Everyone here is absolutely amazing! I had 2 teeth extracted in one visit and I didn’t even feel a thing! Absolutely no pain or pressure. The team is so supportive and I have been coming here for years now, as does the rest of my family. I actually dont mind going to the dentist. I like the texts you get about appointment reminders and I really like how comfortable the process is on your teeth. Whats terrible about the dentist is being uncomfortable or have pain caused in your mouth. Ive been here a couple times before and I didnt feel uncomfortable at any of these appointments either. They take good care of you. Friendly staff. They remember you from your previous visits. I also like that prices seem low. I always leave feeling like I shouldve paid more. Ill keep going back.

Dr. Bussell and his staff provides hands down the best experience Ive ever had at a dentist. The amount of empathy, sympathy, and compassion the entire team shows toward their patients is very respectable; trust me, you will feel loved. Dr. Bussell really takes the time to explain every procedure thoroughly, and steps you can take to have better oral health. The website is also well built and user friendly, it was easy to navigate it and request an appointment, and fill out the necessary forms online. And lastly, do not be afraid! Dr. Bussell is extremely talented at what he does; I just had a root canal done there today, the techniques he used to apply local anesthesia made it so I couldnt even feel the needle go in. The entire procedure was expertly done and now the pain Ive been feeling for months is finally gone for good. One more thing I would like to mention, the prices are good; so dont be like me (having to get a root canal) and visit often!

Not sure how they have 5 stars and such good reviews after just speaking with a staff member today. I emailed them to request and emergency appointment for a broken, painful tooth. Being 40 weeks pregnant I don’t have much time to spare and can’t have this turn into an infection. After waiting for a response back that I didn’t get, I called. This rude lady answered and said “oh you’re the pregnant one” yeah do you have insurance. I told her no I’ll be self pay.....then she changed her tone to this demeaning degrading voice and said well it’s starts at 350$...okay why are you trying to imply that I can’t pay that? Also then she said I’ll need to get an okay from your dr. (Still rude as ever) well obviously I know that. He will be fine with an extraction but at that point I was already so annoyed with her attitude I hung the phone up. Treat people better, especially during these times and don’t ever assume people can’t afford a service. Rude lady.

I went in for a cleaning and X-ray, the hygienist did a great job and she really took her time with me. It did not feel rushed or painful. At the end of my cleaning, she explained to me her concerns and how I could improve them. Then, Dr. Bussell came in to examine me and address any concerns I may have. He explained everything to me in such a caring manner. I will be going back to this office in the future. Clean and courteous staff.

I had a very good experience at Dr. Bussell’s office. The doctor himself emailed me back after hours because I submitted an online request, saying that I had a toothache. They fit me in quickly and took great care of me. The doctor explained the cost that I could expect before I came in and what my next steps would likely be for my toothache.The dental technician and front desk staff person were both very kind and professional.My one issue is that outside of my actual dental exam, it seemed that the office wasn’t very consistent with wearing masks. When they let me into the office, everyone had on a mask. During the exam, when my mouth was wide open, The doctor and tech both had on masks. After that, though, things got a bit more lax. It made me somewhat uncomfortable. I wanted to put on my own mask, but I didn’t want to make anyone else feel awkward. It was a strange, social expectation kind of thing. I’m sure it wouldn’t have bothered many people, but I’m watching the news say that the COVID numbers are going up, so it did make me concerned.I feel bad even talking about the masks because, honestly, other than that, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had a dentist. I mean, come on, the dentist himself emailed me back in the evening on a weekend. That’s unheard of. They were so caring. I’ll definitely come back here when I need a cleaning in about a month. They were lovely human beings to interact with.Update: The woman at the front desk personally called me to apologize about the lack of masks, and assured me that they are all making an effort to wear them consistently and generally do. I apparently caught them at a time they had just momentarily forgotten. I was impressed that they reached out. That was huge.

I had a very good experience. They called me to confirm the day before my appointment. I was sent a Covid questionnaire before my appointment. My temp was checked at the door. Everyone was very nice and professional during my appointment.

I absolutely love Dr. Bussell, I have been going there since I was pregnant with my now 15-year-old son I had a bad experience with someone that actually worked in that office before he took over. It traumatized me but Dr. Bussell helped me out and made everything OK for me again so much that I have referred him to anyone who asks about going to the dentist! My mother my daughter both are patients of his and now my other daughter will be too!! He is the most caring, compassionate and understanding and not just as a dentist but as a human being I have ever encountered in the medical field!! My favorite dentist and office staff ever! For once I actually enjoy going to the dentists thanks to Dr. Bussell and his staff. Making an appointment is very easy. Dr. Bussell takes the time to explain proper dental care and the procedures he perform. My cleanings are pleasant with his staff, my teeth are cleaner, and my teeth are straightened too! I’m excited to maintain my dental care with this office as I am very satisfied so far. I had 9 cavities fixed ( I neglected my teeth, my fault), deep cleanings/cleanings, and I just went through a clear correct treatment that helped straighten my teeth and close my gap. Friendly and helpful at the front desk. After my long time dentist and hygienist retired, I decided to find an office closer to my home. A friend recommended Dr. Bussell. I was nervous, but I got an appointment with Tonya for a cleaning and she did a great job of making me feel comfortable. Afterwards, I made an appointment for my six month follow-up cleaning. Dr. Bussell came in after my cleaning and checked my x-rays and he was very informative about what he saw and I really liked his manner. So glad I decided on this dental office.

I am so thankful for this understanding and helpful office. I called at 8:30am on a Monday with an extremely painful tooth - they squeezed me in at 11:30am and worked through their lunch .. the Dr made me feel comfortable and was so quick .. I was not once in pain while he was working on me. I am only sad that I do not live in the area to make this place my regular dentist .. but I will be trying to get as much work done here as possible while I am !!!

Dr Bussell and his team are understanding, friendly and caring people, when you go there you feel comfortable. Every time before Dr Bussell does a procedure, he explains exactly what he is going to do and how its going to feel during and after. I recently took my father to Dr Bussell for implants surgery. My dad is 86 years old and has early stage of Alzheimers, so for us confort and security was very important. After consulting other doctors we decided to go with Dr. Bussell and were very happy we did, his whole staff was amazing from the receptionist to the chair side assistant, they all made sure that my dad was comfortable through the whole procedure. My hygienist was sweet as pie, and read a magazine with me while the dentist ran around. They fit me in immediately, when I told them I was in pain, and took care of me even though I was a first-time patient and they were busy with other patients. I was reluctant to seek a new dentist and after avoiding the dentist for over 10 years. I started my journey after a recommendation from my mother stating that I should try out Dr. Steven Bussell. After my first initial cleaning had concluded. I felt a sense of ease with the friendly staff and true professionalism of everyone that I had met. I knew the road ahead of me would not be easy, but I always felt as Dr. Bussell always had my best interest at heart. I never felt judged or worried about the damage that I had caused over the past ten years of neglect. I can honestly say after multiple fillings, extractions, crowns, clear correct aligners and KÖR whitening. I now smile with confidence in pictures thanks in part to the continued dedication and professional work of Dr. Bussell and his highly skilled team. Dr bussell was great. I have a lot and I mean a lot of dental work done in Chicago but this was my first implant and first visit to Dr Bussell. Very happy with the temp and the implant placement was a breeze. expecting the rest of the process to be as smooth... can’t recommend enough at this stage.

After being repeatedly unhappy with multiple doctors.As same doctors on different visits are inconsistent about whats wrong with my teeth and what I need to do with them. I looked up doctors on Google kept reading reviews and decided to go with Dr Bussell. I was very pleased to see that him and all his stuff are professional, he is very friendly and all most of all seemed honest and upfront about everything. The costs seen reasonable even without insurance. I have bee here twice so far. I plan on going back for all future dental work within this doctors expertise including regular cleaning.

From the moment we walk in, Loriel always makes me smile and feel at home. This was my son’s first visit and he was very nervous. The hygienist Kristen was fantastic as She was able to warm up to Lawrence quickly, making him feel very comfortable. She clearly has experience working with children as her bright and bubbly personality kept my son calm and happy throughout the cleaning. My regular maintenance visit yesterday was highlighted by the fact that I had lost a old filling recently and the hygienist asked Dr. Bussell to take a look at it. I assumed it would be a couple of weeks in order to replace the lost filling; however Dr. Bussell indicated his previously scheduled patient had cancelled his appointment and that he could take care of it then. I was very pleased that he and his assistant were very professional and took care of the problem in less than one additional hour.

Great staff, great dentist who isvery adept administering injections when needed (Im needle-phobic). Had a wisdom tooth pulled a couple of days ago with no pain during or after procedure. Im a new patient, I developed severe pain in one of my teeth over the long holiday weekend.I was referred to this office by a trusted friend. I emailed them Monday morning before office hours and by 8:30am I was on my way to there office. By 10:00 I was on my way home. Very very Satisfied will the entire operation.

WOW...I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Bussell and his staff. From the moment I walked through the door, Loriel greeted me at reception with such a light, pleasant and reassuring presence. She is fantastic with people, and most importantly knows her stuff and is incredibly helpful. I, like most people, am terrified of the dentist and had avoided dealing with a very sick tooth until I came in to see Dr Bussell for the first time in need of an extraction. He was receptive, listened to me, took as much time answering questions etc as I needed, and explained everything he was doing so it was not so overwhelming to me. One thing he said to me was that he would not want to feel pain if he had to have a procedure done, so why would he allow any of his patients to feel pain. He explained that due to the deteriorated state of my tooth, it may take a while to completely get it out, perhaps even taking it out in pieces would be necessary. I braced myself and took some deep breaths during the initial pressure knowing I had a long road ahead of me.. Then, in what seemed like seconds, he put his tools down and said there, its out. I had to wait until he repeated himself! What a different, pleasant experience. I even made a follow up appointment for some more work in a few weeks....something I have NEVER done at the dentist before. I feel so lucky to have come accross this amazing practice, I highly recommend them to anyone!

This office is awesome. I hadnt been to the dentist in probably a decade and was suffering the consequences of it. Broken filling and impacted wisdom teeth were causing me constant discomfort. Called for appt on Thursday morning, and office staff were compassionate and asked if I would like to come in next day, which I thought was great. I had expected the next week, so I was already happy with how things started.I was called Friday early afternoon to let me know of a cancellation and would I like to come in earlier. Arrived and was welcomed by friendly staff and Dr Bussell. Nobody made me feel stupid/guilty for having not taken better care of my dental needs. Xrays and diagnosis was quick and efficient. While Dr. Bussell did recommend a surgeon for my wisdom teeth, he recommended a course of correction for my broken filling that could be started immediately. This included a root canal (which of course had me fully expecting to be in pain during and after. I was very pleasantly surprised to not have any pain during or after the procedure. Dr. Bussell even checked in on me later that night to see how I was doing and let me know if I needed anything to give him a call. Thats incredible in this day in age when many in healthcare are impersonal.Happy to have found my new dentist.

I have not been to the dentist in sooo long! But a broken front crown made me go. I found Dr. Bussell online. The remainder of my front tooth actually broke into my crown when it came off. Dr Bussell put a post in, re-created a tooth and I have a temporary one for now. I have 2 scheduled deep cleaning sessions then will have permanent crown put in. I was super nervous and scared but let me tell you, besides a second pinch of the novacaine, I felt absolutely nothing else and at ease. The procedure was painless and quick. He is the best, his assistant was gentle and kind and Loriel and Kirsten in the front office are amazing! Prices can’t be beat either! I’m so grateful God put these people in my life. I’ve already set appointments for all my kids cleanings as well.
