They’re psychotic, I don’t mean the patients. The “doctors” hold people prisoner regardless of your condition. If you have Medicaid stay away! They’ll keep you for the state maximum time so they can bill the state. Not because of your condition.
If could put 0 stars I would. This place didnt have adequate set up for those with disabilities and are very unprofessional. Be weary if you admit or are admitted here.
The staff here is very rude. They are not professional with people at all. My husband and I were told 3 different lies, which is something if your working with patients I do not think it the right thing to do. If this is the way a hospital for mental health is ran, then it is the worst place to be.
My wife was there for a week. Some of the staff were rude for working with mental health patients. My wifes room was next to the nurses station and they were loud and inconsiderate of patients needing sleep. Also she overheard staff talking unprofessionally about patients including herself. You need to hire staff considerate of mental patients needs! I am reporting this to the AMA!
This place saves lives. Very grateful for their work
My cousin was admitted to Sunrise for four or five days after attempting to commit suicide. I called to speak to the counselor to inform them how he has been struggling for a lifetime. His own brother called and spoke to them for a while . Even his wife called to speak to a counselor, left her name and number and neve recieved a return call. I learned shortly after my call and within 15 minutes they released him. He is no longer with us today.
STAFF IS RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!
