This was a hard process for the family but they were so compassionate, professional and were there to the last minute for us and made the experience smooth. Mrs. Shama is very compassionate she made sure everything was perfect. Excellent Customer Service and Great attention to details.The staff at Lakeside Memorial were extremely helpful, available and provided all the information we needed to make the recently passing of my Dad much more bearable. We had two services, one in Greenacres and one in Miami to facilitate easy traveling for friends and family, this required much planning and coordination. Lakeside ensured that there were no hitches and everything was on time. I should mention that we are from the Islands, so this was a mighty task.Great care was taken of my Dad, he was neat and presented well. It was truly lovely to see the beautiful coordination of the colors of the wreaths flowers and coffin. The escort services that accompanied the procession did a great job, ensuring our safety and arrival in Miami. All told both services and the graveside rites were done by within 5 hours from 10am 3pm.Way to go Lakeside!!!!. I would like to say that the staff at Lakeside Memorial Chapel did an absolutely amazing job. My brothers home going service was 2 1/2 weeks ago. The service was beautiful and my brother looked like he was never sick a day in his life. Our entire family was very pleased. The set-up and presentation was beautiful. Even after the funeral day had passed, Shama has since checked in on me and my family by phone at least three times. At a very difficult time for our family, Shama and her team of professional caring individuals helped us beyond compare. We endured a heartbreaking and unexpected loss. With never having experienced the planning that goes into a funeral, we needed guidance. She accommodated our every request including a service with one day notice to allow visiting family to attend. As I sit here and write tearing are falling down my eyes, I just want to start off by saying Lakeside Memorial Chapel is the best, I have never met so many, professional, nice respectful, nice people in my life, They are on point!!!!, Lakeside was very affordable, Compared to anyone else in Palm Beach County, where ever I had a questions about any thing they were there with no questions asked, I will very highly recommend anyone to come here in a time of a loss one, My grandmother passed away on 09/02/15 and we had her funeral on 09/11/2015, The service was very beautiful and the staff had everything set up so beautiful my grandma was very beautiful, I was very impressed,Again I cant thank Lakeside Memorial Chapel Greenacres enough on how such a wonderful job they did and how they treated my family and I, Thank you and may God continue blessing everyone at Lakeside Memorial Greenacres. .Love Brandy Jordan and family

My family and I had spoken to the funeral home director prior to our mother’s death because we knew her death was imminent. We were very impressed with their compassion; so, we had already decided that we were going to use Lakeside Memorial Capel/Greenacres even before her death. Our mother passed awaythe very next day, and from the very beginning we were treated with the utmost professionalism and compassion! We were extremely pleased with the promptness in which our calls/questions were answered. Our mother looked beautiful and the coordination of the funeral service was impeccable!

This was by far the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. When my 4 month old daughter passed away, we called Lakeside and went with them solely because she passed on the 4th of July at 3am and a lot of funeral homes werent opened or available. When a young unprofessional man arrived, he came to the room in which we were in with my daughter empty handed. There was never an stretcher or cart to put her in. He simply put a sheet over her and carried her down the hall, into the elevator passing many nurses stations and rooms and finally down to the main entrance valet. I felt so confused. He put her in the back seat without being tied to anything. The hospital was located in Hollywood and he drove with her to their location in Lake Worth like that. Once I met with them a few hours later. I was immediately uncomfortable. I did not like the appearance of the box they call a funeral home. The younger woman tried to MAKE me go with their bigger room located a few minutes away that looked like a warehouse. She tried for a while to convince me, after repeatedly telling her I was not satisfied with this funeral home, she sucked her teeth and gave me attitude and went along and said well, you still need to pay. Which was fine besides the added dramatic effect. I had asked another young man where was my daughter and he said shes being refrigerated. Yes she was no longer here, but how disgusting and improper to tell a woman who had just lost her only child shes being refrigerated. The horror I had imagined when I could of simply been told, shes in another room. After I paid the transportation fee, the woman told me okay were done here you can leave I left hurting 10 times over especially that I had to leave my child in their hands while another funeral company picked her up. The next day was her funeral and the position she was in was affected by the position the Lakeside had left her. They never put her in a proper position therefore was leaning her head to the side during her viewing. They were extremely unprofessional, rude, careless and overall horrible. They have made this experience worse.

During one of the most difficult times in our lives, Shama was extremely supportive. We received the best service and follow up at all times. I would highly recommend them.

Shama and the staff at Lakeside were nothing but perfect from the very start. They put all of us at ease with how curtious and professional they were during this difficult time. We had many questions and concerns after the passing of my Grandmother and they were there for the entire family, even late at night.

When my beloved mother died unexpectedly, I had no idea what to do or where to start. I had been fortunate and never had to plan a funeral before. I began googling funeral homes and came across Lakeside Memorial Chapel in Greenacres. There were very positive reviews about the staff and the care that was shown to the family and to the loved one that had passes away. My sister and I made an appointment with Shama the next day. Shama made us feel at ease and walked us through every step of the process. She always made us feel at ease and treated our questions and concerns with compassion and the utmost professionalism. Shama made sure that every wish we had for the service was carried out, from the beautiful casket arrangement to my mothers favorite songs being played. The most touching and memorable part of the service was the picture slide show that they prepared. It was like they had known my mom for years. It was a befitting tribute for my mother who was loved so deeply. If you find yourself in need of a place to treat you, your family, and your loved one who has passed with compassion and care, then I would suggest using Lakeside Memorial Chapel of Greenacres. My family and I will be forever grateful to Shama and the rest of the staff there for the kindness and care that we were shown.

Let me just start by saying how thoughtful and compassionate that Shama was to myself and my family, the death of a loved one is not an easy thing to deal with and she and her staff guided us though this hard time as if they were part of our family. My Aunt Carmen passed away suddenly on October 19th in Fort Lauderdale where she resided. I reside in Canada and wasn’t sure what I was going to do. My aunt’s son, Rudolph, resides in California. I called a member of my aunt’s church to ask for assistance.He recommended Lakeside Memorial Chapeland said he would ask Shama Rhoden to contact me which she did immediately. I explained our situation to her and she assured me that she would do her utmost to assist the family and said that I could call her 24 hours a day. We spoke regularly prior to my departure from Canada to Fort Lauderdale and again upon my arrival in Fort Lauderdale she continued her contact with us.
