Your wedding should be one of the best days of your life. Wedgewood definitely didn’t disappoint. IT WAS AMAZING!! perfect, special, unique, and just all around the best time of my life!!! I’ve never been so happy. I planned on DIYing my wedding. Then the venue fell threw. I went into panic mode. I called about ten other venues and they were either way out of my price range or booked for the day I wanted. I called up Wedgewood, I told them my date and that I wanted a Sacramento location. Amazingly, they had my date available on short notice at the Sterling Hotel. The most beautiful place. I returned all my DIY wedding decor and started mapping things out with Sarah and Hannah, our wedding planners. When I tell you that losing my venue was the best thing to happen to me, I really mean it. The food was amazing! The DJ was great. The cake was beautiful. Hannah had my back the whole day! I don’t think I’ve ever lived in the moment before and been happy and enjoyed a special moment completely. I WAS TOTALLY IN THE MOMENT! I usually have to plan everything and think and worry, etc. Not on my wedding day. Once I walked down the aisle I was present. My dad has never seen me happier. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING A WEDGEWOOD WEDDING! I could go on about all the things that Wedgewood did to make my day special but I’d need more room. In short, BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!!!!

Was waiting to share my experience until after my wedding. Cannot put into words what the ladies at Wedgewood Sterling Hotel have done for us. From the VERY beginning ...the first tour to the very day off our wedding, they have been courteous, accommodating, supportive, there for us, and sincerely happy for us. I would recommend this venue and experience to anyone on a budget, anyone looking to have majority of the hard work taken off your plate, anyone wanting an intimate luxury/ glamorous wedding. It was more than my husband or I expected from a venue. Our wedding had about 40+guests and it was All inclusive and fun. We had theee best coordinator. I would not mind getting married here AGAIN in another 5 years. Thank you with all my heart for all the handwork by the entire team. The cooks, servers, bar tender, cleaning staff, dj and coordinators. My day was magical because of you.

Attended a wedding here and it was really a great experience. Shoutout to DJ Preston and the bartender Cassie for awesome service they provided and even as guests they accepted our unique requests regarding music and alcohol preferences.The hotel was closed during the time period but the entire venue was well thought out and it didnt feel cramped. The service was great throughout and all the staff did an awesome job making sure the wedding went off without a hitchOnly issue I had was the the parking situation is not the best, be prepared to pay a decent amount but considering that we are in midtown, I couldnt complain that much.Bride and Groom seemed to have no issues and they had a great time, so in the end that what matters the most!

If thinking about this venue, I would triple check everything. The wedding coordinator was great until she left home halfway through our reception. I’m not sure where the miscommunication happened, but we were told we get a complimentary stay at the bed and breakfast and we didn’t know until the end of our reception that we don’t have a room. They also cut our cake for all the guests first instead of cutting the guests’ cake. The people who worked at the end of the night weren’t helpful or understanding at all. Good thing we have good friends!

We had our wedding about 2 years ago at Sterling and it was wonderful. We did both the ceremony and the reception here and I could not have imagined it going any better. Kelsey and the other staff were absolutely incredible, professional and very easy to get a hold of. During the wedding, they were kind enough to bring us the food while we continued to talk to our guests, they went above and beyond for us and the DJ had an amazing choice in playlist. We got everything we wanted at a much more affordable price than most places in the area - the only aspect we did not use from Wedgewood, was our photographer which we found on our own. Highly recommend them!

My son and his wife celebrated their 1st year wedding Anniversary there. It was flawless, very organized beautiful setting.

My husband and I booked and planned our wedding with the Sterling Hotel by Wedgewood, and were married in early 2019. It was an amazing experience! Everything was so smooth with their planning services and preferred vendors (we selected all of our vendors from their preferred list, and are happy we did!). They were so accommodating when we had to make a final change to the number of guests the day before our wedding. We were blown away with the experience at every step. The girls were very helpful and took care of everything to make our night stress free and beautiful (Kali was especially great on our big night, she kept everything running, including us!). The setting for the ceremony was in the small room and just perfect for our group of about 75 people. The reception in the ballroom was beautiful as well, with a combination of ours and their decorations. We continually received compliments from our guests and it was clear everyone enjoyed the party! My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Sterling Hotel in May 2018, and everything about it was absolutely perfect. Kelsey went above and beyond in her professionalism, responsiveness, and attention to detail. We dropped off our decor the day before, and the staff did an incredible job with using their own creativity to arrange the centerpieces. So stunning! The meal options we chose were delicious, and our guests enjoyed the entire experience. Everything ran smoothly and on time, as well. I planned my wedding from Canada with the exceptional help from Wedgewood and it was planned and executed in less than 4 months. They were extremely helpful, super professional and always kind and prompt. Answered my numerous questions rapidly and always courteous. The team went above and beyond to give us the perfect day. They even customized a vegan menu for us which was delicious and my guests are still talking about the stuffed mushrooms. The best part was not having to worry about anything, and I mean anything. I dropped off my decorations the night before and everything was set up exactly the way I wanted it, and packed away at the end of the night. They were also willing to work with outside vendors which was great. The coordination services were extra, but super affordable and so so worth it.

Sterling Hotel gave me the best experience possible and made many aspect of getting married easy and stress free. Their inclusive packages make decision making easy. They offer so many options can accommodate as well. I attended one of their wedding shows to help showcase who they are and even won a coordinater for my big day. Honestly that was amazing. I highly recommend adding a coordinator on your bug day to help make sure everything is smooth and doesnt fall on the shoulders of a family member or friend. Overall highly recommend any Wedgewood venue as it was recommended to me.

This is the only venue in Sacramento that has the most in one package. You can customize anything you want. Very friendly staff, professional and they do an amazing job at getting everything handled and returning everything you own after the wedding. All of the vendors did an amazing job as well. Very good food, and a beautiful place to get married. Everything all together was amazing

We had an incredible experience with Wedgewood Weddings! Not only was the location provided beautiful, but it was affordable as well and the team there was extremely helpful! I only say this because we all know how expensive weddings can be! The day of coordinator that was part of their team was fantastic, there was never a need to have a wedding planner. I had my wedding November of 2018 and I still have people telling me how amazing it was. Wedgewoods team made everything seamless, painless, and stress free. The venue is beautiful and the team made everything look exactly how I imagined. They were on top of absolutely everything and there werent any delays in a single part!! I loved the experience so much I still refer as many people as I can to Wedgewood.

My husband and I got married at The Sterling Hotel by Wedgewood 2 years ago next Tuesday. We had a long engagement and booked this venue 18 months in advance. The truth is, you can plan a beautiful wedding here with like a 3 month notice. They have the entire process so streamlined and smooth. The planning and payment process was as easy as could be and on the day of wedding everything went off without a hitch. We used their recommended vendors for the cake (Karens Bakery in Folsom), florals (Wild Flowers design group) and their DJ, Preston. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a gorgeous location in downtown Sacramento.

Our wedding was 6-15-2019. When we first started planning i was very hesitant because i didnt know what to expect or actually how it would turn out. My husband and I got married here in September 2019, and it was such a fantastic process. I never felt overwhelmed during the planning process, they make everything incredibly easy and streamlined while still making every effort to make you feel special. We started planing in January and everything was done and finalized within a few months, leaving just a few minor details to finish closer to the wedding. The event they do for prospective couples was a great experience as well, you get the chance to see the ballroom all decked out, a chance to meet all the vendors and do food and cake tastings! They even do raffles where you can win upgrades for your wedding, that was amazing and the first time I ever won anything haha! Over all Wedgewood is a fantastic company that really makes your big day as special as possible while minimizing the stress that comes with planning a wedding. Also would highly recommend the Sterling Hotels big suite for your wedding night, it’s an absolutely gorgeous room and the giant bathtub is to die for!

I wanted a dream wedding without all the work and they delivered. Beautiful venue, event planning services were so thorough and easy. I definitely recommend having the same day event coordinator for a smooth day where you won’t feel like you missed anything!

I would give a 0 star review if I could. HORRIBLE company that has been a huge headache to deal with during all this COVID craziness. They were not flexible with rescheduling options due to COVID, and refused to work with us to create a safe environment for our guests. They were unwilling to be flexible regarding party size or dates considering the impact COVID is having on guests indoors. They also dont have the outdoor space available to host the number of guests in our original wedding contract. We tried to work with them to get a refund on our deposit since they are unable to host the event we originally signed a contract for, but they were very rude and refused to provide any such refund. We lost a lot of money to them and I would highly recommend NEVER working with Wedgewood. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or a manager from Wedgewood (someone above the team at Sterling Hotel), they refused to give me any contact info, and only said that I would get a call from someone when they had time. It took weeks to hear from someone, and when I did, it was from a blocked number. The man I spoke to was not willing to provide any flexibility and simply repeated what I was already told by other staff. Horrible company that only cares about money. DO NOT BOOK YOUR EVENT HERE!

Great venue. Loved the food served. We had chicken cordon blue and prime rib. The wedding went seamless. The venue can fit around 150 to 200 people.

Our wedding was canceled due to COVID-19. Wedgewood Weddings was unwilling to return our deposit, and they acted unprofessionally on multiple occasions. Sacramento has a lot of beautiful venues, and I highly recommend looking elsewhere for your wedding needs.

We got married at the Sterling Hotel on September 7, 2019. We enjoyed our experience from the moment we toured the venue up until our wedding day! What stood out for me was their customer service. I worked primarily with Kelsey and Hannah — both of them were so sweet, personable, patient, and accommodating! I remember asking Kelsey about 30 questions during our first visit at the venue, and she did not mind at all. She always had a smile on her face. My mom met Kelsey too at one of Sterling’s wedding fairs and loved her; she said Kelsey is definitely in the right business.Anytime I emailed the Wedgewood staff about other questions I had, they got back to me within a day or so and fully answered my questions. Their prices were reasonable and I loved that it was an all-inclusive venue. You can customize your package to determine what you would like Wedgewood to handle through their quality vendors. Our wedding package with Wedgewood included the DJ, wedding cake, invitations, photo booth, food, alcohol, and officiant. They have biannual wedding fairs at the venue in which you can taste the appetizers, dinner entrees, and wine that Wedgewood offers. This helps those who book with Wedgewood select the appetizers, food, and wine they would like to have at their wedding. There were also raffles at the end of these wedding fairs — as a result of the raffles, I won complimentary chargers, uplighting, and chivalri chairs for our wedding! It was so exciting and elevated our wedding day.Wedgewood seriously took the stress off of our wedding planning and they were so organized. My friends complimented how organized the wedding consultants were. Also, everyone loved the food at our wedding and the venue itself. If I were to have any criticism, it would be that the weddings are for only five hours instead of six. I think six hours would have been perfect; I felt a little rushed with the five hours and it went by so fast. But I still have no regrets and am so glad we got married here!!

I had my wedding pre-party here and everything was perfect! They help you with every single detail and they’re so organized about it. Also, the pictures on here don’t do this place justice! Go in and see the hall because it’s breathtaking on the inside. I just want to thank you guys for everything. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the food was or how nice the staff is.

I have only just started my wedding planning process and I am blown away by The Sterling Hotel, but especially our wedding ng coordinator Sarah! Ive so far only met with her twice but she has been absolutely amazing! She helped make everything seems so simple and stress free Ive truly been put to ease. Not only is she super friendly and personable (which is so important if youre going to be in communication with someone about your wedding) but shes so professional and knowledgable. I have dietary restrictions and she has truly gone above and beyond to ensure Ill be able to eat all the food at my wedding and that Im happy with the menu! The Sterling Hotel by wedgewood is incredibly accommodating, and has a range of pricing options so no matter what your budget is you will be able to find the perfect package for you! I will definitely reccomend The sterling hotel and Sarah, to all my friends!

We were married here April 7, 2018 and I could not have picked a better venue! The staff, food, and entertainment were fabulous!

We were forced to cancel our October wedding due to Covid-19. Wedgewood was not willing to issue a refund, even though they could no longer host our event as agreed upon. We lost our whole deposit and their customer service was not willing to help. BEWARE they dont care about their customers, just their money...

Our experience was great! All inclusive package except the video and photography. They made our wedding day phenomenal and a very memorable one. Our guests said very classy and elegant. Thank you Wedgewood Sterling Hotel staff. Wedding day was 08-18-18.

My dear friend had her wedding there. We had the bridal suite all day and the sevice was 150% of my expectations. We had water and tea and champagne with fresh fruit in the suite. The did a lot of the set up and it was beautiful. We had a lot of fun. The dance floor was nice and it was easy for the DJ to set up as well. They has great food at dinner and lots of drinks to choose from. The cake table was set up beautifully. They made the day so enjoyable. I would recommend this to anyone for a wedding site. It was perfect.

The Victorian charm of the Sterling Hotel, was so endearing and made for a unique experience. If not for a very cold room, I would have rated it a five star. The staff is amazing and the young man at the front desk gave us a fantastic recommendation for dinner- Bangkok on 12th!

Nice venue for a wedding but street parking can be real costly some people in the wedding had to pay 30.00 for parking guests paid around 11.00 to 14.00 for parking also it cost more to use a card instead of cash.
