The therapist is habitually late, as if she does not care about my child’s needs. We have had to reschedule an appointment twice. Today she was 20 minutes late. If we could find another therapist taking new patients, we would move. I know therapists are overloaded right now because of the pandemic, but she should not take on more than she can handle. If my child were not on a medication that shouldn’t be stopped abruptly, we would leave. Not satisfied at all with the care.

I just joined a tele-health call after waiting for 3 weeks for an appointment. Lifestance is new to our family, it use to be GBHP. I believe all GBHP & numerous other practices joined Lifestance. I can’t phathom why private practices would join Lifestance, as existing patient’s, you don’t get the intimate & reliable care you’d get from a well run private practice.GBHP was similar to Lifestance so it wasn’t a big change. We only go there due to insurance restrictions. My son & I have both recently switched drs; my son stayed w/in Lifestance & his new dr seems good (we met w/her once) & I was able to find a diff. doc in network. We left GBHP/Lifestance for mult. reasons. Disorganization starting from paperwork, appt. times, rx’s not being sent to the pharmacy & more. Most mental health pro.’s have their patients fill out a GAD form and a PHQ-9. These both gauge how the patient is feeling at each visit & informs the doc prior to meeting w/the patient. I can’t remember one time that our doctor had this form downloaded to her computer prior to our visits. Then when she requested them from the office their were usually tech. issues that made these forms unattainable. Wasting patients time & valuable information.I also mentioned Rx issues, which were plenty. Rx’s would not get sent to the pharmacy, frequently. Trying to get messages to the dr.’s & getting responded to takes days! Which meant we’d be out of meds. w/no call backs, we’d have to call them over & over. This particular office would also mess up appt. times. I would get reminders for days & times that I had never made appt.’s for. Or I would be charged for missing an appt. that I never made. I am meticulous about keeping my appt.’s organized. This happened numerous times w/this office & the blame frequently fell on me. It was frustrating & baffling. The final thing that sent us away from our doc was when she wanted to put me on a med that I had already been on & had neg side effects to. I had to remind her of this… scary. I told her I couldn’t take this med & why. A few weeks later, my husband was w/our son in an appt. He needed a med change & so the doc changed his med. Now, my husband doesn’t usually go to these appt.’s, he works outside of the house & I stay at home. Our son has special needs & this is what works best for us. So, the doc changed our son’s medication. In the week following I noticed terrible side effects. I then checked what med the doc put our son on, which yes I should have checked right away but I trusted the doc. The doc put him on a med he had been on previously that he had terrible side effects to & should not have been put on again. I immediately called the office & was told our doc was out of the office the rest of the week & wouldn’t be back until the following Monday. I requested a call from the doc covering for her & she had no one covering for her. The receptionist told me that an NP had an immediate opening but after talking w/him, that NP would not see our son. So for almost 2 weeks our son was on a bad med, then was off his med w/no doc to call in the right Rx.During this time also, I needed pertinent medical paperwork filled out urgently. My doc promised it would be done w/in 1-2 days. I called to check on the paperwork & she said her printer broke so she hadn’t filled out the paperwork yet. She told me she would get it done a different way by the following day. I unfortunately believed her. At the end of the week the paperwork still wasn’t done so I called the office & left numerous messages. She called back & apologized saying she overpromised. This was vital paperwork. She is very nice, but we needed more from a doc. These are but a few of the negative experiences we had with the Lifestance location we use to go to.

I have been trying to make an appointment for 2 weeks now. I have tried multiple times to make appointments unsuccessfully. Every time I read through reviews of one of the doctor/nurses and find someone I think I will like, I make an appointment (which is about a week out.) I get into the waiting room for that scheduled appointment. Then, 15 minutes before my appointment, the appointment desk calls me and cancels. I just rescheduled my appointment again for next week. The appointment desk is extremely unhelpful. I have tried telling them multiple times what I need and what type of Dr. I am looking for and they DO NOT match me at all with the appropriate practitioners. As a first time mental health patient I find this whole process extremely overwhelming and impersonal.

I was charged twice $30 for one video appointment. When I contacted the office about the issue, I was told to email a copy of my bank statement to confirm this. I am unable to screenshot the statement on my phone/computer, and printing from a printer at a public place could result in a breach of privacy. To date, this has not yet been resolved. There seemed to be very little interest or urgency shown in settling this matter. The therapists was engaging and friendly.

My only complaint is that we have to wait a month and a half for her next appointment. From the wrong department. Rather than trying to help me, the representative had the WORST attitude, the call either disconnected (or I was hung up on) and then ONCE AGAIN no one attempted to call back. If I could give no stars I would. Jami Hanneman as well as the office manager Olivia are terrible to work with. They claim to be supportive of new mothers and anxiety, yet when you need to cancel due to a sick screaming child they offer no empathy and charge you $100 no show fees. This office does NOT support new moms, they are just after a dollar at the end of the day. It’s sad that a clinic that’s meant to help people shows zero concern for how they work with their patients. I would advise you all to avoid this clinic if you don’t want ridiculous charges on your account! So disappointed.

I dont know what you call it but it is not that!! The staff runs the place and your mental health with an iron fist!! Your wrong no matter what! The bate and switch with your insurance. Your covered no copay and then when you show up to your appointment they tell you that your not covered by your insurance and now pay us or no help!! Now they had 3 weeks to tell me this and then cancel my appointment that I am standing in the office for? I leave now mind you I am not a Doctor but I play one on TV and I wouldnt and dont do that to my fake patients I am just saying!!! A week later I get a bill for the first visit and the no show, show appointment! Really?!!! So you get paid no matter what?!! No matter if I dont get the help I wanted and needed.Thank You for the great care and understanding. Haven’t had any issues getting appointments or getting surprise billing statements for family members- and we appreciate the multiple locations. You never now where you’ll be when you’ll need a life line for some good advice!Due to the nature of this practice of medicine there’s aways a chance for a wait. You never know what the person with the earlier appointment has going on. I appreciate the professional dedication to clients who might need a few more minutes than to be cut off in the middle of perhaps a crisis. Having managed medical offices, providers know who needs what and sometimes there may be a patient in crisis who needs to be seen before you. If you always have to be seen on time, take the first appointment time (when they open).Especially if you’re just popping in for a Refill. We’ve waited a time or two but usually we just schedule standing appointments far enough in advance at a time when we know can get in and out.Last life hack:Also, you can call and ask if they’re on schedule. It’s tricky because the staff isn’t ethically or legally allowed to know what’s going on with clients. They can only tell you if there’s a delay. How would you feel if your in your appointment and the staff barges in to ask “hey- I know you’re in crisis- but how long before you can get it together and wrap this up.”Just like the dentist, they can’t predict how big the cavity is.We’re also glad they file the insurance for us. Many BH practices don’t because - people will come Anyway. With such a shortage of providers, we are So thankful to have access to services harder and harder to find and afford.

All the 1 star reviews are correct and representative of my review. Without emotions....facts are: My brother made an appointment 2 months ago to see Dr Elizabeth Licalzi; He received a text confirming appointment on Friday. Arrived Mon morning, appt was cancelled by the office; Waited 15 minutes for office mgr to find out why; she says she called to cancel appt(never received this call - when??!); They cancelled appt because Dr can only see so many new patients at one time, but as she put it We do not know if the schedule is right until the day before the appointment (huh??!!); Me, what can you do to rectify this? ; Office manager, We can give you an 11 or 2pm appt today (huh??!!....how does this even make sense??!) As the office manager continues with dripping disdain, my brother decides this is not the place for him. Also, I make the following comments very consciously. My brother and I are the only non-all white persons in the office. Cant help but think was my brother turned away because he is IRANIAN??! When I look at that crowded waiting room of all anglo-saxon persons (over a dozen persons-dont get me started on how many people were in waiting room) and the staff of all white (except the African American office manager) cant help but consider pure prejudice is why he was turned away. Recommendation: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS OFFICE!!!! Dr my be great but mind games is not what anyone needs, especially from an office of mental health!

I always try to get the first appointment of the day, which is at 9:00, so I dont have to miss too much work. But by the time Im seen by the doctor its usually almost 9:40. The time I actually spend with the doctor is usually no more than 10 minutes, and by the time I check out and schedule my next appointment Ive spent almost an hour there. This happens at every single one of my appointments. Please be more considerate of your patients time. If I could have left zero stars I would have. Been going here for about 6 months, the office staff are incompetent! Dr Najarajan has never been on time once time in 6 months, we usually wait at least 25 minutes for her and our appointments end up being about 25-35 minutes long, we are yet to get the full one hour that we are paying for. Today I had a 2pm appt and was stuck in traffic and running behind because of it, I called the office to let them know I would be late they said to still come on in, we got there at 2:30pm, when we got there they checked us in and we waited and waited - we waited for another 30 minutes. Dr Najarajan came out at 3pm and took the patient after us back. When I asked the girl at the front desk why this happened she said it’s because we were 31 minutes late and there policy was if you are more than 15 minutes late the Dr can at their discretion take the next patient back (Information that would have been helpful when I called them to let them know we would be late and also information that would have been helpful before we sat and waited another 30 minutes). Yes we were late and I had called to let them know. I cannot believe a practice can operate this way and still be in business. I will certainly not be going back to this office or practice or Dr. completely unprofessional.

I was a patient for a year too long. I’ve never missed an appointment and was always on time to my scheduled appointments. The one day that I was running late I notified their office an hour before my scheduled time and had to leave a voicemail. I received a call after my scheduled appointment time and was informed I was being charged $75 for a “No Show”. I was en route but I was so fruestrated with their office and the way I had been treated this was the last straw. Most of my appointment I was seen nearly a hour after my scheduled appointment time and I was never offered an apology for my wasted time and/or informed that I would not be seen at my scheduled appointment time. I should’ve believed the reviews. I will not be returning. Dr. Natarajan was my provider.***Update***Today I received an e-mail stating, “Hi DARICKA,Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals cares about you. While my doctor was great, the office staff has ensured that I will never return. I have had repeated issues with them such as overcharging for my co-pay or not answering the phone, but the most recent one takes the cake. I discovered at 6:30 on a Friday that I was out of meds with no refill. I went to the pharmacy to beg for help and was given three pills “as a loan against my next refill.” The pharmacy assured me they had faxed over a request for a refill and urged me to call on Monday to confirm. On Monday morning, I called around 9:00 and left a voicemail with the prescription desk. I did not receive a return call and my pharmacy did not receive a refill order. On Tuesday I called around 3:45 and was again had to leave a voicemail. Luckily I received a call back in about 5 minutes. The woman who called me seemed willing to help at first. I explained the situation and she said “ok so you got three pills yesterday?” I had to once again explain that I had received them Friday and had been trying for multiple days to get a refill, with some exasperation in my voice. She then stated she would give me a refill for 6 pills which should get me thru to my appointment on the following Monday. I questioned if this would be enough since the pharmacy had loaned me thee pills against my next refill. She then very rudely informed me that was wrong and “illegal, they have to fill what I call in.” I questioned again to confirm that I would have enough meds to last the week. She got very rude and defensive and said I would be fine. I said “ok, thank you” and she immediately hung up without saying anything else.Half an hour later I received a call back from the office manager. She informed me that I had been very rude and called the woman who helped me earlier a “b****”. Well this was a complete shock to me. I was upset by this statement as that word had not some out of my mouth. I tried to inform the office manager of this and was told “All our calls are recorded so,...”. I told her she should absolutely review the recording. She then informed me that they have a “zero tolerance policy for this kind of behavior” and that she was canceling my appointment. She did say that they would call in a 30 day refill to my pharmacy, but so far they do not have it. I will update if the refill does come thru. I am absolutely flabbergasted that anyone would have the audacity to be rude and the pretend they had been called names. I am surprised that the office staff has the ability to cancel appointments without talking to the physician. This has been one of the most insane and upsetting “customer service” experiences I have ever had.Edit 3/27/19 - I did just get a confirmation from my pharmacy that my refill was called in.

The only reason this review gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because I actually really liked my doctor, Dr. Licalzi. However, after my experience today, I have changed my previous good review (which I was on the fence about before for other reasons) and am now booked with another, non GBHP doctor for any and all future appointments.I had left my doctors office today with a question about a prescription. She had said she sent it, yet I couldnt see it on my end with my providers pharmacy online service. I thought Id travel to the pharmacy so they can fill it, as Ive known this to happen before, where I cant see a prescription, but the actual pharmacy can. However, the pharmacy couldnt locate it either on their end. I called GBHP and left a message to which they called me back right away. Here is where it gets bad. If you havent left me yet, this is the moment youve been waiting for.I explained to the woman who had called me back with Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals what had happened and she said that Dr. Licalzi had faxed in my prescription on October 4th and that everything on their end went through successfully. I told her I understood that but we (neither I nor the pharmacy) have a record of having that prescription. The woman kept insisting that because it was sent successfully on their end, it wasnt their problem, but she finally told me that I could have the pharmacy call her since the problem was on their end. The pharmacy couldnt call them due to policies they have in place and suggested the prescribing facility call them to quickly and easily fix the problem. This woman is throwing a tantrum on the phone about how they WILL NOT call the pharmacy because it is not their mistake and she said she could not believe the pharmacy worker was really telling HER to call them. I explained to her that if the pharmacy cant call and she wont call, Im the one without medication. She didnt seem to care one bit. She only cared that she would be the one to have to call. The pharmacist overheard this and said he would make a one time exception and apologized that I had to go through that. The pharmacist, who has nothing to do with GBHP.I expect better out of people. I really expect better out of people who work at behavioral health facilities. How am I supposed to react calmly to situations when this is my example? No thanks, that was my cue. As much as I really do like my doctor, knowing I could have been left without my medicine today because of a pissing contest. Nope.Thats in addition to all of the charges in my patient account that I constantly have to call to ask what they are for and to have them corrected, as my insurance covers my appointments 100% for as many as I need, so if I have a charge coming, I will know about it before it even hits my patient balance because I specifically caused it.

Absolute criminals in every sense of the word. Just want to throw drugs at people seeking help for anything.

Until I met my Doctor from this group, Dr. Jayish Niak, I was unable to predict my behaviors. Medicine alone doesnt control Bi-polar disorder. I found my Doctor knowledgeable, easy to talk to and relatable to real and serious situations. Since going to him, I have not only felt better mentally and physically, but emotionally as well...Ill be the first to admit, the responsibility of managing my bi-Polar disorder is up to me, but Dr. Niak and his staff have always been there for me with professionalism and gratitude. When I have called after hours, he has checked his Voice Mail and has returned my call within 24 hours...I know he cares because some of his patients have crisis situations that he handles in office, sometimes causing longer wait times...I would rather wait for for an top notch Dr. like him than a mediocre one that could care less. I have encountered this type of Dr. in my 25 years managing my disorder. He is trustworthy, honest and to my advantage and liking, straightforward and even funny at times...you get out of an appointment what you put into it..thank you Dr. Niak and staff for putting up with me these past 5 years...and for the snacks and beverages laid out for your patients!!! You all always exceed my expectations!

My bipolar mom was stable for 10 years before moving in with us in July. Naik halved her main psych med, discontinued others, and scheduled quarterly follow-ups. (Bi-weekly is the norm.) Between visits 2 and 3, Mom started a manic cycle. Despite her worsening condition and my urgent phone messages, Naik did not alter treatment. Over-booked patients wait 45-60 minutes past scheduled appointment times, but Naik provides no direct line, no back-up, no referrals, and no escalation procedure.

I would like to ask the other people who reviewed this group what Dr. Do you see ? My son has only had 2 visits with Dr.Malla first visit he went with his father and it was ok she was upset though due to her needing to leave town but decided she would go ahead and see him . My husband and son told me it was ok she seemed very rushed and let them know she wasnt happy due to needing to leave and she talked extremely fast . WELL today Mom went to visit I know a lot about his history and family history and had several questions... It was the most horrible visit I have ever experienced. She did not know what we where there for so she took about 5 minutes or so while we where in the room to read over her notes ....after reviewing his notes she reminded us oh yeah I saw you and was not very happy because the first. Is it she was going out of town WOW !!then automatically asked him a question he barley answered and was cut off . She more or less yelled at him and when she did ask a question he didnt have time to reply .....when I his mother asked a question she said yeah yeah I know hurry hurry hurry appointments are only 20 min !!!!!! I was shocked and lost for words . My son will NOT see her again if you dont have problems going in you will leaving . I was stressed and upset as my son was as well. I agree with the other reviews the office staff was rude ... As we where trying to chk out totally not acknowledge standing at the open window until I finally said are you available I have been waiting on you to acknowledge us ??!! Its called customer service ... The only reason there is one star is because I could not review unless I gave one .... So please if there is a better Dr there let me know
