I would never recommend spring lake to anyone. I lived there for 2 years and their apartments are completely outdated and run down. I had roaches and even found a mouse in my apartment once. They had a guy come out to spray for bugs and he tried telling me there wasn’t a roach problem and did nothing about it. Spring lake might have been worth it in the past but they have increased rent so much and haven’t made any changes to these apartments. My roommate also broke her lease in the middle of the pandemic and they refused to take any action against her so just be caution before deciding to live here.
The WORST place to live in Russellville, AR. I have lived here 3 and a half years and encountered nothing but bad experiences. I’ve had friends stay here who have all had similar experiences to the ones listed below.-The living conditions. Several months back my washing machine began acting up and not running through the entire cycle. After putting in a maintenance request it was reportedly fixed, which it wasnt at all. After SIX more requests they finally did something about it and traded the washing machine out. One time my vents had BLACK MOLD growing out of them. Instead of addressing it properly the staff came in and sprayed something on it and then repainted over the vent. My roommate’s toilet once flooded, and water got all in his carpet and the carpet in our living room. Instead of checking for mold or anything underneath the carpet they just stuck a fan inside of the apartment and told us it should dry out in a few days.-The incompetent staff. After having a year’s lease with Spring Lake I went in to pay 6 months’ rent and told the person up front that I would only be staying there for another 6 months and asked if there was anything I needed to do. Instead of giving me the proper paperwork to fill out for a 6 month lease I was told next to nothing. They renewed my lease for an entire year and are now expecting me to pay 3 months rent just to get out of my contract. Taking responsibility for clerical errors on their end isnt Spring Lakes strong suit. When talking to the director of Residence Relations at Lindsey Management I was told “It wasn’t the lady’s responsibility to give me the proper paperwork when I instructed her that I would only be there for 6 more months.” A very clear demonstration of corporations not caring about the people below.-The FAKE environment they expose you too. Online you might find nice and photoshoped pictures of the grounds but in reality the grounds are not well kept and are more often than not disgusting. The picture below shows what their gazebos truly look like.-The HORRIBLE roads. All along Spring Lake you find giant potholes that will do a number to your vehicle. Multiple friends of mine have had car issues because of the horrendous and patchy roads at Spring Lake. There are pictures below of what the roads are riddled with.If you have ANY OTHER OPTION I would advise living there instead of this apartment complex.
They need to be updated and better maintained. You get what you pay for however. Staff is hit or miss. Sometimes you get kind people, other times you get dragons. Great for college kids on a budget but cant justify calling it a permanent home. Get in until you can afford to get out.
Nice place to live....cheap and has a residential pool and gym.
Parking lot being full of potholes. Went to visit my sister and apparently since she has moved in the bathroom sink has not worked, the main door entrance is not level and leaves a large gap that lets air out (increasing electricity costs), and there is mold in the closet where the water heater is.
Need to fix their drive ways it is really rough. Other than that ok just visiting someone living there.
Very friendly staff, complete work orders in a timely manner. Pool, gym and other fun things in site to do!
After living here for only a few months, my ac was not working so we called and let them know. i would have the ac set to 68 and my apartment was still 80 degrees. it was unbearable. a few days went by and they finally came while i was at work and when i got back they had changed the thermostat. nothing else changed. it was still blowing really hot air so i thought maybe change the filter or something so i proceeded to let them know and it has been months later and no one has come to fix anything. a few weeks before christmas my dryer went in and out of working then a week before christmas went completely out. well i had let them know the dryer was kinda on and off about working so they told me they will have someone come over tomorrow. three days after that conversation someone finally showed and they said they will have to talk to her about getting me a new one. with the holidays i didn’t let it phase me that i hadnt heard any info back from them. now that it has been 6 days after the new year i called and they were very rude about me questioning them. i asked what the plan was because having no dryer and paying $580+ a month that included washer and dryer in rent really irritates me and is stressful. i’m not trying to pay this much when they won’t help me out with the things that are included in their own job. i said they were supposed to let me know when they found out and she took offense to it for some reason. am i not allowed to know when i’ll have a dryer again finally? they told me it was because it is a dryer and dryers will take a long time for them to get and that i will have to wait at least 2 more weeks. i was talked down to like i was a child. i usually don’t pay attention to the way people talk to me but it’s hard when they do it every time something goes wrong in this place. the attitude the staff has is ridiculous. i have had many problems with those in the office because of how insanely rude they are. they get so offended that i have questions to ask or that problems are happening in the apartments THEY SRE IN CHARGE OF. i have until june until i can finally leave this place. i will never come back and i do NOT recommend this place.
Worst staff, worst place, don’t tell anyone to live here unless you hate them.
I used to live at this apartments a while back. I never got a chance to leave a review. The management doesnt seem to change since I lived there, still terrible. They dont want to repair anything unless they have to. They would love to keep your deposit for any reason they can. They are rude. Apartments are in terrible condition. I would discourage anyone from living there. Apartments are not well maintained.
Very nice apartments
Despite being a clean tenant my unit is plagued with a cockroach infestation. fill out a work order and a weird exterminator will come by to spray some substance other your fridge and leave it unplugged and call it a day. my dish washer has been broken for months despite filling out several work orders. the maintenance guy came buy and claimed it was fixed yet still doesn’t drain properly. might have something to do with the appliances being ancient. it’s got good bones — high ceilings, good natural lighting for an apartment, central heat and air runs well. there’s just a load of flaws you wouldn’t expect out of a place that charges the monthly rates that they do. i will not be renewing my lease, and i pity the next tenant who will take my place. look elsewhere for a place to live.
We love living here! It’s been about a year. Clean apartments! Never seen any mice or roaches as some reviews are saying. (Hardly ever) but the occasional bug here and there, but that’s to be expected in any building! All our work orders have been filled within a week! Friendly staff!
Its been over 4 months of my 12 month lease and I cant really complain about much. I read the reviews before moving in and talked to previous tenants, so I am not surprised when I periodically see little American Roaches, as the exterminator calls them, running around. I just get up and kill them with a paper towel. Yea the people above me can be loud and while they have 2 young dogs that are always running around making a ruckus it is to be expected in an apartment. Management is fine, I dont talk to them unless I have to, they replaced a dryer for me when it died and fixed my dishwasher when I moved it. A monthly newsletter is posted at your door and emailed to you giving you a heads up on what is going on around the complex which is nice. My rent is on auto pay and pets are happy so I have no issues there. I do think that the gates are a bit dumb and sometimes dont feel like working. I really dont understand the gate at the end of the complex that is always shut. My work schedule is pretty crazy where I alternate between nights and days and I have never had an issue sleeping day or night due to noise. I did make an effort to meet the other residents around me (besides and above) so we let each other know if something is bothersome or not. I know this space isnt mine, but by putting in just a little effort to maintain everything, this is not the worst place to live.I know the reviews here are not the best, but they are fairly clean, cheap apartments that you can call home at the end of the day.
Great maintenance response
I could get over the small kitchen but the roaches just got worse and worse. The maintenance doesn’t even clean up the trash outside the apartment buildings. They just let anything sit outside on the sidewalk for days including a couch they cut in half because someone got it stuck on the stairs for an entire day and decided to leave while moving out. Oh and the office manager doesn’t actually do her job very well either after I had already paid to leave my apartment I had an overpaid credit on my account which they tried to tell me meant I owed more money what a joke they don’t even know how their own website works or even the right amount for which I was supposed to pay. They didn’t even know what unapplied credit meant.
Was told I could have both my dogs when I talk to the leasing agent while viewing a 2bd apt. Guess they changed their policy. They don’t answer emails.
This place is a complete joke. If you have an elderly family member that is living here and for medical reasons can not return home to live safely there alone they will continue to charge them a buy out fee. Even if moving out wasnt their option and with proper documentation they still charged them $1, 110 for liquidated damages meaning a buying out her lease. And when calling corporate they stated that even if you die they will still try and charge you!! No compassion for the elderly and unforeseen circumstances!! DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE!! AWFUL GREED!!
These apartments are a joke. They look nothing near what the model apartment looks like. They are old, they stink, the appliances are at least 25 years old. They dont fix things that are wrong with the apartments. My sons dryer has been messed up since he moved in back in August. They say they fix it and bring it back not fixed, but they want their rent money. They are terrible to deal with. DONT RENT FROM THIS PLACE, YOU WILL BE SORRY.
Seems like a nice place to live???
Lived there a year loved it. Nice clean place. Quiet for all the residents living here. Needs to be updated in the kitchen area
Very run down
If I could give zero stars I would. However that’s not an option. They lie about giving notices, and if your a third shift worker forget about sleep living here. For example today they decided to change out the concrete steps outside my window with zero notice. Will take hours of hammering, sawing and loud power tools while I was given no notice to find another place to sleep for the day. I call and I should have received notification prior and was told it should be short and they will be done quickly. I ask the gentleman actually working and they have only begun, there will still be hours left. None of my neighbors received any notice either. None of us have received anything for months, no monthly calendars to know when maintenance will change filters, no notice for pest control. I am woken up regularly with no notice through the week.Nothing will ever get fixed bc no one here really knows how to fix anything. Nothing is ever replaced. The outside lights are never working so bring a flashlight to get in your apartment at night. The staff are always rude when I call and never helpful. This is only a small list of complaints and barely scratches the surface of all the things wrong with this place. So if there are other options for somewhere to rent, save yourself a great deal of stress and live somewhere else.
Great place to live good prices. family oriented . nice neighborhood. Convenient location in town
If I could give zero stars I would. This has been the worst place I have ever lived. the maintenance people dont know what the hell theyre doing half the time and Ive had multiple problems in less than a month of living here from the tub not draining to the kitchen faucet, toilet, and under the sink leaking and the ac breaking 4 times... DONT LIVE HERE ITS OVER PRICED DARK AND SMALL
Lots of stuff! You put in a maintenance request and it takes weeks for them to get to it...even if it is a security issue like your door not locking. Our A/C went out and it took them almost a half a day to get to our apartment to look at it but then we had to wait the whole weekend for someone else to come out and fix it.....and this was over the summer so it got pretty hot. Plus for some reason our electricity bill is always high for a 1 bedroom apartment compared to the 2 bedroom apartments...i talked to them about it and all they said was call the electric company.
Will never recommend this complex to anyone and will not renew our lease!! These people do not care about their residents at all and do not work with them at all. For something that is their fault, we are now getting charged $80 extra on our rent. I am on maternity leave and we do not have the extra income. They basically said sorry, tough luck. Pay it or be evicted. I have a one month old daughter. In June, my check was a few days late so we had late fees which was fine. I called the morning I went to go pay rent to make sure the money order I planned to get was enough including late fees. I was told yes. In July, I went in to pay our normal rent and wasnt ever told about the late $5 from June (which we were told we were all paid up for June and July. I always ask.). I went into the hospital to have our child and when we got home we had notices of late fees from not paying the $5 back in june. I called to try to figure out where this $15 came from ($10 was late fees from the $5) and was told we would get a call back. Well 7 days later, they finally called us and hit us with an extra $70 in late fees!!! The manager and customer service office will not help us at all.
My daughter got her first apartment here. So far, seems like a good place. I cant really say more yet.
One star is being VERY GENEROUS. If you want your money stolen and to live in mold, move here! They forced me to live in black mold for over 3 months until I threatened lawyers. They also told me that they don’t prorate rent when you move out (which is a different story from what they told me 2 weeks prior) I have done no damage to this apartment but I was told to not expect my deposit AND I would have to pay for a full month’s rent ($520.) Get EVERYTHING in writing and don’t expect Lindsey management to help you. My family and I expect we will have to sue them for mistreatment and fraud.
My son lives here likes it says its quite and the apts are well maintained
It is a quiet clean place staff is good maintenance men are good when I put a work order in they are there as soon as they can when you have a problem you can go to the office they will try there best help when my husband lost his leg we were up stairs the staff work to get him down it is an awesome community
I live here...very nice.
Terrible place. Dirty lawn full of dog waste and rude neighbors cigarette tips. Unchained big dogs wondering around in the afternoon and evening. Disgusting carpet and broken appliances. Best part is no matter how many work orders one has signed and submitted, no one ever came to check or fix the problem. All they know is collecting the rent. Avoid the place.
I have been renting at spring lake apartments since summer 2014, since that time I have been living in two bedrooms and two bathrooms where the management team that consist of two worker who are deceiving as anyone could possibly imagine, I read the reviews about this complex before I moved in, but I thought that the tenets were just angry, but it turns out that everything that was typed was true!! what a nightmare... In fact the are rude and they are not friendly which is Im not looking for!! i just want them to be respectful with customers but they have no respect at all.Btw they renewed my lease automatically without tilling me!!
Where to start this place doesnt even deserve one star here is why. The place is infested with rats and spiders. The management and maintenance are absolutely worthless will not take care of anything. When asked all you get is bad attitude. You would be better off to be homeless then to live here. O and your deposit, you can forget about getting that back this place is nothing but a money scam. STAY AWAY you have been WARNED.
The worst apartments in Russellville. If you dont want your money, go to spring lake. There are some officers are rough and rude. They are looking for problems without real reason although I tried to be nice with them. They stole my deposit ($250) although my apartment was clean and I didnt break anything. They are looking for any reason to steal your money. I gave you my experience to be aware what is going on there and to save your money from stealing.
Super awesome place to live. I loved that when I moved in my dishwasher fell apart, the dryer didn’t actually dry and watch out the oven might catch on fire!! Also weeks after moving in the fridge stopped working so I put in a work order... put my food in the freezer to prevent waste. But wait the freezer breaks :) puts in another work order. (don’t do too many of these the main office is super mean and won’t like you). Also even though the apartments are outdated they are still considered entergy efficient!! My bill for a one bedroom was $194.57 but that’s because I’m not at home most of the time and keep all the lights off and work full time (staff says the reason by bill is high because I must have lots of things on, not the fact my air unit doesn’t work after putting in numous work orders). Don’t sign up for the 12 month lease, just because it saves you a little money it’s not worth it!
Brianna Shaub and Danny Goulding are terrible to work with. Very rude and not helpful what so ever. My company Leases apartments nationwide and I would say this is the worse experience with the on-site Leasing team I have experienced. DO NOT recommend this property.
Avoid Lindsey Managment if possible the company is rude and so are their employees. I called about the price differences in the one bedroom and their reasons were: some have ice makers in the refrigerator, some were built two years apart and the other reason I didnt care about listening too. So you telling me you charging me $505 for a freaking ice maker get out of here my parents pay that for their mortgage every month. I get it Russellville is a college town and people are trying to make a hot buck but damn at least be decent! If I knew these apartments were like this I would not have moved into any of the Lindsey Management properties! Im just ready for my lease to be up in October!!!!
The new management is much better, the place has its ups and downs but overall its a decent place to live for the money. Just dot your is and cross your ts when you move in, take photos the normal stuff for apartments that have corporate ownership.
The apartments themselves are not too bad. The management and maintenance, on the other hand, are the most unprofessional and rude people I have ever had to deal with. The sad part about the situation is that the apartments here are the nicest in Russellville, and because they have no competition for business the management can treat their renters however they want and we will still have to pay them rent every month. Some examples of what I am talking about are:1. Our oven went out so we put a work order in to get it fixed. And now, 5 weeks later, our oven is still not fixed. In fact, they have yet to even come to my apartment and check it out.2. In the month of April I went to get a cashiers check for $515 to pay my rent on the 1st. Then, on the 4th the management charged my bank account $515 (without my permission). So that month I paid $1030. And it took two weeks for them to return my money, leaving me broke and unable to afford my bills for 2 weeks.3. My apartment is upstairs and 4 weeks ago one of the concrete steps fell out so we went 2 weeks with a missing step. Which was very dangerous. And when I called to complain, they told me they were working on a solution. But Im pretty sure that was the first they had heard of it.Overall, if you are looking for a place to live in Russellville I suggest you stay far away from this apartment complex. It is just not worth your valuable time.
When my disposition came it said I owed $264.26. I called Spring Lake to figure out why I owed that much when I paid them my half of the rent on the 28th of June since I was moving out on the 30th before my lease was up. They claim its not in the books about me paying them the half of the $327.50. So, I asked for corporate number & they sided with the management at Spring Lake. I will never go back to that place. The manager Danny Goulding yelled at me Get Out the day I handed him the money order & I just walked away. The receptionist first said she remembered me paying my rent & then when she got off the phone to speak with Danny all of a sudden she no longer remembered me paying my rent. This place is corrupt. They plotted against me to save their own asses. It was their F up not mines & Im upset because I cant find the receipt between me moving from that place to my new place. I plan to sue this place for their wrongdoings. Dont ever expect to get your money back or to live happily there, management sucks & they are money hungry. They basically got free money from me because they dont even know where the money order is since its not in the books. Im so pissed I been crying it out. DONT EVER LIVE UNDER LINDSEY MANAGEMENT!
Where to start? The people who had the apartment before us moved out in the 28th.Spring Lake told us that our apartment would be ready by the 3rd of June. Its comes to the 3rd, we call, they tell us that its not ready yet, that it will be ready on the 5th.So, we call on the 4th, and ask when we can move in, they tell us it wont be ready until the 6th or 7th.. they Werent sureThe person who was moving in with me had come from Alabama with a Uhaul truck on the 2nd expecting to move in on the 3rd. So now she has to pay for four extra days of rental...We left.I got tired of them changing dates on us!If youre going to tell someone they can move in on the 3rd...then you better let them move in on the 3rd.Also!Good luck getting your safety deposit back!EVEN if you didnt move in or sign the lease yet!
Its kinda like living in a dorm but Im thankful for a place to live.
Horrible customer service. Never friendly, and do not expect your maintenance requests to be fulfilled. The apartments are gross as well! Ready to be out.
Needs lots of improvement. Way too pricey for what you get!
They took my deposit & told me when it would be ready. I called a week prior to move in day & was told it was ready. I went to sign lease & asked to see it first. It was FILTHY! Then the run-around began. Long story short I finally gave up & found another place. They refused to return deposit saying they never tell people when their unit will be available. (huh?!?) The guy who uses that lie isn’t even involved in what happened. They are super dishonest! The units look nothing like the model unit they show. I dodged a bullet!!! Please be warned. They seem very friendly but all is not as it seems!
Nice place.
WORST PLACE TO LIVE IN RUSSELLVILLE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!
Numerous problems and the management does not seem to want to help. Dirty carpet, air conditioning out numerous times, dishwasher, garbage disposal, wash machine all had issues.
My girlfriend lived there with a roommate but moved out over 4 years ago. Her old roommate died while still living there over a year ago, and my girlfriend just got a letter from a collection agency where this complex is trying to get her to pay $1400 of final fees. The collections letter is the first shes heard anything about it, and its going on her credit report within 30 days if she doesnt pay. Again, she hasnt lived there in over 4 years, and her roommate who did still live there has been dead for over a year.
Decent apts
Small apartments.
Rented here for two years and had to harass management to get anything done. Ended up fixing things myself. Had an issue with the automatic draft they set up for me when they forgot to draft my rent one month and proceeded to take 3 months to get it set back up for me. Couldnt wait to move out
Yep great
Staff is not helpful at all. Very rude and act like everything is an inconvenience for them.
Reasonable place to rent
Customer service & custodial service is horrible
THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE DO NOT RENT FROM THEM
