Ive been getting my cuts from Juan and he always does a terrific job. He always takes his time and works with me to cut the hair to my liking. For the quality and effort, the price for a mens cut is the best in Sacramento. It looks like the only reason the reviews arent higher is because people make an appointment (requires a credit card) and then no-show without notice, creating a charge on their credit card. Every good barber in Sac will do the same. So call ahead if you cant keep an appointment.

Juan gave me an excellent cut! I have long hair almost to my shoulders. He took his time and gave a lot of attention to each part, even though I was just getting a trim. Im very happy with the cut - I had a fairly bad/asymmetrical cut elsewhere a couple months ago, and Juan fixed it with the trim. $20, great price. The guys are really nice, too. Ill be coming back!

Here is my experience after going here now almost since the business started. Brian and Juan are both young guys, mid twenties. Brian started this business at what 23? I would say kudos to such a young person starting a business. What I know is the guy works a lot, that tells me he cares about his business. Every haircut Ive gotten from Brian has been great, he spends 45 minutes making sure your hair is cut with care not speed. You tell me what you get at other shops? 45 minutes? I would say probably not. Haircuts are $16 people, if youre going to complain about that I would say you need to get a better job.Im reading a review about someone upset they were charged for a haircut after a no show. Im just going to say this, why do you think hes taking your credit card number to book an appointment? You need to stop think and do the math. Why should someone not get paid because youre inconsiderate and dont respect a persons time and efforts? Give me a break.Like anything in life nothing is perfect, but I think Brian really tries hard to make his customers happy. Hes doing something right, hes cutting hair back to back day in and day out.

He really takes the time to understand how you would like your hair cut and is always recommending and suggesting new ways to help you look your freshest. Every time I go there, its always ALWAYS a crisp haircut. Sharp lines, amazing finish. Juan really knows how to handle both straight razor and electric. Unfortunately, I dont live in Sacramento, but I travel to San Francisco a lot, so every time Im there, I travel the 2 hours to visit family, then see Brian and Juan to get a cut and shave.When you walk through the door (appointment only, unfortunately), DO NOT expect this to be a quick Fantastic Scams cheap hair cut. This is craftsmanship at its finest. All the details of a good barber are taken care of from hot towels, to the foam, to proper blocking. They really know their classic and modern styles. Book online (because its 2016) or give them a call to make an appointment and save some time. JUST DONT BE LATE!!The only pieces of criticism that I have is that there arent enough barbers their for walk in customers. If Brian had at least 1 or 2 extra seats for walk in, hed be money! Telling walk ins to book online because they are full is something that many salons and shops never do, which is turn people away. In this day and age, people are used to that. Their word of mouth is so strong, I saw four walk ins from referrals but they were turned away because they were booked solid for the day. Like I said, double edged sword.Another comment I have is that they are young men who know the barber side, but are still getting the talking to customer side. They are not rude. Not at all. Theyre the nicest guys on earth, but when it comes to remembering details within a conversation, sometimes they bring up a topic twice maybe three times. That tells me theyre concentrating on the work at hand. This doesnt bother me at all, but some people on the internet are giving bad reviews for bad customer service which is definitely NOT the case.Look, give them time to develop. They definitely know what theyre doing there. I cant find anyone who can do a Cali fade like Juan and Brian do in Vancouver.Consider yourself lucky Sacramento.

I have known Brian for a long time and have been getting my haircuts with him from the start, and dont really have anything negative to report. Him along with Juan and the other barbers always pay attention to detail and always make sure I leave with a cut and shave im happy with.
