First time in, not my last. Super clean and pro. If youre into old and vintage rods, this is a great place to talk shop. Just an old fashioned style barber which is all I want. Tip - go early Saturday morning. No wait. Classic cuts done right.

Hot Rod runs a great shop and does fantastic work. Im always pleased with my cut and the awesome conversations we have.

Meghan is truly one of the most talented flattoppers I have ever been able to find. Here is the difference: she didnt assume anything about my haircut, she stopped asked, validated my request by checking before she went to far, and does it all while making it about making my cut the best ever.

I’ve always disliked going to a barber because I never feel like they get it right or even care to. Can’t remember the last time I’ve walked out happy with the result until today. “Hot Rod” was super nice and did a great job. Friendly and classic barber shop that avoids the salon feel. I may have just found my permanent place.

The guy barely cut my boyfriends hair. $20 bills for that? No thank you man. I’m sure you have enough clients to fill your pockets. Never again, haircut sucked. Long line to wait and only one guy in there on a Friday morning. Sure Friday is the busiest day of the week, get some extra help.

Mike is Awesome. His cuts are on point! Small, cool rockabilly decor, good music. The Cheers of barber shops. His dog Remi treats you like family! Go here if you want quality and great service.

Friendly, talented guys here. Yes, you may have to wait on occasion, but its always worth it. By far the best haircut Ive gotten every single time.

Clean, old school cut. As a marine I get a fresh haircut every week, I just found my favorite barbershop.

Ive been to three different shops in Sacramento, but I think this one will be my go-to from now on. Good cut for a fair price, and its a place where car talk is actually met with conversation. I was lucky enough to find a like-minded car guy ahead of my cut, which in a city full of guys going for stance was pretty cool to come across.

This place is great! I walked in and they helped me out fast. The guys are friendly and the quality of service is great. I will be coming back soon!

Excellent service and ambiance! Very little wait for a drop-in haircut$10-20 for a haircut by an extremely professional hair stylist. Very close to the 48th St Station off the Gold Line makes this easy to access.

Had Meghan, a newer addition to the shop. Haircut was amazing, been twice now and am extremely satisfied with the results. This is now the only place I will go for a cut.

Consistently good haircuts from all three barbers. Good atmosphere and friendly interaction between the patrons and barbers.

The lines can be long at times - especially during the weekends; you have to arrive early if you want a cut. The barbers though are outstanding and will give you an amazing hair cut.

Best barbershop in East Sac

I hear good things, but in the 4 times Ive been here for a cut in the last month, all but once I was turned away. The only time I was allowed to wait, the line was 1.5 hours. Tried on a weekday, weekend, early and late. Want to support my neighborhood business, but cant get in.

The only shop I go to for haircuts - have been frequenting since it first opened and now live close enough to walk from home, but it was worth the drive when I lived across town.
