Great place to have a relaxing day/evening on the river. They even have a beer tap and food trucks on Thursday trough Sunday from 5-9pm. We went here after riding at big creek. On a Thursday with minimal crowds and fast service. The From the Earth brewing folks couldn’t have been nicer and the tacos from Tacos and Tequilas food truck were delicious. Great atmosphere with the river just a few feet away. Highly recommend!

Visited today, what a place, lots of action, kayaker, rafters, hikers hiking the Appalachian Trail, and us ordinary tourists.

Lack of directions and poor management of the place soured our experience. The front desk was not clear in their directions. We had to sign a paper and take it to their person, somewhere in the wonderland. We could not find this person anywhere. We spent an hour figuring out the secret key to success - how to get tubes and get to the water!Plus the parking situation was horrible and they don’t tell you about where to park on their website. Be mindful that the parking lot is open for general public as well.Eventually tubing on the river lifted our spirits!

The online reservation process is easy, and check-in was a pleasure. The prices are great as is the equipment. A perfect experience from reservation all the way through to equipment return.

What a wonderful place to put your foots in the river. I strongly recommend to go there on weekdays. Much quite than weekend. Bring your canoe, kayak, paddle board and even motored boat. Dont forget life jacket.

Good value, 35$ for over an hour plus all equipment kayak, life jacket, paddle, even bus ride from where cars parked to the start site so you can just finish one direction and get into your car :-). Friendly staff. Good easy river for beginners.

Can’t say enough good things about NOC. I would give 6 stars if that was an option! The location, staff, and accommodations at the Roswell Outpost more than exceeded my expectations. We booked a last minute kayak trip through NOC and it was absolutely amazing! Everyone was super friendly and more than willing to explain how everything works or just chat. I will definitely be booking with them again. This is a hidden gem in you live in the city and need a break from the concrete and noise. I almost forgot we were still So close to the city. The young lady that helped us was awesome (Blase, I believe, but I’m horrible with names so I may be wrong about that). Regardless, everyone who we had contact with was super friendly and accommodating. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you want to take a trip down the Chattahoochee in a kayak, canoe, or tube this is the place! Get out, get wet, and get back to nature with NOC!

Its hard to find a place to park. They charge you all these fees to rent kayaks that are totally unnecessary. They charged my frieds son full price even though he is 8.So it was 35 per person no matter your age. Ended up costing $90 for a tandem kayak. Thats sky high!! Kayak was probably paid off in 5 trips. Guess im in the wrong business it looks like. ;-)They told also it would be a 2 hour jayak ride back and it was literally only 20 minutes and we were already back to drop off point. No sense in taking shuttle since we had to paddle back up the river to get our moneys worth.Aside from all that, we managed to make it a fun day. You can get out in water if you go near the ends if the island there near drop off point. Water feels really nice.

My daughter and I had a great time kayaking the Hooch this morning. The staff was super helpful and friendly, especially Blaise who is passionate about everything to do with the Chattahoochee and paddle sports. Parking can be tricky but they have a shuttle service that we will use next time.

We had a blast tubbing down the Chattahoochee River. Will definitely be back!

This was my first time kayaking with my mom. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Blaze and May. The river was very calm and peaceful, super easy to navigate. There was different wildlife to see. Super family friendly place, will definitely be coming back !

Our family had a great time on the Chattahoochee river thanks to NOC. We rented kayaks and the entire crew at the Azalea Dr. location in Roswell were stellar. Well be back!

Do not pre-pay! Made kayak reservations and paid in full a couple of hours before our reservation time. When we arrived we were told there were no rentals that day due to river conditions. Two days later we still dont have our credit card refund. Is this a scam or poor service? Either way, dont prepay for anything from this company.

The five stars is only for my overall all experience on the paddle boards. Staff is fairly nice and helpful if you have questions. You will need a mask while checking in and riding the bus to the river. Be careful paddling under the bridge, the water is fairly shallow with protruding rocks and logs.

My girlfriend and I rented standup paddle boards for an out and back trip on the river. We had a great time! We went for about 2 hours, which was enough to paddle upstream and explore, then casually float back. The current is pretty perfect: not difficult to paddle against, but enough to gently take you back if you wanted to just lay on your board with your feet in the water (which is what we did, because the water felt so nice). It was very easy to check-in, get the boards, and get on the river! They were taking excellent precautions for Covid-19, and the staff was super helpful and friendly! I would highly recommend!

Have not rented from but had a flat while riding one day and they were extremely friendly and helpful, pumping up my tire!

Rented Kayaks here and went from Don White to Azalea. Very friendly and helpful staff, I highly recommend this place. Will be back another day.
