian was super helpful and fixed my laptop super quick. I didn’t have to wait weeks to get it back. I would definitely recommend this place!

Great service and friendly staff. Definitely a less crowded and more personable experience than the bigger store for the same services. The guy in charge is very nice.

Core AppleCare was a completely wonderful experience. Apart from the pleasant welcome that I received when I got there, my product was clean and shiny on delivery. I was also treated with some well-needed advice on what else to do to make my Apple computer ownership more appreciated.

When the screen on my wifes relatively new 16-inch MacBook Pro displayed an array of crazy colors and appeared to have a small crack that was causing it, we assumed it was the result of it slipping out of her hands a couple of weeks before.Our natural inclination was to take it to the Apple Store at Arden Fair, but the last time I was there it was really complicated because of COVID-19. So I took a chance on Core Care based on the stellar reviews. So glad I did.I was met at the front desk by the owner, Casey, who was filling in for the regular person. We had a nice long chat about stuff– not just the laptop– and he said because we hadnt purchase Apple Care, the screen replacement could cost about $800. Gulp.Then he did some research and thought he might be able to get Apple to cover the replacement anyway because it was a single crack and did not appear to be caused by any abuse.A week or so later they texted me to come and pick up the MacBook Pro with a new screen. NO CHARGE.That is what we call great customer service.

The young lady that answered the phone has no clue about anything and the technicians are all too busy to be bothered with a question. Simply just trying to find out what the price would be on upgrading memory. Very poor customer service.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! Truly if you have a machine problem, take it to Core Care. I came in on a Tuesday afternoon a few weeks ago, and I was helped immediately. My Macbook Air had suddenly died the previous evening and was not responsive to any of my attempts at resuscitation. Within 20 minutes, my laptop was up and running again and a diagnostic test was run. I was out of there with a perfectly functioning machine and they didnt charge me a dollar! All of that labor and help all for FREE. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

True, honest people! I went into get a liquid spill check and they were extremely friendly and gave me a very detailed explanation on what was wrong and gave me professional, unbiased advice! I would recommend Core care to ANYONE who owns apple products! BY FAR BETTER than the apple store! Great service & great people.

Customer service is impeccable! Had a nightmare with my Imac and needed it to be working before college starts. Casey fixed it no problem and he was so polite and managed to fix it while we were there and put a new operating system on my iMac and now it works perfect! Almost like a new computer!!! Will recomend to anyone who wants the best service and best prices around!

They kept my Mac air for over a month only to tell me that the parts eroded because it’s a liquid spill. You knew it was a liquid spill and you didn’t look into into it right away and let it sit there for a month????

Amazing customer service, but a little bit expensive!

Ive been there 3 times for 3 different machines. These people know their stuff and are kind and courteous while getting the job done. Theyre the go to people for all mac repair needs. Prices are great and service is fast.

Great repair and service provider. I would recommend them for ANY Apple product issues. My older MacBook Pro had a hardware issue and I took it in. They were very fast and efficient and communicated very clearly. For example, when the replacement part arrived they texted me, then that the replacement didnt fix the issue so the tech needed to look further, then about 20 minutes later texting they had found the issue, had a different spare part on hand, fixed it and it would be ready in about 30 minutes. Price was VERY reasonable. Plus, no need to wait in line for a Genius Bar at the nearby Apple store. Ill definitely return for any service issues that come up

Very helpful. Chris and Jason were great and did not over charge me for their services on my MacBook Pro. Would definitely recommend them before even thinking about going to an Apple Store. If i ever have any Mac issues again I will definitely be going back to Core Care!

Couldnt take care of or fix the problem with the computer

Ive used these guys a number of times over there years...some mostly warranty repairs, but some paid repairs too. And they are Apple Certified and connected, so they can pull up your computers warranty status including your Applecare plan. They do great work, fast, friendly and knowledgeable.For me, theres no decision to make between them and an Apple Store. Schedule an appointment with a so called Genius at the Apple Store, wait for the 19 year old to do some standard tests and/or ask a few questions and then send it out for knows how long if the 19 year old cant fix it on the spot. Or, take to Core Care and have it fixed right the first time within a few days. Ill always use these guys for my Apple Product Repairs and/or upgrades!

They solved my issue more quickly and far cheaper than I had anticipated. I actually thought they were under-charging me and offered to pay more but they wouldnt let me. And while I was there Casey insisted on helping me solve several other issues with my Apple products (aka dumb questions) at no additional charge.I cant overstate how great the experience was - an absolute model of efficiency, effectiveness, and customer service.

If you have a MAC, don’t go anywhere else. We have been taking our laptops to these guys ever since moving to Sacramento in 2006.They have extremely knowledgeable people on staff, they are fair and honest and I always walk away knowing the right thing was done for the right price.

Excellent service. Small business with great attention to details. I initially was going to go to the Apple store in Arden Fair, but knew that would be a hassle and very time consuming. I found Core Care after doing a google search. I was in and out in under 20 minutes. They helped me prepare my iPad for service. They told me it would be back in 3 to 5 business days (I think) but it was back in 2 and they called me when it was ready. Id highly recommend them and would use them again if needed.

Core Care is excellent. Customer service oriented, I had my new hard drive and video display card installed in my Mac Pro took quicker than I expected. Everything worked flawlessly, Im a photographer and Im up and running again. Thanks Casey.

I had a old 09 MacBook that I was thinking about getting rid of...took it in here and the gentleman at the front desk told me that my laptop was still good it just needed so minor upgrades... Needless to say.. He saved me $1500..... Highly recommend you visiting this place before you get rid of your computer!!

These guys were great! Apple store had a 5 day backup, plus I know from experience that Apple will argue with me about how to get things done... These guys at Core Care really took care of me, lots of back and forth on the phone on solving my issues, went out of their way to make sure my data was salvaged and were very affordable.

Very strange experience. I went in to order a new battery for my vintage laptop. They took my old battery to recycle and said theyd order a replacement which would take a few days. A week later I called to find out if it had arrived. They didnt call back. So I went in and asked. They said a few more days. So waited and then called again. No reply. Figured something wasnt right. I gave up and found what I needed online. Never heard a peep from them.

These guys are superb, the service is great and its real personal. The techs are wonderful to deal with even if your a Apple Guru like myself, the techs did a wonderful job on my MacBook Pro and I would not go to an Apple Store for service. Core Care A++++

I am fairly computer savvy, but when I find myself in a pinch I take my Apple computers to this place. For the past 9 years I am yet to be told we dont know whats wrong with your computer.

I had joined iCloud two weeks prior to my hard drive leaving this earth. I was assured with the tech at Apple all was okay on iCloud so I was not overly, yet very anxious that my pictures were all okay along with all my other data. From the minute Casey picked up the phone he calmly made me feel I had the right people on the job. I drove over to Sacramento and right away they ran a couple of tests confirming the diagnosis. I had my external hard drive yet unsure of the last time it had run a backup, but I explained about iCloud. Once my laptop was bedded down for its treatment, Casey took me into his workroom and we opened iCloud. There were 16 pictures there, not the 23,000 that should have been since I was paying extra per month to store that volume. I was devastated. Come Monday, Jason called and he said the bad news was nothing could be retrieved or it would be very labor intensive from the bad hard drive BUT my external hard drive had my data and pics from 2 days prior to the crash of 2017. After doing the happy dance, he told me he would call me back when he had completed all further tests and a backup. They are the GO TO GUYS for sure. The demeanor they handled things, like doctors handling a terminal patient, calm, patient and reassuring even when they could not promise a perfect outcome. Great customer service, fair prices and worth the drive!

My father and I have been going to these guys for over 10 years and they are still the best locally. From the iMac to my macbook, they have done outstanding maintenance and for that reason, BOTH computers are operational to this day. I would strongly recommend going to these guys before the nearest Apple store. They know what they are doing, they do not underperform and they are honest.
