I recently walked into big mikes barber shop for a haircut. Upon arriving I asked how long the wait would be for a walk in. They replied with 20 min.After waiting for an hour & a half and seeing the barbers take appt after appt I finally thought it would be my turn, it was not.Two of the barbers took breaks instead of cutting my hair. They both knew I was waiting for 90min but it didn’t matter. They went to Starbucks and left me there waiting longer. At that point I decided to get up and walk out.I’ve never seen such unprofessionalism shown to a customer from any business. Clearly I will not be returning & I recommend you don’t either. I went on a Saturday morning. There were 6 barbers. It was maximum capacity with customers. I was beginning to lose hope but Jose was great. He told me that someone would be with me. He explained that he had an appointment so he had to step away. When his appointment was a no show, he promptly took me instead. Good job, Jose!! My review went from 1 star to 4 stars because of Jose. Sometimes all it takes is a little communcation.

OK Mike it time you just tell customers up front it going to cost $20.dollars for a hair cut,People dont like going in your shop and seeing you and your staff going in the back and waiting for your appointments, instead of cutting peoples hair that walk in without an appointment. You have a good staff and Im willing to pay the 20. Dollars. But its wrong to mislead customers and make them wait and in the last minute you and your staff say Im closed or Im leaving. Thats wrong . Just put the new price 20.00 for hair cuts and if the want it theyll pay for it, if not theyll go somewhere else. Its that simple. Just be up front with the customer we dont like to be treated this way.

Wonderful Experience was our first time there my wifes friend recommended us this place we use to go to a place in Pasadena to go cut my sons hair and no more since we went to ( Big Mikes) barber shop we had an awesome experience they treated us like family and Angel was our barber he is a chill, down to earth Vato really cool and he took care of my son as well as me. Guy took over an hour for a haircut did the johny vee line to fat. I was nice enough to tip. But for this price ill stick to my normal barber half the price and could do a solid nice johny b line.

Love this place. Environment is cool. You dont feel out of place. Angel particularly gives good fades.

People were friendly. My grandsons haircut was nice enough. Price was reasonable. The only problem was TV was too loud. It was a Little distracting.

I have only been here once, I felt they were very rude and lazy. Got ignored when we walked in. One of the guys stood on his cell phone for a long time and ignored me when I was 2/3feet away while saying excuse me. Ill never take my father n law back here again. No smiles. 0🌠
