I really am grateful for this place. It allows us to manage our own pool, ask questions and seek assistance without any problems. I recommend them to all my friends with pools.
Very mismanaged franchise. We contracted with them for weekly pool service. Since last April we gave had 4 different guys. What was once a reliable Friday morning schedule has been erratic sometimes showing up as late as 6:00 PM. One guy over salted our pool which we addressed ourselves after a month of little success 9n their part. This resulted in the replacement of the salt cell which they did give us a huge break on and promised better service and communication. No discernible improvement no return calls from the owner after I left 3 messages yesterday when they failed to show for there scheduled time then again when they didnt show for the later time I was given when I called and again after they left at 6:15 PM. Very disappointing.
Worst staff ever. The manager is lazy. I handed him a salt cell he told me it had no serial number that was a lie. Called Hayward tech support they told me where the serial number was. Then they tell me it has to be printed on a receipt. Outside they have a sign supporting pool contractors. False, they do everything in their power to make our job harder when we are trying to save customers money. Horrible experience. Adding on to respond to your comment on my review. Wrong. I asked him cmon why are you making this so hard for me he replied with it just has to be that way. Lazy people. I went to another pinch n penny took me 5 mins to get it warranty. Literally 5 mins and you guys telling me I don’t have sufficient information when I have it all for you like I did another other pinch penny. Don’t worry my boss has lunch with Hayward reps all the time. They’ll find out about your awful store soon.
I have been patronizing this business for 17 years now. Unfortunately this pool store has changed immensely from a 5 star service to 1 star service. Current staff is disorganized and unprofessional. Staff is easily overwhelmed by customers and this is reflected in their attitudes. This may be due to changes in ownership, management, and a high turn over rate. I will be taking my business to the Wellington location. I really hope that this store returns to its former glory. They used to be outstanding, not anymore I am sorry to report.
This was a truly terrible experience that I attempted several times to mend the situation which was the fact that they were not finishing their pool service jobs at any point. I was told I would get a refund and a manager would be calling me and every time I try to call and get them to call me back they don’t. Finally I for the owner to call me that it is urgent and did this not one not two but three times. I then took my issue to our community Facebook to see if this is the typical experience with them and I was immediately flooded by by community members with very similar stories and terrible experiences. They do not have a staff who is knowledgeable, they don’t hire good people, every time I call the store they don’t know anything and don’t know who to ask .. it’s madness honestly. They also raised their prices so that’s another reason to find any other company. Would not recommend to anyone!!! Beware!!
Very unprofessional! It took several weeks and multiple follow up emails just to get a proposal. I was told by Tony I was bothering him when I texted him on Sunday asking when they would be at my home to start the project. I own a business myself and understand my customers are top priority and need to be treated fairly for the service amd product they pay for. To tell a customer that they are bothering you after you fail to communicate and set the expectations accordingly is horrible.
Pinch a Penny services have become very dismal in the last six months. Each member that comes to my home changes repeatedly so that suggest either high turnover rate for their employees but nonetheless this is affected the service in my pool. I have unqualified individuals showing up at my home doing services but no one knows what needs to be done to my pool. I have had black algae on the side of my pool for six months each tech that comes out I have to make them aware that they’re supposed to get rid of that. I have met with multiple service managers at the Royal Palm location none of which have ever addressed this concern. I’m sure that the diamond Brite on my pool has been affected by this. I will be canceling my services,As this is just the last straw. I have had multiple issues in the past even spa service components being broken and not replaced only for me to discover them when I come home. I’ve even had a service tech leave the hose running in my pool all day.
Have been coming hear for years. Always get good service they usually meet me at my car and carry in my chlorine jugs and reload my refills in my trunk! Water testing is very good and they tell me exactly whats needed to balance my water.
AVOID THIS PLACE! The owner is extremely rude and the employees are lazy. My service was terrible will not be coming in ever again!
Way over priced!! They had what we needed when smaller stores didnt but mannnnnn we paid for it! Everything has huge markups.
They are probably run by democrats. I was told to leave the the store because I didnt have a mask on even after our great Governor Ron DeSantis eliminated the mask mandate

Convenient and affordable. Everyone is very nice and helpful with all my pool needs.
If you need some off the shelf pool accessories, chemicals, liquid chlorine, or filter/pump parts where you know exactly what you need, this place is convenient. The kid behind the “pool water tests” counter is always surly, civil but never polite. Their pool repair people disassembled my in floor filter system with a promise to return after they completed a job in, get this, Plantation. That was six months ago and my pool parts are still sitting outside. To top it all off they left me a tool and told me to finish getting the parts out myself.
I have had a great experience at this store. The owners are willing to work with you and the pool service is awesome. Evette, the owner, is really sweet and has a genuine concern for her customers. And Matt is just AWESOME! He fixed my pool and stabilized it. He is very good at what he does, it amazes me to see how much effort he puts in to his job.
Staff is always friendly. Store is clean.
They have most anything you need for your pool. And if they dont have if they will order it for you in most cases

Waste of time and money. The supervisor Cody is really rude and unprofessional. They are clueless about the order chemicals go in to start up a new pool. Everytime someone else would say something different and blame it on the other worker. They just want you to waste your money and buy more chemicals. Went to another pool store and it was such a better experience and finally the water is where it should be.
Took my pool cleaner in for repair. The repair guy showed me exactly what was wrong and said I would have it back by Monday. Fantastic selection and employees are very helpful.
The team here is amazing. Very knowledgeable and always super friendly. Twice I was a late comer when they close and they treated me like I was their first customer of the day. I love coming here.
This use to be a good store with good people.I had been a costumer for over 15 years.Today I was in there for the seventh time in 5 weeks trying to get my pool clear. I was treated rudely by a employee named Brad. After some word and seeing he had no idea of what he was doing, he just turns away and leaves me standing at the counter.This is a sign of someone who should not be in costumer service at all, especially when he puts down his watering testing employees and says some of them do not know what they are doing. I will never be back and I will spread the word!!!

Good storefront but very bad home service. They never call you back and only show up when they say they will if they are selling you something. Actual installation or full service is on their., whenever, schedule. My pool has been green for over a week and they do not seem to care. Their best guy is on it. Their best get let it turn and stay green.
Staff tries really hard to assist you, but their computer system needs to be upgraded. I spent over 20 mins waiting for the poor employee to update/fix my customer account. Other than that, I have had no problems getting courteous service.

Great selection of Big Green egg supplies. I like the pool supplies and pool toys but compared to walmart or amazon for comparable items...way expensive.
Do not use for repair. Send detailed report with issues, they have been back 3 times and I still have leaks. First sold me pump housing then say I need new pump. I would not recommend at all. Very unprofessional.
I hired this company to do an acid wash on my pool. They ran my pump dry and it overheated. The motor seized and they refused to do anything about it. They also spilled acid on my hand rail. They also refused to repair or replace it. They wont return my phone calls. I will never do business with this company again
