The guy on the desk has a very dry sense of humor. Hes a straight shooter. I think Hank Hill would be a little impatient with him at times--though he does have to put up with Gribbles shenanigans at times, so who knows?

Rented a tractor with front bucket and small backhoe, for the weekend. Got it home use it for about 2 hours on the first day. Next morning it wouldnt start. Had it for the weekend suppose to have it back by 7:30 Monday morning called them up and they brought me another tractor and give me 2 days to use it no extra charge. I thought that was great. They took care of me. Will definitely be going back for more, they were great to take care of the problem.

Staff were extremely patient and helpful. I called several times with questions. They gladly answered all of them. They made sure I had any adapters and supplies I might need. Even sending them with me. And, since we were able to wrap things up much faster than we expected, they refunded us and only charged a half day. Their prices were very reasonable, as well. I definitely recommend them.

The service here is courteous, friendly, and helpful. They have a large variety of tools and equipment for any job you have at home. I have rented from Central several times over the years and Ive always been pleased. I highly recommend them and will use them with any future needs.

Great customer service. Fair prices. Great selection. The equipment is always in good order. The counter folks are helpful at finding the right tools for the job. They ask what your doing and will offer better alternatives if what you request is not the right tool/equipment for your job. Ive rented here on multiple occasions and will continue to do so.

The service and staff are excellent!

The equipment is fine works mostly as it should. Store is clean and staff is friendly. Watch the numbers, I recently rented an item and was charged for an additional object they didnt load then during a mix if numbers (as if you were working with a bad car lot) I ended up just forgetting it and paying the additional money. Congrats on holding out. Next time I need an additional power washer I will just go purchase a new one. Its not the $10 its the principle.

I would stay away from this place. Absolute worst customer service Ive ever seen. They will not help you load a thing and theyll stand there and look at you while you have to do everything, even driving their excavator up on their trailer. They claim theyre not allowed to help the customer load equipment, even if its their own trailers. Then when you return the equipment, if you dont unload it just the way they want it, they say theyre going to charge you a $35 unloading fee. I suppose if I sent my wife to get a piece of equipment, they would expect her to load it by her self too? Equipment isnt filled with fuel so dont be surprised if its nearly empty when you pick it up. What a joke for a company. I usually thought the smaller guys would be better suited to helping the customer. I guess I was wrong. I asked to speak to the manager but they said he was out. Ill be using United Rentals from now on.

This place has a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Went above and beyond trying to sell me something. Just helpful, whether the solution benefited them or not 👍

Terrible experience. Needed a telehandler since I was working out of state. I got quoted a price before I came of about $1200 for the week. When I had gotten my bill they had charged me $1900 for the week to my credit card without even telling me. They charged me to fix the alternator belt that came off twice on their equipment. I was willing to absorb the time it cost me having to wait for the repairs but I was very upset I had to pay to fix their equipment. They were unwilling to take any responsibility for or give me any reimbursement. They cost me a lot of money. They told me they were the cheapest rental place in town. Now I know why. I have never written a review of a business on here, I have never needed to until this experience. My credit card info was taken advantage of and they took no responsibility for their equipment malfunctions. Do not rent from this place. There are other options in this area, I will be trying someplace else next time. Very frustrating.

Ive been renting equipment from these guys for years. I recently rented a trenching machine for a water line I was installing. The machine developed a hydraulic oil leak after a couple hours of use. They sent out a tech immediately and got the issue resolved. I was able to finish my trench and return the trencher later in the afternoon. They were very reasonable and only charged me for a half day. I have always been happy with their rentals, however Ive never had a problem with anything until now and they handled it perfectly. The blade spun off the jam saw I rented. I called to verify blade installation torque spec. The answer I received was we dont know. I asked about the owners manual....they didnt have one. They werent knowledgeable with this equipment. They told me to tighten the blade best I can and finish, we will look at it when you return it. This equipment had a tag that said ready to rent. Clearly it wasnt, and could have hurt myself or anyone else in the area.

Nice clean store. They have a very good variety of tools. Prices are reasonable. Only place in Pope County that actually carry tools to rent

Best rental place around, by far!!

Rented a piece of equipment and it broke down after two hours of operation. They sent a person out and he couldnt fix. Next morning sent another person and got it going. Electrical issue. After he left started having issues off and on. After a few more hours we gave up. Took machine back and their reply was sorry for the inconvenience heres a copy of your bill.

Great place of business under new owners!

Rented a piece of equipment and was a great place to do so. I was treated fairly, respectfully and shown an emense amount of patience escpecially by Eric Westcott whom was being given a hard time by my husband through no fault his own. Mr. Westcott was incredibly understanding calm helpful and all around a pleasure considering how some may have acted . Will use them again and again . Great job guys.
