I obtained a 10 x 30 storage unit in September, 2020. Up until now I have been very satisfied. The staff is great and is always ready to assist. Then I get a letter regarding an increase. I have stored for years and am used to increases from $20 up to around $40 maximum at one time. Never, ever have I received a $100 increase all at once which is what I received from Old Ellis. Who gives such a drastic increase at one time? When I questioned it I was told it was done electronically via some new system with no human intervention that would check to see the increases were fair. This is quite disturbing as I could not afford the substantial increase and am now forced to downsize and move to a smaller unit which imposes an undue amount of time and work which my schedule cannot accomodate at this time. While I am all for technology, I believe that there has to be a point when a human steps in and regulates what is fair.

Both visits were outstanding! The fellow and the girl that work there were very knowledgable and accommodating. I could not have asked for more! Several visits to the office and always Very Professional! They both are so different (better) than most people you see these days. Outstanding!

This is the best storage facility experience I’ve ever had in my life and I’m no spring chicken. The facility is clean, convenient and very well-maintained. With that said, the highlight is Josie. In a day and age where customer service is mediocre at best, Josie is spectacular. She’s professional, courteous and organized. So glad I chose Elite for my storage needs.

Friendly staff. Easy and quick to rent a uhaul. They were open on a Sunday. Lots of moving supplies available to buy such as boxes, wrapping plastic, ropes, tapes and so on.

The staff seem to be very friendly and informative, I was greeted immediately by employees at the front desk which were cheerful and seemed happy to help as well as personable. I had a good business experience and would recommend checking it out for yourself if you are reading this review.

The staff is pleasant and helpful; however, the owner (Jim) is rude and unethical. Within a year of renting a unit, on 3 separate occasions my bank card was drafted for payment without my authorization. After requesting my card information be removed each time, it would be used again a few months later.My last complaint of unauthorized use was made November 2018. Jim vehemently stated, “if you don’t like it you can move down the road to public storage”.As of January 2019 I have made arrangements to move out of my unit. I didnt have a remaining balance and I confirmed 2 months in a row and the day of my move. Upon arriving, I have learned that there has been a lock illegally placed on my unit with a note to see management as they are closed for the day.I now have to make arrangements for a hotel overnight because I live out of town.This has been an unethical and disheartening experience and I plan to report to the BBB.Follow up to Jim’s response:As I’ve mentioned above, I DID NOT authorize my card to be on file for an automatic draft.Furthermore, the contract allows for a late payment to be added if indeed a payment is made after the 10th of the month which contradicts your argument and your immoral practices.In addition, your opinion of “accounting practices” does not justify unethical and illegal practices of your company. My account is CURRENTLY paid, and has remained in GOOD standing every month in the past. A lock on the unit of a paid account exhibits yet another poor ethical discussion on your behalf and is bad for business.

Parking lot needs to be paved but the staff was very helpful and friendly. Even recommending moving help and helping load a car on an auto transport trailer.
