I have only worked with Gibson Counseling and my therapist through tele-conference given the current pandemic. That said, I have enjoyed the process and session to help me improve my overall mental health. Excellent care and service. I have and will continue to recommend Gibson Counseling to others.
My therapist, Dayle Malen, is incredibly kind, intuitive, empathetic, and gives me the tools to work on managing my anxiety and depression. Meeting with Dayle has been life-changing for me and I feel uplifted and relieved after every session. Its worth every penny per session for peace of mind. The South Round Rock location has a calming, professional atmosphere and Im so blessed to have found this practice!
I’m have a good time with my counseling. Having someone listen to me and validating when I think and feel. I am making progress in small steps but it’s small steps that will help me meet my goals.
They are the best counselors I have ever been to. Its more like visiting a friend. I can not recommend them highly enough.
I really enjoy my counselor. She is thoughtful, sincere and always there for a different perspective. I feel that I have grown in so many ways and continue to become a better version of myself.
Never again! This was my first time trying them. My daughter has an appointment at 4:00 PM, today, Jan. 16th. We sat in the waiting area for 25 minutes. I am now home, it is now 5:08 PM and not one person has tried to reach out to me. I called the number listed for Gibson Counseling and was not able to get a live person to speak with. I left a VM. I emailed the admin mailbox as well while sitting there, still, no response. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any counselor. Good luck if you decide to become a new patient. They could care less!
I highly recommended Suzanne Bartholomew of Gibson Counseling for therapy. I received EMDR therapy for trauma and PTSD. Although the majority of the trauma occurred decades ago she was still able to treat it and we had enormous success. This experience has greatly changed my life in the biggest and even the smallest ways. We achieved the goals I was hoping for but it did more for me than I ever expected would happen. Along with a feeling of resolution of the major traumas and incredibly reducing the fear and anxiety they produced, it trickled over into improving how I react to everyday things that would normally cause high anxiety. I am so happy I made the commitment to get help.
