Dr. David Murphy and Alyssa are the best!! They took great care of me. I am not fond of dentist offices to begin with, but they helped me to be at ease. Dr. Murphy took the time to explain the procedure, and possible side effects. I really appreciated that information. I am grateful I have found them and look forward to having a family dentist once again. Highly recommended.

This has been my first dentist appointment/ checkup in years and I have to say that it was not only the best dentist appointment I’ve ever had, but the best appointment I’ve ever had in my 22 years of living. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, they listened to all my concerns, made a plan for my “smile journey” (imma trademark that phrase), and even had wonderful conversations about life. You will get much more than a checkup here.

I had an excellent treatment. Had old crown removed an new one installed. Great dental hygienest, and doctor. I would Dr. Murphy to anyone Dr. Lamar is great also. I have used this dental office over 50 years.

Once again Johnston Dental did a great job. I feel cared for, the environment is clean and safe, and my old fear of going to the dentist is long gone. Dr. Lamar is gentle and Mrs. Murphy is great fun to chat with (unless I have tools in my mouth) and keeps things relaxed but professional. I have never had any issues with the staff there. Everyone is fantastic and all questions and concerns are always addressed and answered. They truly earn my 5 Star ⭐️ rating!

I called Johnston Dental telling them I was a new patient with my first cleaning is scheduled in February, but was having discomfort in an upper back tooth. They had availability that same afternoon and fixed a filing and broken tooth. My discomfort is gone and I can eat on that side of my mouth again! I am looking forward to continuing my visits to Johnston Dental and my familys visits as well.

I absolutely love Johnston Dental. The kindness, politeness, and respect they give is so amazing. This is not your ordinary dentist. This dentist is my 2nd family. Update: After being contacted by the staff at Johnston Dental, I was scheduled for a follow up appointment and they definitely made things right. Things happen, but I am very appreciative for the care and service I received by my dentist. I have been back twice since and have received amazing service from them and am very happy with my dentist and his staff.I’ve always been happy with johnson dental. Very nice people but this time I had a root canal done and a crown put on and it came loose 6 months later and unfortunately I swallowed the crown. I made an appointment and was told I needed a new crown which is 1200$ and that I would get 10% off since it’s only been 6 months. Honestly, I felt like the 10% was an insult. I am self employed in hvac, and let’s just say I installed a new piece of equipment that failed in 6 months, I am definitely going to make it right with my customer and warrant my work. I feel like I was let down by my dentist. I’m sure there is an excuse as to why it came loose, decay or something to the sort, but 6 months? The root canal and crown cost around 2500$, which is a lot of money! Needless to say, I left this appointment pretty aggrieved. I’m not one to leave reviews, especially negative ones, but after receiving two text messages to review on google I decided to review. Like I said, very nice people in the office, but to me it seems they don’t stand behind their work, unless you feel 10% off is sufficient, which clearly I don’t.

Previously left a bad review because I was in pain from the procedure that was done. The dental office has since contacted me and tried to make things right. I will give them another try.

Went in to get a temporary bridge cemented again. The lady doing the work proceeded to try to do impressions of my whole mouth. Not sure why because I was not informed ahead of time. She pulled a bridge out of my mouth because she pulled so hard on the impression. Then she proceeded to drop the bridge on the floor, luckily it didnt shatter. My mouth is still sore from all the pulling she did on my teeth.
