It is coming up on a year when I received the order for my daughters wedding invitations. They were absolutely PERFECT and set the tone for her wedding that we have since themed Where the tree tops glistened. The quality was fantastic, and we had so many compliments. Ok, total honesty here. I am local and wanted a local company, usually that means a LOT more money. Not here. I got lucky with Dreaming in Paper! First off the communication with Shylah/the Office was exceptional. Any and all questions were answered very quickly via email (only thing I would improve is having a phone number that could connect you to someone, but it’s just a preference, and the way Shylah responds to emails is frankly amazing. I wouldn’t get the phone going until they really become a huge company!) ok, on to my invitations. I was a bit of a problem child wanting to make a kind of Frankenstein monster of an invite (ooo this outside, that inside, that card, etc.), she worked with me and helped me navigate everything, and even helped me stay in my budget! At that point I didn’t mind going slightly over because of the attention to detail, but she really made sure I didn’t, and I couldn’t be happier. DiP made the most beautiful invites ever! I got the laser cut invites and they are GORGEOUS! To save some money I’m assembling them myself, but I kinda like that type of thing... here’s my advice to the brides out there: forget Etsy (they take a HUGE chunk from the artists, and are difficult to deal with), go here, my experience has been that I have been treated fairly, kindly, and they always went the extra mile to make sure I was a happy little bride! Also, when you do go here, take the time and get the sample pack, it really helps to see and feel all the options. My fiancé (who has been surprisingly quite involved) changed his mind twice after actually seeing and feeling the samples. HE got excited about INVITES! Plus they are so understanding about COVID cancellations, and try to help out with a discount (as of writing this).
