He then called me less than 60 seconds later to let me know he was on his way. They then sent an email detailing the technicians background with a picture so that I felt safe and knowledgeable about him. He came in and was highly respectful and professional. Thought my capacitor was going out on my AC unit so I called Green Leaf AC & Heating to check it. They were very prompt, friendly and keep me updated throughout the diagnostics. Turns out the capacitor was fine and all that needed cleaning was the condenser. They were honest and very thorough with their work and I was only charged for the diagnostics. They also provided quotes for reapairs I may need in the near future. I would highly recommend them to anyone having issues with their AC / Heating unit.

Service Technician Arthur braved icy road conditions to repair my heating system. No problem with the equipment, it was a blown fuse. I had non-technical questions which Arthur could not answer. I was told by another company that I needed an entire new AC and heating unit (to the tunes of $11k), have been without AC for almost a week waiting on this other company to send me a formal estimate, to call me back and to get me on their schedule and thank God I trusted my instinct that I felt like they were giving me the run around so I called Green Leaf and I had Jeff out within a few hours and my AC fixed and working within about 5minutes of him being here. The other company technician mis-wired something so that’s why it wasn’t working. Obviously I’m using Green Leaf from now on!

Then he saved me money by recommending some repairs and just replacing the components absolutely necessary. They fit me in on Saturday morning and were quick, respectful and professional. Credit to my wife who did the analyses to choose the AC brand (Trane) and dealer. Green Leaf had shown up days earlier to check out our existing setup and repair a plenum problem. They later emailed a proposal with options for a new central AC install.Wife chose the higher SEER option, (about $800 more) and scheduled the install. The crew showed up on time with all the skills, tools and equipment to make for a professional removal and haul-away of the old (~25year-old) AC and furnace system, and installation of the new 3.5-ton, 16-SEER outdoor and indoor matching furnace, air handler, and thermostat.The crew spread cloth protectors over the stairs to guard against carpet stains, and there was a surprising amount of soot and other dirt as they hauled away the old upstairs components.I was able to watch the tech install the outdoor components (there was little room upstairs) and I was impressed by his mastery of several crafts (AC tech, plumber, electrician).The Trane equipment itself was impressive; it was about 3x the size of our old unit, and gave an initial impression of a well-turned-out piece of hardware. In addition, the install included a robust plastic foundation for the outdoor unit.During the install, I checked into the Trane web site for product registration/warranty information (because, after installation, much of the registration info (model, serial number) was difficult or impossible to access.) I learned that Green Leaf handled all of that by collecting these data as part of the install process.The final result bore out my initial evaluation; the new system was quieter than the old, seemed to produce more and cooler air, and reduced indoor humidity.Overall, this was a painless operation with 5-star results.Updated 8/21/2021: I installed in my Round Rock home a new 3.5 ton 16 SEER Trane air conditioner on 7/16/2021 and received my first electric power bill for a full month of the Trane operation.The Trane replaced a ~25-year-old Carrier of unknown capacity andSEER. I kept electric consumption and cost figures for the past 10years by month, including, of course, all other power consumptionwithin the home besides just the AC. I assume all other consumptionremained about the same. I also assume this August was about as hotas average for the last decade.Compared with averages of the past 10 Augusts (including this one),Trane power consumption fell by 28% (1,430 kwh vs. 2,147 kwh) andcost declined by nearly 25% ($131.40 vs. $174.77).I love my new Trane.

From the moment I called Green Leaf I could tell I was dealing with a professional, high quality, efficient, customer service oriented business. This is after engaging with 4 other companies that were also recommended and had high reviews. Green Leaf stood above them all, by far! My AC went out on Monday and it was a very hot week. I knew the diagnosis I had was correct and that I needed new AC equipment (20+ years old) and I also decided to replace my gas furnace (27 years old). I also knew I wanted Trane equipment and a Trane dealer, which lead me to reviews and calling Green Leaf. I had lots of questions based on having a family member in the AC business in FL and from having a few other companies stop by. On Thursday (4 hot days into my AC being out) I spoke with Brent Ford and he was outstanding! He respectfully and patiently let me ask my questions, express my concerns and did not pressure me or try to sell me. I had a good idea of what I needed and he helped confirm that. He emailed me a professional quote within 10 minutes after our call with all the exact details. He explained to me clearly what their availability was in terms of having the equipment and having to schedule an install if I chose them. He also offered to bring by a spot cooler to get us by within a couple hours if I decided to go with them. Again, no pressure…just options, solutions and great customer service. I could tell he cared and again this made Green Leaf stand out. Their pricing was very competitive. I made a decision that same Thursday around noon and by 2p Saturday all the equipment was installed. It was done at the price quoted and on the timeline they quoted. The installation was smooth and they worked their tails off for about 4 hours straight. If you want high quality equipment, high customer service, delivery to what is promised, and competitive pricing then you don’t need to look any further than Green Leaf. I was super impressed. I rarely write reviews and take the time to do so, but I was so impressed that I wanted other people in my same position to benefit from this review as I know making such a huge decision and purchase can be very stressful, especially when you have been without AC and are chasing down lots of quotes and companies to make a decision. Oh, and finally, without my prompting they took pictures of all my old equipment removed, pictures during the install, and pictures of the new equipment prior to and after the install and emailed it all to me along with my final invoice. These guys are pros!!

When I noticed my auxiliary A/C drainage line running like a faucet, I did NOT call Green Leaf AC & Heating. I called another service I will only reference by their initials: SB.In retrospect, I consider this to have been an error.Yeah, SB blew out my drainage lines, but they also told me every part of my A/C system was dying and handed me a brochure -- with new units pre-circled in ball-point pen -- that Id need to replace the whole shebang with, to the tune of $12,000.00 or so. They also kept calling to ask me when they could come over again as per some maintenance contract I did not sign.Calling Green Leaf is the part where I corrected my error. They came out for free and did all the checking that SB did, and lo and behold, my A/C equipment is old, but just fine: all the pressures and electric charges are right where they need to be. They specifically told me not to buy a new anything, that it all still had some years left in it.That was three years ago. I have them over every year or so to clean the coils, blow out the drainage lines, and do a check/tune up, and everything is still great with my A/C. What a good company.
I was totally amazed by the proficiency and professionalism on the part of Brent Ford at the office to the incredible capabilities and preciseness of the 5 man crew that showed up to replace the entire AC/Heating system at my residence. The crews efforts displayed a true sense of coordination, each man seemingly handling his specific job with precision. In a matter of 3-1/2 hours, the job was completed in spite of the heat. Our AC went out in late July 3 years ago, 3 days before vacation. They were able to locate a quality replacement unit at a great rate with applicable rebates and a long term warranty that they installed the following day. They continue to provide excellent maintenance on our system to ensure it lasts and performs efficiently.

8 month old little one in the house and our AC went out at 4:00 pm on an August Thursday afternoon. We live in a rental house and the AC is too small (and old) for the house and struggles to cool the house in Texas summers anyway. It was 97 outside and the temperature inside our house quickly rose to 83-84 degrees in a short period of hours. Notified our landlord who said that the AC repair company could come out the following day. If it was just adults in the house, that would be fine, but not with a baby. We called around to find a hotel, but most were full due to evacuees from Hurricane Laura. Our landlord would not pay for any after hours emergency services. With a screaming (hot and tired) baby in one arm, I googled emergency AC repair and Green Leaf came up first and had good reviews. I called and got an actual person on the phone and she said someone would be out within the hour and the fee was very reasonable for after hours service. Ricky came out and fixed the AC issue and wrote a very detailed report for our landlord and routine AC maintenance company. Ricky was pleasant, knowledgeable and a fast worker. Would not hesitate to use this company again or recommend to a friend.
After meeting with Josh and getting our price quote we agreed on a date for them to come over...once they arrived, they were quick to get to work and fix a duct issue and install the system. -Updated-They Charged $435 for recharge 5lb gas.Ive searched on google and found same type of gas(R-410A) for $103 for 25lb.In conclusion, they made more than 20 times profit on their cost by recharging gas.FYI, I got the same service from another company about 2 years ago and paid $160.Make sure to compare prices with other company before you call them.-UPDATE-I would like to update the phone conversation with the owner of this company.The owner said even if I searched the google to find the gas(R-410A) price I wouldnt be able to buy it at that price, because I dont have a HVAC license.I know I cant buy that without HVAC license.But it doesnt change the fact that theyve taken more than 20 times profit on their cost just because they have a HVAC license.Perhaps some people who think this price is reasonable because people have different opinions and standards.For this reason I had no reason to argue with the owner of this company whether the price was reasonable or not.In my personal opinion, $435 for recharge 5 pound gas is expensive because their cost is only $20.In my personal opinion, consumers dont even need to understand a companys pricing policy because consumers felt it was expensive, its just expensive for them and I just left a review of what I felt.Also I dont think businesses need to call and raise their voices to explain and understand it to customer.Just my experience with this company is expensive, profiteering.P.S. Green Leaf AC was very professional. They arrived on time, quietly did the job (AC installation) while I was attending my own office and at the end, cleaned up the premises. Their price of the unit was also the best among other quotes. I asked for the warranty details next day and they promptly emailed me. I have a saved so much money over these many summer months based on the setup he recommended. Trying to cool a two story house with one unit used to be a challenge. Now Summers have been cooler and bills have been lower.The two techs that I have met Over the years since initial install have both been smart fair and efficient.

Absolutely fantastic experience. I had poor experiences with several companies before finally stumbling upon Green Leaf. Right out the gate the main person that answers calls was extremely courteous and very helpful.The tech that was sent out took the time to first go through the house and fully understand the problem we were having, instead of just rattling off random fixes (like other companies did). He made sure that we also understood how the HVAC is supposed to work and taught us more about our system.Green Leaf identified the problem and fixed it the SAME DAY. They had to get parts (motorized vents) for both zones that had completely failed.I couldnt have asked for a better experience. They have my business for life. They came out and replaced our Air Handler and the price was better by about a $1000. They registered it through the Carrier website to extend the warranty from 5 to 10 years. I will use their services in the future. DONT EVER CALL AIRTRON!! They didnt register my unit so I had to replace it and took no responsibility for anything.

A very friendly gentleman from Green Leaf answered my call, and got me scheduled for service within 12 hours, on a weekend, again in the middle of Texas Summer.The technician, Jacob, arrived promptly on time and gave advance notice that he was on the way. Jacob was incredibly professional and friendly. He very quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed the issue, and was politely informative about what had caused the problem.There were no surprise charges. He informed me of preventative measures that were available and was very up front about the cost. I was advised of where my AC stood and what options there were for the future. All of this without any Pressure.The cost of service was extremely reasonable. If you’re reading horror stories about how much it’s going to cost to get your AC fixed, come to these guys. The summer heat is coming so we got a Tune Up for our AC unit. As a homeowner I could not be more satisfied with the service provided. We have been using Green Leaf semi annual service maintenance plan and any other needed services since 2018 as referred by our then expert plumber. We added the new Plumbing Maintenance service this year. Just in time. Our pipe to an outdoor hose bib burst during the recent Central Texas Snow Storm, and since we were already prescheduled for our semi annual maintenance they were able to respond quickly for the plumbing issue. Both HVAC (Edsel) and plumbing professionals (Paul and Jorge) worked in our home in a professional, collegial and supportive approach with each other throughout. Each professonal included us by showing and explaining each item they addressed. Edsel installed our Google Nest Programmable Thermostat and patiently walked us through the process of how to use its functions. Each kept our home area neat and clean.Important aspects for us above all are their integrity, honesty, reliability and fairness in accessability, response, pricing, and workmanshiip. I cannot say enough great things about this company. We have owned homes for 37 years and used many excellent HVAC and plumbing service plans across the country. Green Leaf would have to be granted the Consumers National Excellence Business and Professonal Award, if there were such an award. I have referred my new daughter in law and son to them for their new home and would recommend Green Leaf without reservations to anyone else.

Service was great for maintenance check but I feel the repair cost of $139 was very high for a $10 part (10mf capacitor) that was replaced very easily just swapped out part.

Green Leaf installed a new furnace for me three months ago. I called them back during our current cold weather to address 2 zones of the 3 zone system not delivering heat. The technician (Mr. Perez) arrived on time during the quoted time frame and promptly diagnosed the system trouble, malfunctioning thermostats. The faulty thermostats were replaced, adjusted, and the system was placed back in service. All completed in about 1 hr. Thank you Green Leaf for a job well done.
The service technician Heath was right on time and he found out that the capacitor was faulty and replaced it with a new one. Then checked the rest of the system which needed additional coolant and added to the factory specifications. Checked the inside intake and exhaust temperature to insure proper operation. I was very impressed with Heaths thougherness and professional attitude that I signed up for the yearly maintenance.I am surly very happy that he was available on a Saturday night to insure that I would have a cool place to live. I only got the Service check for now but learned a ton and feel confident in using them again very soon.
Green Leaf came to the rescue. They happened to be the only company around with the replacement part I needed. They worked with me after hours and through a trip to setup replacement. They were on time, took care of the work that was needed and went beyond what was required to ensure things were setup properly.
Installed a new system since my 20 yr old AC completely died. G/L came on time and Leo and team installed and they were quick and efficient. Value for product is very compelling and great warranty.

Very fast response, came immediately after hours on a weekend. The cost was around $150 for emergency after hrs. diagnosis but price was taken off the bill once service completed. My unit was 17 yrs old. Installed total HVAC and Furnace. Gave portable ac unit until work started. Total HVAC done in less than a day. Thought they were a bit pricey but shopped around and they were worth the quick fast caring service professional install. Single 3Ton 16 Seer Carrier & Gas furnace around 7k - they have a payment plan also -

This review is long overdue as these guys are my go-to AC repairman. In the past 4 years I have had to replace two 15-year-old A/C units, and its only a matter of time before the 3rd one needs replacing too. These are the guys I call. When our first old unit went out in the middle of summer, Green Leaf was able to get a unit delivered and installed in a turn around of under 32 hours, if not less. Getting a new unit installed with such a fast turnaround for our tenant and their young children was incredible, especially in the middle of summer. A little over a year later, when our own unit went out, we used Green Leaf again for the replacement. When the upstairs unit goes, Green Leaf will be who we call. We wouldnt trust anyone else with our units. Not only do we trust them to do good work, but they diagnose the issue. They dont try to sell us what we dont need. Theyre honest. We couldnt be more pleased and were happy to give them our business.
Jacob fixed our upstairs A/C today. He was prompt, respectful, professional and friendly. Green Leaf also installed our A/C system four years ago and they are a good company to work with.

Called yesterday fearing my A/C unit needed replacing. They not only squeezed me in on one day’s notice but also were able to get the unit back up and running within an hour and a half.Jacob was professional, wore a mask the entire time, and communicated clearly how to prevent having the same issue again.Have used Green Leaf for years and can’t say enough about their professionalism and quality of work.
I was able to get an appointment on the same day. The technician found that the capacitor was starting to weaken and suggested a replacement. I agree that it was a needed repair but the total cost for that fix was a bit steep - $160 total for a $40 or less part.
Previous dealer that came out had no knowledge of our thermostat, broke a wire and, basically was incompetent! Green Leaf came in and immediately fixed a date issue on the thermostat, ran through the maintenance items and reported to us the steps he took. VERY knowledgeable and professional. Will highly recommend them to ANYONE!
