I was visiting from North Carolina. When my 19 yr old Chihuahua passed my mom was referred to them. Mike was so wonderful and compassionate and answered questions and so so caring. I am grateful to them. Pricing was comfortable(especially since we were travelling). Thank you for bringing extra comfort to myself and my family and giving me peace of mind about my baby girl.

When I Lost my Great Dane 3 days ago, unexpectedly to bloat I was devastated. I called them 10 mins before closing. They waited for me to get there. They were kind and professional. Her ashes were back home in less than 24 hours. The following night I had to put my English Mastiff to sleep do to seizures. Once again they came through. They made every attempt to make the process as easy as possible. They gave me the option to say my last good bye and that meant more then they will ever know. It was worth the drive.

My Great Pyrenees died unexpectedly last night. My son found them for us at 1am. When I called this morning I was greeted with compassion and professionalism. They had someone out in 2 hours to take him. I am grateful for their service so far as this has been absolutely devastating to our family. Unfortunately, I have a senior dog who doesnt have much time left and I will be using them again...but fortunate I now have this resource.

Faithful Companion is an amazing, compassionate business whose employees clearly put their heart into their work. My partner and I missed the delivery driver dropping off our cats ashes by less than ten minutes, so we called Faithful Companion and the driver actually turned around and delivered Teddy Bears ashes to us within about 30 minutes of us calling. That driver is truly a hero to us, and Faithful Companion has our forever gratitude for their respect and helpfulness. As well, the small wooden urn we received Teddys ashes in is of wonderful quality and clearly made with love and Teddys memory in mind. Thank you to the driver who turned around for us, and thank you Faithful Companion for your respect and care in this difficult time for us.

When our 12 year old dog Moose passed at home, we couldve chose services closer to home, but we went with our vets recommendation and are so glad we did. All of the employees of Faithful Companion were extremely compassionate and professional. I was able to spend as much time as needed saying my final goodbye and Moose was handled with care and respect. Moose was returned home to us the very next day again by a very compassionate employee who made the situation more comforting. We cannot thank them enough for their outstanding customer service.

I highly recommend Faithful Companions to take care of your pet at the worst time imaginable.There is no way to avoid the pain a pet owner goes through when they have to say goodbye to their beloved pet. All anyone can do is try to make the process just a little better, if at all possible and that is what Faithful Companions does.My precious dog’s remains were hand delivered to me the day after his passing. He was euthanized at home by Lap of Love and taken to Faithful Companions immediately. On a Sunday no less, and a wonderful Faithful Companions representative handed me his remains the very next day. I am glad that my precious boy is home. It offers a little bit of comfort.

Unfortunately, I have had to visit here more than once due to having so many animals pass over the last few years. They have always been absolutely perfect at helping us grieve our pet and celebrate them in a way we see fit without any pressure. They are also the lowest price around and with this kind of exceptional service, it is a rare occurrence. We prefer to bring our pet here rather than have the vet do it. I feel it is like having a funeral for your pet and really aids in the grieving process. Then they deliver back.. Anyway, I would recommend them to everyone!!!

I would highly recommend Faithful Companion for the cremation of your pet. They did an excellent job with my dog Sadie. I received an engraved urn and paw print their service is top notch. I had my girl back within 24 hours hand delivered to my door. They did a beautiful job in my time of need. I cant thank them enough.

My beloved friend (Cooper), of 15 years passed a few weeks ago. I entrusted Faithful Companion to handle Cooper’s aftercare. I cannot express enough, the outpour of empathy and compassion Faithful expressed. I truly encountered two of the most kind and compassionate individuals I have ever met. Those being, Patti and Dan! Patti sat with me, expressed her condolences and support. Her patience and kindness will never be forgotten. Dan was just as wonderful. He allowed me to stay with Cooper as long as I needed. Dan was gentle with Cooper as he laid him in his final “bed”. He spoke to me with a compassion and kindness in his voice that I will always remember. A couple days ago we had to unexpectedly euthanize our beloved cat, Galileo. We loved him fiercely and he was very special to our family. They were so kind and helpful throughout the process, especially since understandably I have been a blubbering mess since! His ashes were delivered to my doorstep the next morning. Over the years we have taken 2 dogs and 1 cat to this place. They seriously treat you like it was your mother or father that has passed. So caring and compassionate no matter what comes through their doors. I truly cant express my gratitude for everything they do. I recently ordered a necklace with our dogs nose on it and I sent an email on Christmas eve asking for the picture of his nose taken years ago. Christmas day they emailed me back...Christmas day! They should have been with their families but they still took the time to respond to me. I will never go anywhere else but faithful companion. ❤

After my dog passed away I got ahold of Faithful Companions. The people that worked there were like a God send. From my initial call to them coming and getting my dog and then bringing his ashes back the next day they were great. I would recommend them to anyone. I wish I could give more than 5 stars

After a difficult year of declining health, my boy Sammy crossed the rainbow bridge on Monday. It was really difficult saying goodbye to my best pal of 15 years. Wow I am blown away at how respectful and compassionate this company operates. The people who work there were amazing and the process of picking up my fur baby was beyond sad and scary for me and I didn’t know what to expect. Once they left I knew my dog was being cared for and respected and not tossed out like a piece of trash. I am so glad I called them. Their prices are a lot lower than other places I’ve seen and the following day they delivered a clay paw print to my house in a bag filled with grief support information and the info to the dog cemetery that he’s going to. Thank you for making an unbearable situation bearable. It meant the world to me.

We can’t thank Faithful Companion enough for their services at our most devastating times losing our Beloved Max so suddenly. They handled all the arrangements so we didn’t have to. Everyone I dealt with was so warm and thoughtful. It made a very difficult situation much more bearable. I regret not getting the names of the people I interacted with, but the gentleman picking up our Jackson was very patient and kind. The other gentleman who dropped him off the next day was equally kind and warm...and even shared with me that he, also, recently lost his dog (my sincere condolences to him). I rarely leave reviews, but Faithful Companion deserves one. They truly respect the gravity of what is happening.

Cant say enough positive words about their work. We helped our sweet Roxy pass with the aid of Dr Sarah through Lap of Love (who was equally amazing), and she let us know she went through Faithful Companion and that she wouldn’t trust anyone else with her own pets - they really do things differently there. This put us at ease right away. Roxy became an angel Friday evening, and we had her ashes back today, Sunday early afternoon. We called a few times, hoping not to be a bother or be annoying but just being the worried and anxious pet owners we are after going through something so traumatic. They helped us with kindness and even offered some reassuring words that we should try to have a relaxing evening and they’d take good care of Roxy. They hand delivered her in her beautiful box to us, and of course I started crying as soon as I saw them. It was quite a long drive for them as well for such a quick handoff but we are so thankful for this. While mourning our baby Roxy we both did not feel like doing much of anything, and the fact they can provide a delivery for someone hours away was amazing. Don’t hesitate to trust them with your beloved pets, they have so much compassion and care for what they do.

Im late to write this review, but my experience with Faithful Companion has stuck with me. About 5 months ago, my 14 year old boxer passed away peacefully but very suddenly at home. I was overwhelmed with shock and grief and was not prepared. My vet directed me to Faithful Companion, and I am so grateful I brought my boy to them. With covid social distancing in place, they had us pull up to the garage where a young man was waiting for us with a nice box/coffin to move him right into. He gave his sincere condolences, was so professional, and made the process smooth and easy. The service that touched me the most was the delivery of his ashes. The next morning a very kind man came to my house saying Im bringing Roscoe back home to you. Im still tearing up thinking about it. Ill try to keep this review from turning into a novel, so Ill end it with saying that Faithful Companion delivered more kindness, compassion, and professionalism than I ever could have expected. When you find yourself in those shoes, on that heartbreaking day, thats really what you need. From the bottom of my heart, Thank You.

I have had to use their services twice in the last 10 years. The emergency vet I took my cats to uses their service. The last time, I got the ashes the next evening. A kind man brought me Boos ashes in a small bag. In the bag was a beautiful cherry wood box, a card, and a bookmark with the poem Rainbow Bridge. While the cost is a little more than what I paid at my regular vet, I had to go to the vet to pick up the ashes and they were in a metal tin. They do have drop off service if your pet dies at home. Hope not to use again soon, but glad they are there when needed.

I have used faithful companion cremation services more than once over many years. Just recently this past summer my chihuahua passed away and even though that experience was very sad, the faithful companion staff were just amazing. Someone even drove to my house to deliver my pet urn and place the ashes inside.Thank you so so much for all of your kindness and generosity.

Jake delivered K.W to me today and on the phone he was so compassionate and accommodating, he did not refer to K.W as anything less than a member of my family. Words cannot describe how incredible this place and these workers are. They are all so patient, caring, and understanding. This is not an easy time for anyone when they have to visit this business, but the compassion from the employees helps ease the process. They offer home delivery in which they contact you prior to coming and set up a time to drop off your lost companion, or vet clinic drop off so you can pick the remains up when you are ready. They have so many options to commemorate your pet from fancy urns, to personalized keepsakes like jewelry or cremains holders. Trust this business with your fur babies.

I have never been disappointed with them before today. Last week my pet mouse passed away and I had her cremated and paid extra for a “paw” print. When I got it home this print included all four paws and a print of her tail, I was so happy with this. So when I had to have another mouse euthanized yesterday, and had her cremated, I didn’t expect any different. I got her home today to find the print only contains her paws, no tail. Their tail is such an important part of who they are, in her final days she kept wrapping her tail around my fingers, I feel as though I didn’t get all of her home with me today. I called and apparently the person who included the tail for the first one, went out of policy because if you want any other body part than the paws included you need to ask, if I were aware of this I would have asked. I feel like I didn’t get the closure that I needed from this today, I’m very upset.

We have nothing but the highest praise for the professional calmness and the empathy shown at Faithful Companion. The impact, of the ending of a 12 year bond with our dog Cooper, was lessened by the way they proceeded. This was a great first step in helping with the grieving process. During such a difficult and heartbreaking time, Faithful Companion gave us the gift of having our sweet boy’s ashes back home the very next day after his passing. Not only did we receive them quickly, but the were returned in the most beautiful wooden box with our boy’s name and nickname engraved in gold on the top of it. We are so grateful for their services and highly recommend them to anyone who has lost their beloved animal companions.

My daughters ferret, Henry, passed away yesterday around 1:30pm. She was heartbroken, after caring for him for months while he wasn’t feeling well. After quite a few vet visits to try and find out what was wrong with him, we found out he had a neurological issue, and he was started on an antibiotic. She loved him, and would cuddle him during the day/night. He passed away peacefully in her arms, during his last nap with her yesterday. Our cat Gamo had a rough year of being sick and failed treatment. We decided 4 weeks ago to do pallative care. Yesterday we had to let him go over the rainbow bridge. The staff that met us when we dropped him off were so kind and caring. They were also professional and explained everything that would happened after we dropped him off. He was delivered back home to us this morning. We can not thank you enough for caring for our baby. Thank you!

I have never met an organization that everyone you talk to has such compassion for you and your situation.We recently lost our beloved Coco and there was a mix-up from the veterinarians office on the delivery of her cremains and also the material they used for her paw print. One of your drivers (it might have been Art) made sure our girl was returned on 5/11 (we lost her on 5/10) and Im sure they had to squeeze in the stop because of the mix-up. But they were so kind and compassionate when they brought her and it was so very comforting.On 5/12 I called your office to see if there was anything that could be done to get a more permanent paw print and Patti from your team jumped into action and assisted us in getting a new paw print in clay from the paw print the veterinarians office used. It turned out beautiful and Patti personally called me several times throughout the process to ensure everything was perfect. Ray, one of the drivers who picked up the piece so the clay print could be made was so kind and also called to make sure everything turned out. Every single person we interacted with from Faithful Companions were so very, very kind and compassionate and I cannot express how much it meant to my entire family that although our paths hadnt crossed until 5/11/20 they treated us like family and made sure at a difficult time of losing our fur baby they did whatever they could to help us to bring her home and have a keepsake.Again, thank you to the entire Royal Oak team we truly appreciate everything you did and we want to pass along our sincerest gratitude.

We unexpectedly had to put down our chi yesterday around 5pm which is obviously the end of the day and let alone a Friday. I contacted faithful companion, within an hour a driver was there to pick up our dogs remains. They made the process unbelievably easy at a very difficult time for us. We received the remains in less than 24 hours delivered to our home in a beautiful wooden urn and a clay paw print, both engraved with his name Chico. This company epitomizes professionalism and empathy as they truly care about the animal as well as the owners. They are a first rate company would recommend them without hesitation for your beloved animals needs.

I am a licensed veterinary technician and most places I have worked utilize their services. They have always been very kind and professional. It was only until recently when I lost my best friend, Loki, a 16.5 year old Jack Russell, that I had experienced their service first-hand from the clients perspective. I drove Loki from Michigan State University all the way to Royal Oak on Labor Day weekend. I was so so very thankful that they were there on a weekend, and a holiday weekend at that. Erik was so kind, patient, and compassionate. They cremated Loki right then. I went out to eat and came back and he was ready for me to take home. At first I thought having to bring him to the facility would upset me more but afterwards, I was so glad that I did it and I feel like it brought me more comfort during a very painful time than leaving him at MSU to be picked up. Faithful Companion was recommended by our vets office, and considering the circumstances, we couldnt have been more pleased with their services. Staff were extremely professional and compassionate. The death of our beloved dog Zorro was sudden and unexpected, and they were able to come out the same night to pick him up and returned his ashes the next day as promised. When Zorros ashes were brought to us the following evening, the presentation and delivery of what was brought to us was beautiful and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing a cremation service for their pet.

Our cats cremations were returned 17 hours (not days) on a holiday (Memorial Day). The gentleman who dropped him off to our home was sympathetic and compassionate to our situation. As difficult it was to have to put a family member to sleep we could not ask for a more beautiful experience. This will be the only service we will use in the future!

Faithful Companion was recommended by my vet in Ann Arbor and I’m so grateful to them for the kind and professional manner in which they picked up my sweet cat Buddy. I had opted for an in-home euthanasia and was so thankful they came all the way to Ann Arbor at 11pm to pick him up. I was also very grateful they returned him home the next evening. I’ve used Faithful Companion twice. The first time was in 2013 and the second time was yesterday (2/14/2020). Both times the experience was exceptional. I can’t say enough about the compassion and kindness of this group. The man I spoke to on the phone a few days ago to set up the pickup was so nice and got all the information correct, including the spelling of my name and my dog’s name. Jacob came to pick up my pup. He was so friendly and did not rush us at all in any decisions. He treated my dog’s body with such gentleness and seemed to really care. Terry brought the cremains home to me today. I can’t say enough good things about Faithful Companion, even though I wish I didn’t need them. Losing a pet is so hard, but they make it a bit less stressful at least.

They were amazing. This was my first pet that has passed (in adulthood) and I had no idea where to start. My vet recommended Faithful Companion and from the first phone call I felt welcomed. I was able to drop our cat off at their facility and they brought her home the next day. Everyone was compassionate, caring, and they try as hard as they can to make the whole process as easy as possible. I am so grateful that the grieving process was slightly easier with their help.

My dog suddenly passed away on 8/30/20 around 4am I dropped her off around 10am and I got her back on 8/31/20 at 9pm.. I’m very grateful for them, they made things very easy for me! ❤️

Ive used other pet cremation services in the past. There is no question, Faithful Companion Pet Cremation Services is the best. Sean was compassionate and understanding. He allowed us to say goodby to my best buddy Duke in private. His remains were handled with care and dignity. They even delivered Dukes cremains to our home later the same day, in a beautiful custom engraved wooden box. I highly recommend them. We had to put our cat to sleep unexpectedly while at the emergency vet and they use Faithful Companion for their cremations. Faithful Companion called us the following day and scheduled a time to personally deliver her remains to our home. That service alone meant very much to us. We had her back almost exactly 24 hours after having lost her. The gentleman that came was very nice and professional.

In some very hard times these guys were very quick and professional, I didnt have to go long without my dog being home and for that me and my family are very thankful.

You cant go wrong with this company. You are in a time of need, if reading this, this company did me a whole world of good. It is an ugly time when you lose your pet and they owned up to all promises and did it with respect to you as the customer and the prices were very reasonable for the services offered. I have many other animals and now know I have an option in my next time in need. But this was my first encounter and this was the dog of my life. and they so did him justice with dignity and class.

I want to personally thank the staff at faithful cremation, loosing our best friend of 11 years was hard enough but she was treated like she was family the staff returned her to us the next day late in the night because we wanted her home. We are healing slowly but the paw print made our day, and now she is home and resting until we meet again. Thank you for making this horrible process much more then just a bad memory my husband and I are so grateful. Putting Madison to sleep was the hardest decision I have ever had to make. I cannot thank Faithful Companion enough for how wonderful and professional their staff was during this difficult time. Brian and Sean were incredible and made me feel better about my decision to put Madison to sleep. They treated myself, my family, and Madison with the utmost respect and dignity throughout the entire process. Thank you for making this difficult time a little bit easier!

I lost my lil boy on Saturday evening 10/24/2020 after a sudden illness. I contacted Faithful Companion after many recommendations and I drove to their Royal Oak location. The gentleman who greeted me was very kind and sympathetic. After going over what I wanted he gave me plenty of time to say goodbye to my boy. As painful as it is and it was probably the most heart wrenching thing for a guy to turn over his lil boy of 10 years. I left feeling lost and heartbroken but confident in the fact that Faithful Companion would take good care of my lil boy. He was returned to me by noon the next day in a beautifully engraved cherry wood urn. RIP, Roo, my son, companion, cuddle buddy, my stinky breath lil Chihuahua.

My Veterinarian trusts and uses Faithful Companion and I definitely know why. They are the most thoughtful, compassionate and professional people who go above and beyond to make a customer feel that their pet is their first priority. Its horrible in and of itself to lose a beloved pet, but when you have folks like Faithful Companion, who take excellent care of your loved one it definitely makes it easier. Their urns and products are beautiful. I tragically lost my cat Maisey but they brought her home in a beautifully crafted Urn within 24hours which meant a lot to me. I am so grateful to them...

I cannot say enough about Faithful Companion and ALL of the employees. My veterinary clinic dropped the ball BIG time. I had to put my 15 year old German Sheppard, Maggie down a week ago today. The vet was supposed to contact FC to pick my beloved Maggie up. They didnt. I called FC saturday to inquire when my Maggie was going to be delivered. They didnt get the call to pick up my girl. Patty went above the moon to fix it even though it wasnt their fault. She contacted my vets first thing monday morning and sent a car out to pick up my girl. She contacted me immediately and told me what she had done. She didnt charge me for my paw prints and added engraving to her box. Their compassion was and always is spectacular. I will always utilize their services. I have for 3 of my pets to date. What an excellent team of people. Thank you to everyone there.

Our beloved Chief passed away suddenly. It has been absolutely devastating to our family but thanks to Faithful Companion it has helped us deal with this tremendous loss. They handled my Bella dog with great care and compassion. Her ashes and paw print were returned the next day. They even cremated her with one of her favorite toys. I am so thankful for this company and the services they provide. They make a sad time easier.I used this service again in April 2019 after my Nola died. They continue to show a high level of professionalism and compassion. They handled Nola with great care and dignity and her ashes were promptly returned.

Both of the drivers I interacted with were very respectful, asking about my pets (my dog came to the door to greet them) and letting me take my time with the paperwork. I was grateful that I was allowed to put my sweet boy into the box myself, and double-check all the information. His cremains were delivered the following morning, along with the paw print my mother ordered as a gift for me (which was done well, considering he was a hedgehog with tiny paws). I would use their services again and recommend them to anyone who asked.
