Good prices. Shuttles make it convenient. Always been safe, no issues with leaving my car there.

Not difficult to find parking. The issue is when leaving and trying to pay for parking. Theres only one machine to pay and its outside and to the left, of the exit.

Location is a bit far from the terminals. Shuttle runs regularly, about every 10 to 15 minutes. Im sure that will change once things re- open. Lot of dust. Will definitely need to wash your vehicle when you return

This is a great shuttle service. It’s well lit. The shuttle comes by every few minutes. I didn’t wait more than 2 minutes. The drivers are very helpful and nice as well. They seem to really enjoy their job.

Big, but the shuttles make it no problem. Dont forget to have a few $ to tip the shuttle driver. They dont expect a tip, but from their reaction they need it. We left our work truck in the lot unlocked by accident for over a week and it was untouched. I recommend this place.

I highly recommend economy parking! The place is well lit and the bus pulled up right after I got there. The bus driver helped me with my bags and was very friendly. I was gone for fifteen days and knew I didnt have to worry about leaving my vehicle there. I had no problems and will use economy parking again.

Ive used this place many times. Almost always full. Buses slow and almost always full. Decent rate compared with other airports, especially in the Bay Area. If weather OK, best thing is to try to park near the terminals (if you can find any spots!) and then walk there!

Parking is great and a good deal.Someone complained about rodents chewing through their car. How is that the airports responsibility?Someone hit your car? That can happen anywhere.$10 a day to park is a steal. Be a little more thankful.

Unless the worm has turned in the past 2 yrs since parking here, I have always been in awe of the rapid service of the shuttles plus the really accommodating attitude of the driver who helps me (Im disabled) load and off load my suitcase. The last time I flew out of Oakland I waited 45 mins for shuttle; whereas, at Sacramento, only about 10 minutes max and usually 3-5 minutes.

Parking is fine price is fine but the wait returning to the lot is always way to long while empty daily buses and rental buses circle around

My driver spent a good few minutes personally talking to each passenger. It tripled the tone of the ride. Multiple shuttles out of device too. Park in daily lot instead. You can walk to the terminal in Econ you must take shuttle. Almost missed my flight today.

Its a parking lot so what can be good and bad about it? It was full when I left and there were a few people who were not happy about that, so that sucks. But it was safe, patrolled, and they offer assistance if you have to tow or need a jump (if you can find the number on their website). They kind of unintentionally gave me the run around intially but when help arrived they were very friendly and helpful.

Waited 50 minutes for a shuttle to the West Parking lot. No one was helpful, no one would provide their names, the phone number on the website kept disconnecting us. Found out they reallocated the buses to accommodate the long line for the rental

Confusing to navigate for an out of towner. Thankfully I was in a truck but a lower vehicle could easily be damaged by the loose gravel in the lot. Nothing happened to my vehicle while I used the lot though, cant complain overall!

Veichle got hit in the parking lot and there was nothing they could do about it. Thats the airport for you. At least 10 a day aint horrible thats only reason they got 2 star.

Waited 40 minutes for shuttle. No place to sit. We watched several buses go by for the daily lot. The courtesy phone didn’t work. The phone number supplied by Google was no longer in service. There were so many people waiting there should have been two buses. The people left behind weren’t happy. I feel sorry for the driver. He did a great job but it isn’t his fault that not enough buses are in service. Not very impressive Sac Metro Airport. = (

Car is always safe and secure when I park in this lot. Well lighted. The shuttle is typically readily available. Only once in 7 yrs has th here been a very very long wait for the shuttle to come by for transport to or from the terminala.

Not enough buses for economy parking (for both departure and arrival flights). 100 degrees out and all there was along line. Actual bus ride is fine.

Great shuttle drivers very helpful dont forget to write what lot you are in!

1am the male Spanish driver drove past each stop upsetting people who were trying to get off close to their car in the pouring down rain as the drive acted like he did not I understand the word stop! Wow

Dont park here. I left my car here for three days (Thursday March 27 - Sunday March 21), and returned to find that my cars engine was barely functional. Assuming I had a serious engine problem, I had my car towed to the nearest dealership, and abandoned it in Sacramento, finding an alternate way back to Chico. Today the dealer called to inform me that some kind of rodent got under the hood and chewed through a bunch of wiring - including to my fuel injectors, while I was parked in the Economy Lot. So now Im looking a repair cost of over $500, which, of course, Sacramento County Airports is refusing to help with.If you MUST park here, I would recommend parking on the side closest to the airport to minimize the risk of this happening to you.

When we came out of the terminal we had to wait 30 minutes for the airport Economy Parking bus to roll by. While waiting we saw several buses come around for Rental Cars and Daily Parking and with the same drivers (these bus drivers are the slowest drivers I have ever seen). But nothing for Economy Parking for 30 minutes. It took us a good 45 minutes to come out of the terminal with my bags and get to my car. I have been to many airports and in the US this is the worst I have ever seen. This airport is in the State Capitol of California. Go figure.

Just so bad. The bus ALWAYS takes forever!! Am standing in a line of 50 people waiting to go to get their cars and no bus has come for a long while. They need to use tech like cameras to see how many people are waiting, dispatch another driver. It isn’t like they don’t know there are flights arriving. Just bad.

Love SMF but economy parking experience is sub par. Lack of busses is a problem that needs fixing. We waited 20 min and saw multiple empty rental car busses pass us.$10 a day is great, lot feels safe and semi well lit at night. One attendant at exit booth is not enough at times

Got off the plane, battery was dead. They helped me jump the battery quickly and for free.

Good daily rate but the bus rarely shows up. If using the economy lot park near SMF Car Rental Terminal and walk across Aviation Dr to use the rental car shuttles.

Used to be bad.. But these days, bus frequency has increased. Also, some lots have gravel instead of road and could hurt the tires. Not bad overall

I have used this parking lot several times and have never waited for a shuttle more than 5 minutes. Most of the time I could see it coming when I got to the stop.

SMF long term parking is the worst airport parking. I have parked my car every week over the last 20 years at SMF, OAK, SAN JOSE, SEA and OAK. SMF fails, waiting 20 minutes sometimes to get a shuttle. Terrible!

Hard to find a parking spot. The worst part is how long it takes for a shuttle to come around.

Seems like daily lot arrives with great frequency but the economy lot takes forever and a day. If it wasnt for the good driver this would have been a 1 star.

DO NOT USED CREDIT CARDS @ ARCO OR TO PARK @ SMF. On 6-30-16, I purchased fuel at the Arco gas station next to the long term parking. I experienced problems with the fuel pump credit card machine. On 7-5-16, I picked up my car at 3:00, after paying for the parking with the same credit card. Two hours later someone manually (and fraudulently) used my credit card to buy almost $1,000 worth of stuff at Dicks Sporting Goods in Folsom. I am reporting both Arco & SMF parking to my credit card company to see if there is a pattern. I will always use cash in the future. I have heard nothing but horror stories about the long-term parking area including thefts from and of cars and trucks from the lot. Bus drivers can be great, but the management is terrible.

Never park in this lot if you can help it unless youre a fan of walking forever or waiting half an hour for the buses.

I pay 60$ per week to park here. They only provide a shuttle every twenty minutes or so. Its awful!Uber is about to get my business of things dont improve here.

Its a huge parking lot with frequent bus rounds

We counted 21 airport buses drive by until one said economy lot. Thats right about the time the line got over 100 people waiting.

I had a problem with fraudulent use of my credit card. I had not used my corporate credit card in over 2 months then I only used it to pay for my parking as I exited the lot. The next day I received a call from the fraud department that someone was attempting to make a $ 3800.00 purchase. they had to clone the card when handed to parking attendant.

West Economy lot, 6 shuttles drive by us. Took over 40 minutes to get picked up. Terrible.

Still the same with the wait for their shuttle.

Driver closed the door on the bus when it was half full. Sometimes takes 20 mins for next bus to arrive. Terrible drivers and service. Use daily lot for 2 dollars more and walk to terminal.
