This was my first time. I brought my new F-350 King Ranch in for an oil change (diesel) and the staff were very helpful. The owner processed my check-in and everything went smoothly. Would highly recommend this shop for everything from general maintenance such as oil change to larger fixes (yep, I have had both). Very convenient and customer service is exceptional. I stopped in on a Thursday to inquire about a repair and was in the next morning to have the work completed and was given a free loaner car for the day--stress free! I was contacted throughout the day on the status of the repair and cost. Definite savings over dealer costs for repairs on BMW autos. Staff are awesome! Best of all...is the peace of mind of having my car repaired properly.

I was on a cross country trip when my truck started having issues just outside of Woodbury, MN. I was stuck in a hotel for two nights waiting for a repair shop to open. I found the Medi Car website easily and was thankful they had an online form to schedule repairs. Brandon messaged me back within a few hours on a Sunday night to reassure me that he would do everything in his power to get my truck going and get me back on the road.He called me first thing the next morning and advised me of a closer shop that he recommended since the tow alone to his shop would cost me a couple hundred dollars and take a few hours due to road construction. He could have just towed my truck without regard for my finances but he didn’t. I haven’t seen this type of customer service in a long time, and it’s very much appreciated!! If I am ever this way again and am having car issues, I would definitely trust Brandon and his team!!! Thanks so much!!!

I have had my sons car in three times. They quoted $800 for a service that my son and I figured out and did in one hour for $160 in parts. How in the world could they come up with $800 for this?! We are not experienced so I’m sure they could have done the work in 20-25 minutes.It made me realize I should check the previous invoice and I realized they took me for a lot of $$ labor on the previous work.The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and I like supporting local business, but there is a huge difference between making a profit and taking advantage of your customers.We will NOT be back.

My wife and I take a domestic and foreign car here. Very friendly staff, they write done everything they touch or work on, on the paperwork. They have given us rides to and from the shop, and seem to be very knowledgeable and honest mechanics. The owner has typically given us a courtesy call a week or two after service to make sure our needs were met. Would recommend to anyone in the area, but if too many people find out about this place, it might cause there to be wait times to get in =)

Medi-Car Auto repair in Woodbury has become my go to for auto repair. I no longer feel “dumb” going to get my car fixed. They listen to me and answer all my questions with honesty! They don’t try to sell me on anything and they explain everything that is going on with my car. They also have a great play are for my kids when they come with me! This place has great customer service - love them!

Asked Donnie to work up a price and it was more than I wanted to spend on my sons car as it was old. Not a bad price, just a little high. Decided to fix it as we knew the car and figured it was better than getting another car we didnt know. Being new to the area, I wasnt sure where to take my vehicle for an oil change and preparation for winter. Im glad I chose Medi-CAR. The staff was attentive and friendly and the service tech very efficient. The waiting area was comfortable, though I didnt have to wait long for them to take care of my car. Everyone was very friendly and professional. They did exactly what I requested and when the repair needed some more work than I thought they let me talk directly to the mechanic. The mechanic was very good at explaining the problem and why it needed the repair. No one was pushy or gave me a sales pitch. The cost was also very reasonable and came with a 1 year warranty. I will defineitly go to them again!

I saw their advertisement and Im usually weary about mailers, but I gave them a try and it was such a positive experience. Brandon was genuinely attentive and provided transparency at every step of the repair. I had taken my vehicle to the dealership for a diagnostic and wanted a 2nd opinion; Im very glad that I chose Medi-CAR to do my repairs. After the repair, they showed me all of the defective parts and thoroughly explained the cause of my issue. I also needed an additional service and they were very honest to tell me they can do it, but their $s arent competitive since its not something they do often, so they recommended me to specialized shop. The recommendation shop was also a wonderful experience. Its been a few months now and my 10 year old vehicle runs like new.

Fantastic customer service. I had an inquiry about brakes via email and they responded right away and recommended I come in for a free brake check. Came in the next day and they got the car right in and even brought me into the shop to show me the ware on the pads. I scheduled brake service a few days later. I asked if they had any discounts or coupons current, they said they didnt but after the service $50 was taken off on a promotion that had expired a week before but was still honored for my vehicle. Also another shop in town indicated I need new rear calipers but Medicar said they werent stuck so this saved me another $500 if I had gone elsewhere. Thank you Brandon for outstanding service!

Honest, courteous and prompt. Whether it is routine maintenance or one time repair work, the people at Medi-CAR deal with you as you have imagined an honest and decent person would, but have ruled out that possibility with mechanic shops. I have been taking our vehicles there for several months now, am now confident that what I see with these folks is what I get. What I get are factual information, reasonable price and prompt work. As a woman, I feel, for the first time, that a mechanic is not trying to pull a fast one on me. It helps knowing that Medi-CAR is owned and operated by a woman.

This is the only place I would take my car in the south metro. They are all so very knowledgable and such a pleasure to work with. Unlike other shops, they are not looking for ways to get your money, but instead they just do a really good honest job, so that you will trust them & want to come back.

Everyone at Medi-CAR was great the two times Ive had my Nissan Maxima in. It has 150,000, and its starting to leak and squeak. My radiator had cracked on one of the hottest days of the year. Debs team diagnosed the problem immediately that following day, gave me an estimate, and replaced the necessary parts quickly. Now my car runs better than before, and Ill definitely be taking it back in the future. Thanks for the loaner too!

My wifes car broke down in Bloomington, I called Medi Car for some advice and Gary gave me some ideas and arranged a tow. They took a look at the car and knew immediately what was wrong, John explained it very well. They have a real asset in this fellow. He knows his stuff. They let me use a no charge loaner for the afternoon and I was back on the road later that day. Plus, I had a coupon for $50 off the repair. Overall a very, very good experience.

Im continuing to go to Medi-CAR and continue to be extremely happy with their service. Their honesty is refreshing.--On Thursday, I went to Medi-CAR for the first time for an oil change. I knew I was going to need tires this fall/winter, but I didnt know how badly; the cords were showing on at least two of the tires and Medi-CAR allowed me to view and see the tire wear myself (the tire wear was on the inner side of the tire, so not easily visible w/out the vehicle hoisted). They were able to put tires on the next day, and I paid less for these tires than my previous tires, and these have a better tread life warranty. Im definitely going back.

Repairs are a little on the pricey side. I had an ignition coil replaced there and was billed $275 ($35 per coil is the cost if I went with the upgraded red coil online, the same ones used in the R8), I thought all 4 were gonna be replaced for the price I was quoted but only the faulty one was. I also had the PCV replaced that was nearly $400 and the part was $120 online through ecs. And lastly I had a repair covered under extended warranty for the rear main seal and I was billed for bolts that they said werent covered by the warranty company. Another mechanic I used to go to that moved to Plymouth said they wouldve just eaten the cost at his shop. While Medicar fixed the problem, I also paid quite the premium and markup. In the future Id just carve out the time in my crazy schedule to do the repairs myself or Id get the car to Plymouth Being charged for the bolts was basically my last straw.

I had my car in twice for a loss of power and misfiring . each appointment ran $600 for a total of $1200 and still the issue remained. a subsequent trip to another shop turned up a simple vacuum line disconnected. cost $0I got a $1200 enema. I wouldnt let these people fix my go cart.

My first experience with MediCar was not what we expected. Sent son in with his car for brake check. He was told his oil level was very low and needed an oil change. I change his oild and knew it was not low. Had him decline the oil change. And of course his oil level was fine when he returned. On our first experience we found MediCars business practices to be dishonest and sure glad we walked away. Beware folks!

First time visit, and everything that could go wrong did. Initially took the truck in to have the 4wd serviced as it was not working. They recommended replacing the transfer case control module to fix the 4wd issue and also installing a new water pump as they had discovered an issue with the water pump. I gave the go-ahead for both services and they had it ready by the end of the day. I got in the truck, and my 4wd was working, but my service engine soon light was on! (it was not on when i brought the truck in) I turned around and took it right back to ask them to look at it again. They showed me the fan in the engine was not turning at startup causing the light to come on. They showed me where the connection is and that it was connected properly, but was only engaging the fan when squeezed tightly together. They remedied this situation by putting a zip-tie around the part to hold it together. I wasnt excited about the fix, but was glad the service engine soon was off. Took the truck home, the first cold start it had a couple days later, the 4wd was not working again and the service 4wd light was back on. The 4wd would only work if the truck was already warm and was shut off and turned back on, so weird. Called the shop to get it back in and dropped it off on a Monday. They were able to discover that the aftermarket transfer case control module they had installed was not communicating correctly and tried to have it re-programmed. They told me there would be no additional charge as it was their mistake. This did not work, and they had to install a different part and get the codes from the dealer to program it correctly. They wanted to drive the car home Tues night to make sure that everything was now working, I gave the okay since I really did not want to have to bring the truck back again. They also informed me that because they should have installed and programmed the correct part to begin with, that they would need to charge me for the reprogramming of the new part...what?! super dissatisfied that they did not go the extra mile and swallow the cost to fix their mistake. To me, it is all about perception - I paid for expertise and service. All service that was done was based on the expert recommendation, it was not my fault it was done incorrectly the first time. Picked the truck up on Wednesday, and relief! No lights on the dash and everything seems to be working correctly...finally, after the 3rd time. While I appreciated them wanting to drive the truck to make sure it was good to go, I definitely did NOT appreciate that they didnt refill the gas tank, left an empty coffee cup in the cup holder, and unhooked both of my childrens car seats in the back seat. Everyone I dealt with was super nice and I love supporting small business, which is why i went there in the first place, but this experience left a lot to be desired.

I was surprised to find a mechanic clinic like this in such a small town, in rosemount of all places. They are a hybrid of a car dealership with service, yet having the accomadations of local shop. If youre looking for $19.99 oil change, this is not your shop (change your own oil!). We had brought our 94 LHS in for problems that were not resolved from other mechanics (it fooled medi-car initially as well), but it was the follow up calls and afterhours re-checks at no charge that would make me come back. Of course, service beyond any male shop, this one is run by a woman!P.S. Medi-Car, the LHS will be out of your lot soon. Its being donated to Cars for Courage!Thanks again, youll be seeing the new pilot soon.

My brother-in-Law had replaced his U-joints on his truck and was sure he had to rebuild his rear end. I had him bring it in to Medi-Car and it turns out he boluxed the U-Joint replacement. They replaced tehm and saved him considerable frustration and potential further damage to his drive train. These guys know their stuff!
