If I could Id probably leave zero stars. The design and interior of the complex if great! Very modern. However, Ive been here almost a year and its been nothing but problems. First, the heater went out during winter. Second, one of the bathrooms had a leak and leaked through out the second bedroom closet causing mold. Third, multiple occasions the water heater went out until the fourth time they finally replaced it. Lastly, during a heat wave - 113 weather the AC is broken. This is day 2 and not one person has called back. I have a two year old son. How sad it is that we are resulting to stay else where because we are given zero feedback and it has yet to be resolved and the thermostat says the apartment is at 80. I will NOT be renewing my lease.
In short; DO NOT RENT HERE!Months after moving out and this place still gives me headaches. The most frustrating is the lack of management skill, communication, and delivery of promises from the staff/ owners. We lived here for just over a year and when we left, our apartment was spotless, I mean made my friends take their shoes off at the front door, no pets, no kids kind of spotless and these guys STILL took the whole $300 deposit AND ON TOP OF THAT SENT US A BILL FOR $200 more ! They never did the final walk though with us but luckily I took pictures of everything right as I locked the doors for the last time.I made the mistake of referring a friend about a month after moving in and it takes 3 months of your referred friend to live there for you to get the referral bonus. It took 7 months, many many phone calls and 2 trips for each household for signing paperwork (because they lost the first set of papers) to get the bonus. I literally got it two months before moving out.Oh and when you’re going to move out make sure to give the notice 60 DAYS before your move Out date, not 30 like every other place. & don’t count on a notice from them when the 60 days are approaching because they won’t let you know at all. We gave a 30 day notice and they forced us to stay the full 60 days after, so for that extra unexpected month we had to pay rent at two properties. Should have read the fine print but I’m warning you all now. Also this place Is infested, and I mean INFESTED with spiders and if you request a fumigation you’ll have to wait at least three weeks, which we did, AND THEY DIDN’T EVEN SHOW UP ON THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT! I mean it’s so frustrating it’s almost hilarious. We couldn’t crack our bedroom window (which had a screen) because spiders would crawl in. Luckily, by always keeping everything closed and spraying every few days ourselves we kept the place bug free. But take a look for yourself, walk down the grassy area and look at the trees, filled with spiderwebs, all the rails, at the light posts. Ew.The parking. We would have To sometimes park in the shopping center across the street it got so bad there. I mean people are parking in spots, like infront of the trash bins, that aren’t real spots and I don’t blame them one bit. And there is ZERO changing ur spot, even if there’s one closer to your apartment that has been vacant for months. They are real sticklers about that, won’t even have a conversation.Gate was constantly wide open or malfunctioning, I mean one morning there was a homeless man talking a bath in the community pool. Security was terrible, mailboxes were broken into at least twice in the time I was there, I mean destroyed to where we couldn’t even use them for months, neighbors cars were broken into, plates stolen.I feel like I could go on but I’m exhausted already. Please rent at your own risk, and spread your cheeks wide.PROS; location, the shopping center across the way, the beautiful pond across the street and the freeway was so close.
I put in an application for these apartments on their website it stated their rent was 1655 I have the screenshot of when I applied. I called and and they confirmed they received payment for my application but the rent is not as advertised on their website. I asked about a refund of the application fee she stated since they did not run my information yet I could get a refund to call on-sight who is who they go through to receive a refund so I called immediately and they advised that I have to get the refund from the complex. I called back spoke with the same woman who stated that she was waiting on her manager to come in and he should be in today and I would get a call within the next hour by then office was closed and no call. I called back first thing in the morning the following day and I was told that the manager was not in and he would not be in that day and that there was another manager coming and she would make sure that they called me.....I still have not received my refund nor have I received a call and I applied for the apartment almost a week ago now.
This place has deeply fallen apart again, the unit itself is my favorite apartment and maintenance here is great. They are a good maintenance team and all very nice people. The front office might as well stay locked up, it essentially does not exist. I’ve never seen such careless employees anywhere, I’m really shocked they hold a job actually. We are paying for amenities that are useless, things will randomly be closed no notice, the sloppy office hasn’t even figured out how to send memos for such occurrences. They’re lucky a Karen hasn’t reported them, it’s that shockingly bad lol but knock on wood for now. I really like the actual apartment but this is the worst apartment “business” I’ve witnessed yet. It’s sad to see such a waste, I truly hope it improves one day. Thankfully I think I’ll never need an apartment again after this one whew
Service is awful. Garage has a lot of nets and spiders and they dont want to do anything with that. Spiders on the patio. They never answers email and always away from the office for room tour. Impossible to reach and resolve simple questions.I dont recommend this apartments for rent.
We were promised so many great things when we signed our lease but pretty much none of it was delivered. We never received a gate clicker or a card to the package room (which you have to pay for if you want your packages to be secure). The back gate was constantly broken and stayed open to allow anyone to walk in. The mailboxes were broken into and not fixed until ~4 months later, and in the mean time we could only pick up our mail from the main post office that was incredibly inconvenient to get to. We ended up getting a PO box after the post office wouldnt hold our mail anymore because the management company took too long to fix the boxes. We were never compensated for this. We were told we could get a garage spot but when it came time we were told a price that was significantly higher than what we were quoted. If you have more than one vehicle it is incredibly inconvenient to find parking outside of your one assigned spot. My spouse and I would have to plan our work days so that one of us could get home before 5pm to get a free parking spot. If you come home after 6pm, good luck. The water heater and the apartment heater are on the same system so if one goes out, they both go out, which happened to us in the winter. The AC vent leaked water onto our carpet and after 4 fixes from maintenance it was never truly resolved. This was not the staffs fault, they were held hostage by the management company being cheap. The washer and dryer are in-unit but they are the oldest and cheapest machines. Our washer broke in the middle of a cycle and we had to finish our laundry in the bath tub. Trash and recycling are always overflowing and never seem to get picked up on a regular basis. The front office staff did everything they could to help but their hands are tied by bad management. At least 3 people quit in the year we were there. The manager is completely absent. When it came time for us to move out we were told we could get paint to do our own touch ups but no one was ever available. We were never able to do a final walk-through because they decided not to do them due to covid. We understand the circumstances but no one reached out to us to let us know after we had already scheduled it with them. We were also never given any final move out paperwork. We reached out to the regional manager to air our concerns but never heard back. FYI, if you want to give notice at the end of your lease term you MUST give 60 days, not 30. The only silver lining was they were flexible with us regarding our notice given that we were buying a house. However this was after repeated requests through email (which the manager initially ignored). Rent at your own risk.
Extremely accommodating and friendly leasing staff on-site on the weekend. Another complex botched our tour elsewhere, but when we called in Anderi was awesome, took us in right away, and showed us the EXACT renovated unit wed be moving into. We thought about cheaper options, but Anderis helpfulness really set this place apart from other tours elsewhere. Looking forward to leasing here.
Miramonte-Trovas is an absolutely dream place to live. When searching for a new place some months, the customer service was superlative, excellent and beyond words. The apartments have their own allure, but Hannah’s knowledge of design, layout, color and lighting made my choice an easy one. Since becoming a resident, Casey also has continued the top-shelf, exquisite customer service toward me. I’d recommend the Miramonte Staff as the model customer service group!
This place is super nice, super quiet and everybody just kinda there on business, the apartments are super nice & Esme is wonderful, she gets the job done efficient and fast .. couldn’t ask for anybody better
I applied there last year or the year before. They denied me because of credit and kept my $100 application fee. Not sure if legal or not but the business practice is certainly unethical. Avoid the apartments
So far the management have been really kind and helpful with my move in. The management here seems to be on top of things when it comes to remediation. I will update here in the future if anything changes. One thing I want to add as a note here for reference to anyone who wants to move in in the future is my notes on what I found when trying to set up my internet through AT&T. Okay so,1. Miramonte and Trovas are actually two adjacent apartment complexes on two different addresses. The Miramonte apartments are on the 4850 Natomas Blvd address and Trovas apartments are on the 4900 Natomas Blvd adress. When you move in youll be given and address with an appended letter at the end so 0123M or 0123T for example where M stands for Miramonte and T stands for Trovas. My guess is that this design was intended for easier management however having the same number apartment for two different addresses causes problems for package delivery where delivery men mistakenly deliver the package to the wrong complex. To help with this problem the letter M or T is recommended to be included when signing up for a service and etc. Another problem however is that certain services wont accept an M or T character in the apartment number so just be aware of that, it doesnt seem to be an issue with PGE or Smud since they wont be shipping packages. So in regards to AT&T you should be fine signing up with them without providing the M or T character.2. First time AT&T fiber user here so I didnt know that fiber does not require a coaxial outlet/wall jack so when I called for setting up an installation appointment I thought a technician would be needed for setting up a coax outlet in the wall. They did send a technician but they just verified the hub that they use to check the internet lines, no indoor entry needed. AT&T fiber actually uses this Optical Network Terminal (ONT) which looks like a white box with cables connected to it. After speaking to management I found out that they are already installed in either the coat hanger closet or bedroom closet usually near the ceiling (mine was out of sight I needed to walk into my closet do a 180 and look up) so check there first before calling AT&T to set up an indoor installation appointment. Also changing schedules for self installation is a dread, you cant just self setup anytime you want it has to be within a window of time in the appointment and rescheduling can be days to a week apart, support can barely do anything about it so plan accordingly
I just recently moved in, and Casey made the entire process super easy, she has made sure to keep in contact and take extra measurements to make sure i am happy in my unit. Casey has remained helpful during the entirety of my lease! I would definitely working with her when moving in!
UPDATED: Given time, things have honestly improved. Management continues to be aloof Its a good apartment complex, and the issues kicked in with new management. They inherited a lot of issues and theyve been slowly getting a handle on their new property. I wish theyd been more prepared or that the hand-off had been executed better.
They told me that I had to put a deposit down to hold an apartment. Then later called me to tell me that the tenants decided not to move out of that apartment. They then kept my deposit and would not return it back to me.Beware!
SPOKE TO YOUNG LADY BY THE NAME HANNA!VERY NICE AND INFORMATIVE ABOUT THE PROPERTY, SHE ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND WAS VERY NICE AND POLITE!Thanks
Just moved in recently and so far we are loving our new home! It’s very spacious for an apartment and has a lot of the amenities you’re probably looking for. Aside from the property itself I love the management on site! I have used amc for 4/5 years now and they are the only management company I rent from. A huge reason being their amazing staff especially Sharoy! She is always super friendly and handles business painlessly! Until I’m ready to purchase a home AMC has business solely off my experience with Sharoy and the staff! Stay weary of other reviews because honestly as long as you abide by your lease agreement you will have a great experience in the arms of Sharoy, Kasey, and Hannah!
Its a nice arena but its hard to find a parking spot.
I love that the office is open 7 days a week. 2 pools, 2 hot tubs, lots of grass, gym, dance studio, clubhouse with a bar. It feels like a resort.
Great place for my dog and I. A very diverse group of people live here. 24 hr gym is very clean. House had no bugs and no mold. Staffs are great if you get to know them. I felt safe living here and loved all my neighbors. Only problem was that the car port space is very tiny! Guest parking isnt a issue.
Guest parking is non existent. If your household has more than one car good luck finding parking for your second car. Dont leave a message on the offices phone number because its a 5 minute long recording, once you get through it you can leave a message that the office will never reply to. There is mold issues in the apartments and apartments have that damp smell. A LOT of bugs. Had to have someone come out and spray multiple times. I keep my apartment very clean so in 1 year Ive seen maybe 4-5 bugs in my apartment but to me thats 4-5 too many, and yes by bugs I mean cockroaches. Rent is high but its high every in North Natomas. Last comment. All maintenance request take minimum a week and a half for them to get to.
Prior to moving in, I saw all the reviews and was pretty worried about moving into the unit; however, Ive lived here for a year now and had NO ISSUES at all with bugs or rats. I live near the office (away from the creek) so maybe that could be the reason. Never had a problem/ reason to interact with management. I paid my rent online, and requested repairs online. I love it here! I would continue to live here; however, I cant afford the rent alone. But by far, the most beautiful apartments Ive ever lived at.
Good place to live - the property is kept pretty clean, nice pool areas and workout room, my apartment is spacious and management has always responded promptly to me for maintenance requests. I like the 24 hour package pickup. I wish my upstairs neighbors werent so loud though, feels like the walls are paper thin sometimes.
At night it can feel impossible to find a parking spot. Many of the RESERVED spots are marked with paint that is not visible at night. I found that out the hard way when my car was towed. I called to see how much it was to get my car back. It was Sunday so it was $380 to pick it up that day and $280 if I picked it up on Monday between 8-9 am.I called the office to let them know and they said the manager would return my call right away, but they never did!
Pros:Good apartmentsSafe communityVery good neighbour hoodCons:Parking is a pain if you are visiting a friend or family here.Apartments look a bit old from the inside.
The staff in the management office are terrible. We had several maintenance issues at our apartment that we reported several times. The maintenance issues involved non-functioning lights. We had to live in the dark for several weeks. They repeatedly ignored us and have the most junior member “handle” our problems. This incompetent staff member lied to us on several occasions saying that it will be fixed right away. It has been 3 weeks and no actions have been taken. This is the worst management that I have ever dealt with through all my experiences. In addition, there was constantly trash in the pool the 2 times we went there. I would not recommend this apartment complex.
If you are looking for nice, clean and safe, this is NOT the place for you. The grounds are are not clean. If you have problems with your air conditioner they just make excuses. We set our thermostat to 74 but on days over 90 the apartment can only cool to 80. Things are always breaking and its hard to get them to come fix things properly. Staff is very rude!
Fair statement I didnt live here. But I applied and paid the deposit anticipating to live here. When they did not honor the quote that I was given and raised the rate 50 dollars a month I cancelled the lease and they did not refund my deposit. They will rip you off!!!!
Great community. Peaceful neighborhood as well as awesome pool and barbecue areas:)
I toured these apartments twice and wasnt impressed. Aside from the location, they dont have much to offer. Here are a few suggestions for nearby apartments that are 1 or more of the following: newer, nicer, cleaner, or have better customer service. They are The Lofts Apartments, Avanti Apartments, Homecoming at Creekside, or Granite Point Apartments.
Terrible management
Huge complex, wonderful people, lots of common areas, pools, spas, grassy areas, gym, studio, lounge/event room, bbq areas, etc. great for pets too.
Lived for around 2 years - bit expensive but worth living. well maintained and spacious accommodation
The parking is God awful. If you are thinking about moving here only own 1 car, even then people will still park in your asigned parking spot. The rent is very high for people to park In my asighned parking spot but they do it anyways, and a lot of the neibors are very inconsiderate and rude. I will say the apartments on the inside are nice and the office staff are nice but once my lease is up I am moving. Nothing is worse than having a long day at work to come home and fight for a place to park.
Avoid these apartments at all costs! I can honestly say the office blatantly lies to you to avoid responsibility as management. Upon move in no work was done to my apartment, as in they said it was ready, but nothing was cleaned, painted, fixed, and the carpets needed to be changed. My apartment had a gas leak from the fireplace for months and they lied about fixing it multiple times. (Highly Illegal) Turns out they just disconnected it and sealed it after i threatened to report to authorities, so now no fireplace. I had mold and a water leak in the ceiling which cause my daughter and I to be sick regularly, they said they fixed it but they lied and it just got worse. They just painted over the mold and water. The neighbor smoked so much in his apartment that it would leak into mine and I would walk into a smoke cloud in my living room.(This ended up causing lung problems for myself) The smoke came in because of a joke about 12 inches x 8 inches wide. The dryer was never hooked up to a tube for the lint to go out, so a fire almost started in the apartment and they said it was urgent. They broke my fridge multiple time because the maintenance guys dont know what they are doing. My windows were broken the entire I lived there even though they supposedly “fixed it”. I have an infant after dealing with the health hazards of this complex you also have to deal with dog owners who DONT walk their untrained dogs on a leash. Specifically the chihuahuas and black lab. The black lab came and tried to attack my daughter in the stroller while the owner sat on her phone and quitley said no come here stop. I’m not sure how this apartment is up and running and charging so much money. Also I had been paying for two spots and they lied and said I only had one until the last two months of the lease. They office staff has no idea how to run a complex and just act like the have no idea what you are talking about so they can avoid conflict for not doing their job. To their surprise somehow, when I moved out early and got someone else to take over the lease they were shocked??? The incompetence is insane. This isn’t even all the things that went wrong. Good luck with renting here.
They take your application fee and deposit for a place they really don’t have and keep you application fee run your credit as a means to RIP consumers off .. Then hold onto to your deposit for weeks; although they are the ones who inform you they really don’t have a place available or they change the available date, putting you in a bind with your current place. No one has time to play Russian Rulet with there living situation or have there money held up preventing them from using it for another place .. and I’m still waiting for my funds, my legal team is ready to sue for a lot more than my money. I’m still waiting for if I don’t see my refund in the next week. Prior reviews show they have a history of this type of Ponzi scam, it’s a matter of principals run for the hills. Dr. Kala Taylor
Our washer was broken first time we used it. Took a number if if its to fix, fix, replace. Each time we were left with piles of wet dirty towels from the mess and $60 in laundry Matt quarters plus lits of time. Previous tenant had BBQ on porch left us a huge greasy stain that attracted bugs I guess I will try car degreaser and elbow grease. AC unit broke its on repair #1 fingers crossed. Just typical appartment living. Im still waiting on my garage a month in.
It is a great .It is so tidy .Its a good sight to see thestars.
I really love the apartments, everything is good, love the fact that there are 2 pools and 2 gyms, and one of the gyms are open 24/7 and the maintenance guys respond really quick. The only problem is parking lot is very narrow
Extremely poor management!!!!
Great place to live🏡👌
I would have rated this apartment complex a ZERO if I could! I am a disabled military veteran on limited income. I have handicapped license plates for my condition and am entitled to park in handicapped parking. I went to these apartments to visit a friend and inquire about leasing. I parked in a handicapped parking space but forgot to place my parking placard on the rearview mirror. The reason I forgot was because my car with the handicapped plates was in the shop for major work. I had to rent a vehicle and obtain a temporary placard from DMV. I suffer from severe back pain and I also have been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as a result of my injuries I suffered during my service in Vietnam and the Persian Gulf. My PTSD is severe and I am 100% service-connected. Due to my condition I cannot work, I suffer from irritability, insomnia, anger, suicidal thoughts, panic attacks, and forgetfulness to mention a few. I contacted the apartment complex (Sean) to let him know that I was entitled to park in that space and that I simply had forgotten to place my placard on the mirror. I told him that I take full responsibility and I was simply asking for leniency by lowering the cost. He told me that there was nothing that they could do. I also contacted the tow company and got the same response, not to mention that they were extremely rude! I am on a limited income and the $330.00 that I paid to get my car back seemed extreme. My car was towed at 4:30am and I contacted them that same morning. They would not release the vehicle until 1:30pm. I was simply asking that the fees be reduced because of the circumstances and the fact that I was entitled to park there. I dont quite understand why they dont simply cite the vehicles that are illegally parked instead towing, which would give people an opportunity to defend themselves. I guess thats one way for the complex and tow company to rape people of their hard earned money! I will never do business with this apartment complex and would encourage everyone who resides there or visits to use extreme caution when parking. I would never lease from this complex, even if that was the only apartment available in the Sacramento area. This is how they treat people who have sacrificed their lives and given them the freedom that we all enjoy. Very sad!!
All people that has telling their problems are completely RIGHT. I am putting one star because you cannot put less. I have 9 months living here and I just wanted to get out of the tricky lease term that they offer to you since de third day.And here is my experience so everybody can know the real thing about this place or just be careful on whatever they tell you:1. When I received the apartment, all the carpet around the apartment (living and dinning room, baths and beds) was not attached on each corner and shores. I had to take pictures to show them. It was a Saturday and they told me, OK, we can reaper it until Monday or Tuesday. And I was expecting my furniture to be here on Tuesday so I asked them to do it as soon as possible otherwise they will need to move the furniture and everything to fix the carpet.2. The assigned me with the wrong carpot number and we were almost in the middle of the night with our leasing contract (the neighbor and me) trying to understand but both have the same number, so I have to go again at the next day to clarify this, and listened again they favorite phrase I´m sorry.3. Whenever I need to use their business center well, there was a not working business center, it was closed because they will replace the computer. And after 8 months, finally we can have the business center working. But when they show you the place, they offer you a business center.4. When we have 3 months here, we went out all they and when we arrive around 9.30 pm, we advice that there where a lot of water under the fridge, and of course, the refrigerator got broken. But the best part was that we were calling, and calling and calling and leaving messages at the office, because the emergency phone never answer. We waste about $500 in food. At the next day we have to go again to the office and tell them what has happen and they don´t believe me that nobody was answering the emergency phone calls. And suddenly, SURPRISE, the emergency phone was no the one they have on their voice mail. And nobody had noticed it until I complain about this. They didn´t wanted to terminate the contract even when they are not doing their job. Whenever you rent a luxury apartment the minimum you are expected is to have everything working at least. After I was insisting in getting something back, the manager (that by the way she is almost never at the property) she finally put a credit of $500 on my account. But you can imagine all you have to do with no food, no place to put it until the next day and with a little one to take care.5. Most of the people that is always at the office has no idea about customer service. They need to be nicer with the tenants. All the time you need something like the password for the wifi (that is being offer at the pool area) they don´t have it, and they don´t ask nobody and they never take a note on your account. They told you they cannot do it, that you have to call next day to talk to the manager. But you area right, the Never answer the phone, Never. And I have more, so please, if after all you are still looking for living in this place, Good Luck.
The need to work with there pest control way to many spiders and spider webs my sister has lived her for 4 years its very expensive and the maintenance guys dont do much.. not worth what you pay
Love the place its where I live
Cool place but parking sucks
Great place to call home!
Extremely poor management.
Rent way to high, very poor customer service, rude to African American potential tenants tenants
The people in leasing office very rude not a good customer service at all
Appreciate the service
Nice complex
