I normally go to the Smyrna planet fitness, but I was in the area so I stopped in here. This one was 10x nicer from upgraded machines to the locker room. I wish I lived closer!

Great first time experience. I visited club first thing Sunday morning. The staff greeted me when entered and exited the facility. The facility was clean. You can tell the members care because everyone was cleaning up the equipment after each use. The only knock is the equipment is a tad bit old and not as smooth. But this place will be new morning spot for years to come.

Very clean, well run. Manager Sherill is awesome.

I love that it is open 24 hours so I can finally get back to my early morning workouts! I love that it is never truly crowded and I enjoy the amenities, especially the hydromassage and total body enhancement

A gym is a place where you go to keep your body healthy and to maintain a level of fitness. It doesnt matter what bells and whistles are offered there because when it boils down to it, it is still up to you to put in the effort and ask for guidance if you dont have a plan.

Clean and inviting like most are, the manager seems a little abrasive towards her staff.

This is a very nice and professionally run center. Great selection of equipment and the manager really helped me out. I highly recommend them.

Updated 09/20/2021- After being a member for a few months now, the customer service at this gym is horrible. Since being a member, Ive referred 2 ppl and have not received credit for either one as advertised. I tried resolving this over the phone and twice in the gym. Yesterday was my second time trying to resolve in the gym and the girl immediately said I dont know anything abt that. You have to talk to a manager during the week before 4pm. I dont get off until 5pm, complete inconvenience. I tried to resolve this in the gym last week and the girl told me she would take care of it but I was still charged on 09/18. Seems like they just give the run around instead of giving the credit they promise in their advertisements. The front desk ppl are useless other than hi and bye

Missing a few items that k have in PF but still a good gym

Stopped in today for a workout and the staff was super friendly and supportive. They seem to really care to know all the members coming and going by name with a cheer 🤗 I really like that. The gym is clean and mask are required thats great!!! The cleaning station was kept clean and stocked 👍👍 A great place to workout, and you cant beat the price!! ❤️

Youre first trip there will require some extra time to sign up. Annoying, I know, but WELL Worth it. This place is meant for regular people just trying to be better. No MUSCLE-BOUND MUSCLY-MUSCEL-MEN. Oh of course there are a few people who have been going there longer than others, but mostly... people like you go there. With almost every kind of machine what ever you need done, they can do it. And the black card perks dont hurt neither.

How unfortunate. I’ve been a member for years and since the pandemic thing have gone incredibly downhill. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming, and very hospitable. The members are a different story. There is a sign on the door requiring masks. This should be a red flag to any member that they may be entering an environment where donning a mask is in their best interest and the interest of others. Donning a mask incorrectly is useless. Wearing it beneath your nose is in no way helpful. Germs that are airborne need a point of entry and you’re giving them opportunity when you wear your mask incorrectly. Social distancing seems to be a concept that needs to be better explained to the locals. If you walk in and there are five people on 30 treadmills, it’s ignorant to use the treadmill that is closest to one of the five people. Find a machine that is a fair distance away, not the one behind them. My biggest issue is, what’s the point of having rules if they’re not enforced. I can only assume that these rules are fueled by public relations but quickly dismissed and overrun by Kens and Karen’s.

Arc trainers are calibrated perfectly. Very clean, staff is constantly cleaning, which makes me feel comfortable. Solid variety of equipment. Decent amount of space. Staff is relatively friendly. Slight air of snobbery among members, woman kept coughing, kinda freaked me out a bit. Nice place though. 👍Modifying this review: this location is the best. Maybe, people just need to get accustomed to seeing my routine because it can be a bit...intense. It’s all targeted and researched. Also, this location literally has the best selection of music of any PF I have EVER been to. I would absolutely join or transfer to this location and I’m actually going to miss it. Great black card hosts! 🙌

Extremely clean location loving it

Incredibly friendly staff with a clean environment to feel safe in. Equipment is available in a timely manner and its visible that clients clean up after themselves after each machine use. The extra amenities such as tanning beds, hydromassage, red light therapy, etc are available at this club and are always in working condition with cleanliness intact.

Compared to the other gyms I have been to, this location is the best! The staff gave me a guided tour of the facility, explained everything in depth and made me feel comfortable.I had gone to crunch fitness before this gym. Their motto was to stay body positive and be a judgement free. The mottos were everywhere but their staff did not follow that philosophy. Strong trap music was blasted over the speakers, guys were grunting and dropping weights too loud and the staff didnt seem to care. I go to the gym for my 30 minutes of cardio and to sometimes try weights. I didnt like the environment and eventually stopped going.When I went to planet fitness, everything was the opposite. Music wasnt too loud, the staff were friendly and encouraging (They even know my name!) and everyone worked out without all the grunting. I especially appreciated the cleaning stations that were always stocked. I go almost everyday now and feel comfortable pushing myself to learn new exercises. I definitely recommend this location

Love working out here but be aware! My car got broken into while I was in for a late night work out. (10pm) Luckily, there was nothing in my car for them to steal, but the damage was costly. The back passenger window was smashed in and the passenger door handle was ruin by a crowbar.This is not a slight on the gym. Their staff is great and the atmosphere is perfect for working out. I just want anyone who stops in late at night to take their belongings in or leave them at home.

I have been going to this gym for a while. It is always clean. I think they have a good variety of workout equipment and free weights. Staff is friendly. I try to go when it is not typically crowded due to COVID and so socially distancing has been pretty easy.

Went as a quest as I am a member at another gym, but I was very impressed! Nice facility and staff PLUS anything and everything you need! Also very clean.

The great was always upbeat and friendly - I just wish it was closer to my home. It was always clean and bright.

I had an appointment to talk to a trainer so that she could design my program. The trainer was very professional and I felt like she really cared about me meeting my goals. After speaking with her and showing me the machines and the proper way to use the machines. I will definitely be following her plan.

I recently transited back in to the gym a week ago since the pandemic and I have observed the facility has taken measures to ensure we as the customers are safe as well practicing social distancing guidelines. The facility was already nice and clean prior to any of this but now the team at my location has definitely made the transition back to gym life a much easier one for me.

Well now apparently you’re required to have a smart phone and required to have the app to even get in the gym. Even if you’ve been a member for over 4 years*Edit- it has to be your HOME gym to use your phone number. So if you’re a black card member traveling, again, you’re required to have the app.

Planet fitness Roswell, the staff and trainers are so friendly. They even remember our names. If anything is needed they are there to help out on any machine that you are on. The equipment is always working. The wonderful classes that are free buy trainers at planet fitness is spectacular. Awesome job to all the staff, trainers, in the whole planet fitness Roswell team

Great location. Super friendly personnel, especially Adriana, who always greets me BY NAME both on arrival and leaving. They even check me in when they see me coming so I dont even have to show my code. The place is kept neat and tidy. Pleasant experience, highly recommend this location.

Facility is clean. Employees are nice and supportive. Environment is comfortable. Not too crowded but enough other gym-goers so that theres a nice level of activity.

Night staff is the best!

Staff are helpful. Machines are different than what I have seen in other locations. The weight limits are lower and they may operate in a peculiar way. Only main cons are that there are no hand sanitizers nor small lockers to access. Parking is also pretty limited compared to other locations.

The staff are friendly and accommodating and seem like they actually don’t mind being at work! One girl remembers my name and checks me in when she sees me (meanwhile I don’t remember what I ate for breakfast) One time my car died in the parking lot and a kind employee of yours went out of her way to help me find jumper cables.The sani-stations are always stocked and clean. The restroom is always stocked and clean. I like the placement of the stair master at this location, please don’t ever move it.

This was not the best Planet Fitness location that I have ever been to. The equipment is slightly dated compared to my home location as well as the other Planet Fitness just 5 miles down the road. The staff could be much more friendly as well. I was immediately put off by the woman at the front desk when signing in which is required for some odd reason even though I have a Black card which grants me access to all Planet Fitness locations. My experience was so lackluster, I decided to drive to the next closest location which ended up being a much more pleasurable experience.

Great gym spacious and clean

William was great! On the phone and in person. Handled himself in such a professional manner seeing as though he was there by himself (short staffed) he made my sign up super quick and easy.

I love the PF in Roswell. It is not expensive and they have just what I need. Not too little and not too much.

I think this is a really great gym especially for the price. The staff is kind and welcoming. The gym is ALWAYS clean. There isnt any gym-intimidation. You couldnt find a better place to workout for $10 a month!

Was not allowed in because of the size of my water bottle. So what exactly is the reason I cant use a gallon sized jug? I didnt have a string tank top and I dont scream or grunt or throw weights around. I thought this was a judgment-free Zone.*updated*Thank you. That is understandable.

Nice, spacious planet fitness location. Gym equipment is well kept. The gym is very clean all the time. Locker rooms are spacious and well kept. Staff is very friendly. Best gym in the metro Atlanta area!!!!

Great gym for beginners. Lots of cardio. Enough machines to get a decent little pump. Not going to bash PF, but other gyms have saunas and swimming pools and basketball courts, etc, all for a very similar price to the black card membership at Planet Fitness. Had to cancel my membership, not seeing the value.

I signed up for PF during the beginning of the year special. roughly $2 to sign up, then $10 a mpnth with an annual fee in march for $36(?). With this pricing you cannot beat this place.If you are looking for a good gym, I would advise to keep looking. This place is just lacking. Most clientele do not use proper etiquette. Today I did ab work whilst the guy a few machines down face timed his girl on speakerphone. He didnt even turn it down when he saw me looking at him. Thanks buddy!I have also had a gentleman walk right next to me when I was doing delt raises. I had to stop my rep to avoid this guy.You will not get proper etiquette at this gym.If you want bench press, you are gonna have to use a smith rack... weird.The music is ok. I am told PF uses satellite radio. But you have to listen to ads. kinda lame.Again, for the price point the place is fine. If you are serious about working out, probably not the place for you.

Its Planet Fitness. Its an affordable gym but is focused on the beginner. Its the closest gym to where we live so that was our main reason to go there. Its got all we need to work out, just wish the machines had more weight on them. Almost maxed out a couple machines. We got the Black Card membership and use the hydromassage everyday. Feels good after a workout. If you are new to working out and on a budget I would still recommended this for you.

Finally gym that charges what I can actually afford. Not giving 5 stars because for busy parent like myself daycare would be a very helpful part of the gym. And toilet seat papers covers please. Hope that will change.

This Planet Fitness is clean and organised. The associates in the front are kind and laid back. This is not like an LA Fitness where you get these different kind of classes and people, these are people that are all body types and keep to themselves. I would recommend this gym to anyone

Ehh, thats all I can say. Very basic gym and equipment, and in my opinion, there are better gyms to sign up with for the price. I suggest you do your research before signing up.I feel like they often push how they are open 24 hours, but really they are not, they close normal hours on the weekends. I would keep that in mind if that is one of the benefits you are seeking.In my experience the staff have been friendly and helpful. Was a member here for one year and Ive never had a bad experience.Not the gyms fault but I am always hearing about break ins in this parking lot. Unfortunately that kept me away from this gym as well.

My favorite gym!. 😄 The facility is always clean; the staff is awesome & most of the time quite friendly. Its not as big as some of the others that Ive been to, but the location, amenities, and staff make up for it. Planet Fitness helped make my transition from Memphis to Atlanta smooth and easy. Now, I can visit any location, get my workout in, and relieve every ounce of stress!.

Pretty cool gym I go here almost every day but the machinery operates differently per gym. IDk if this is due to upgrades or maintenance. Some gyms have a more octagon shaped bench press while others look more squared. This difference changes the workout by the amount you can lift. All facilities should have the same equipment and be consistent. I should get the same experience at each planet fitness. But due to this inconsistency I have a favorite gym but its always packed.

So far the PF has being good to me, I enjoy everything about PF, lots of equipments available all time, nice and friendly environment. I love being PF member.

Supervisor Amrose was very unhelpful with a billing issue I had on my account. I am highly dissatisfied with the outcome of my issue and may end up cancelling my account. Worst experience yet. I love the facility though. Everyone else seems genuinely nice.

I like this gym a lot because it works for me right now, however the air conditioning is always WAY TOO COLD and besides that the fans are always on and on maximum speed. During the summer days people use to come in “smaller” clothes and it’s impossible to not pay attention to this freezing environment. If you pay attention to the customers no one likes to exercise under the huge fans unless the rest of the machines are full. During the winter was pretty much the same when there was no need for that... I’ve got a few colds due to this abrupt temperature changes.

I suggest going to Planet Fitness because the staff are amazing and they will do an amazing job helping you. Great facilities!

I have now attempted to cancel my membership twice. On the first attempt I was told I had to drive to my original location to cancel, so I drove (again) 30+ minutes out of my way to cancel the membership. I expected to be billed for that month (August), but have continued to be billed the following month (September). When I called to see what the issue was, I was passed off to someone else and then passed off again to the district manager. They wouldn’t give me a phone number, only an email. I was told I should have received some sort of email after cancelling my membership. It was never sent, and now I am having to jump through hoops because an employee failed to complete the original cancellation. The customer service systems Planet Fitness is using are outdated and inconvenient to the customer. Requiring people to drive to the original location regardless of the distance/time passed since visiting that specific gym, not allowing customers to speak directly to a manager, improperly handling documents, and prolonged customer service procedures are all to be expected of corporate companies like this. They do not care about you once they have your credit card information, and BE WARNED, they’re going to make you work to get it back!UPDATE: after posting this, the owner replied saying that the signature and a visit was required to the home store. CLEARLY not understanding that I have Already done that, and the EMPLOYEE failed to log the Information. Also said that the manager is who I should Contact when they wouldn’t give me a phone number to one. THIS IS TERRIBLE BUSINESS.

Clean enviornment, kind staff, surplus of various exercise equipment. I just wish there were weight scales provided on request. I understand there is a no judgement policy here, but some of us would like to track our progress, whether its losing or gaining weight. In all, a great location.

If you want to workout this is not the gym for you. If you want to pretend to workout this is your gym. Unless you want to run on the treadmill their equipment is very limited and there are no bar bells at all. Their dumbbells only go up to 60 pounds and their are no pull up bars at all.On top of all of that every time I go in there the employees are eating fast food behind the front counter.

Good gym. Friendly staff and machines/weights are of better quality than some of the other PF around the area. My only issues are the limited hours on the weekends and the smith machine bars are always greasy and slippery, making deadlifts and pull exercises nigh impossible without straps.

I recently moved to Atlanta and definitely like this gym. Even when i was just a visitor here i would come to this location and they are helpful, personable, and clean. They have generally everything Im looking for especially the yoga type workout balls that i think EVERY location should have. This gym location is awesome and diverse and i hope they keep up their amazing service

Massive amounts of white mold around the duct work right over the Smith machines. Not great for your health to be breathing. I feel bad for the employees breathing that everyday.

The staff here is amazing

Ive been going to the gym for a year abd always had a good experience. Today my battery died and Chelsea and Ambrose ( Mgt.) Helped me by finding someone who was able to jump my battery. Marc even stayed with me and Wow he asked me if I was ok with letting the car charge another 15 minutes bc he didnt want me to break down or it not start in the a.m. Ugh no sir. Youre helping me out!. Good people still exist! Oh and Ambrose made sure that the trees and bushes that blocked vision were respectfully removed.

Just joined yesterday, plenty of equipment, lots of variety, obviously great price. Your associate was polite and professional.Sadly my tour consisted of him showing me where the mens locker room was by pointing at it. The thing I noticed first and most was the overwhelming smell of body odor. I understand people come there to sweat, but I have never experienced that in any other gym. Your gym is small, and needs better ventilation. You will never walk into a Golds gym and experience that. That being said, the gym seemed clean, and the staff seems friendly enough, but I was definitely not wowed. Perhaps you shouldnt raise members expectations by advertising one thing, and delivering another. I hope this is received as constructive criticism, Im hopeful once I start training there my experiences will be better.Sincerely,Jim Costas

I have been taking classes at this gym with Ozkar since June of 2018 and I LOVE them! He is an amazing trainer! When I first started coming I couldnt even do a push up! He continued to motivate me and encourage me and now I can not only do push ups but I can see definition in my arms and legs! The entire staff at this location is super friendly and always says hello and my name when I walk through the door. But, hands down, Ozkar is the reason I come every day. He told me I would see results and I am definitely seeing results!!! Thank you, Ozkar!
