The receptionists are very kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming here. My hygienists were gentle and offered zero judgment during my cleaning, even explaining what they were doing as they cleaned my teeth; the best experience I’ve had during a cleaning.The dentist had excellent bedside manner and offered good advice; she was able to answer all my questions and took the time to make a dental impression for me to try out a mouth guard before I purchase one.They’ve got the best prices in town, and a waiting time that isn’t absurd.

Im not a fan of going to the dentist. I don’t know of many that are. We do it because we want to remain healthy. Since Mrs Dr V became my dentist, I don’t enjoy it more but I do feel safe. I just got a filling redone and it didn’t hurt one bit! She has bedside manner, talks through the procedure before and checks on you during, being sure to provide you encouragement. I do like her being my dentist and the quality of work and her professionalism is important to me! Thank you so much!!

This clinic is the best in Rolla area! They are effective and the best hygienists in the area. Midwest has been effective in serving patients during The Wuhan C19 virus. We will continue to use this clinic. They take our insurance and have been so friendly and helpful. We recommend them!

Was able to get me in on a short notice and I was not an established pt. Opens at 7 a.m. allowing you to get in prior to work for alot of people this is a great option. Provided the highest quality care and treatment. Answered all questions and concerns I had and helped with billing / insurance issues. Will definitely be going back and highly recommend to anyone looking for state of the art care and professionalism.

The dr was amazing and would definitely return as well as recommend. The staff was equally as amazing. At 51 years old this is the first dental office where I actually felt like they cared about the way the patient felt. The last couple dental appointments, at other dentist have been enough to make me never want to see one again. But Midwest in rolla was the game changer.

Visting town lost a filling and they got me in 1st thing next morning took care of it. Very professional and friendly handling my filling. Liked that they had all coronavirus precautions in place, felt very safe.

Im very anxious about visiting the dentist, but my visit was pleasantly non stressful. The staff is professional and very gentle. The dentist was a very gentle and knowledgeable Young women.

We have used this office when it was owned by another practice so my family decided to continue. Ive had several instances with insurance billing and the office staff being rude. Most recent, I was billed for a fluoride treatment on our minor that wasnt authorized. When I called about it, it took three days for someone to call me to explain and she said that they can never tell me what my insurance is going to cover so its only an estimate at service. WHAT? Most insurance is pretty clear on what they cover and when for routine checks and they definitely shouldnt treat any minor without consent from a parent. We are taking our business elsewhere to an office who at least understands basic routine insurance coverage at the office and preferably with a more courteous demeanor.

Wonderful, compassionate service and a great vibe really puts me at ease. Great work! I would give 6 stars if I could.

I had a number of jobs done about a year ago including a crown by Dr. Najwa. She is a very good dentist, and the desk was friendly; however, I was overcharged by almost $200! I got the letter a month ago about the overcharge, went in and was told it would take 2-3 weeks for them to refund. Still no refund four weeks latter...Funny how they expect payment immediately at time of service, but returning your money is not as important. Seems they should include the interest they earn on that money. This makes the second dentist in Rolla who has done this so Ill be looking for another.

Wow, these guys are always great. You know you are going to be well taken care of from the moment you enter the door. Everyone is friendly, takes great care of you and the work is fantastic! I couldnt believe it when I looked in the mirror after my procedure - a perfect, natural looking match to my other teeth. They are great!

Had a cleaning and exam here. During the exam the dentist found a cavity and took the time to show me where it was. When I later got the cavity filled it was a completely painless process. The people who work here and the atmosphere put my mind at ease. I highly recommend this place.

Yesterday I was seen to have my first ROOT CANAL, you can only imagine my fear and hesitation. I am a sissy-girl when it comes to a visit to the dentist office, been like that for years due to a horrible experience way back.First, I am so pleased to report, I felt no pain! All the horror stories I have heard through the years faded away at the hands of this dentist and his assistant! Everything was explained to me before anything took place in a very calm, confident manner. Their computers were down and even before beginning, the dentist had an fresh x-ray taken to double check the root issue and placement. That alone, made me feel that I was in competent hands! Through out the procedure a few more x-rays were done, just to double check that all was as it should be! The best news was when I woke up this morning, I had no pain or discomfort in my mouth!!!! I am so grateful to MidWest Dental for making this root canal a very positive experience! Thank you Doctor and Phyllis, I do appreciate your time, expertise, professionalism and tender understanding of my fears through this experience! Thank you so much, I recommend MidWest to everyone!

I just spent thousands of dollars repairing/re-doing poor work I received at Midwest Dental, including a root canal that would not have been necessary if my nerve was not damaged by a messy filling job I received here. I’ll stick to travelling to St. Louis to the dentist for now on. Thankful I was able to find somewhere to fix the nightmare I endured as a result of trusting Midwest Dental.

The dentist and hygienist have been good. They need to replace the girls in the front office. I am two years late getting an over payment back and work that I have had now, they took almost rwo weeks to get the price that they said would be the maximum after insurance Now they are trying to add $300 to the bill. When I said I didnt agree with them changing the cost and that if that was the way they do business I would find a different dentist, they started laughing as I walked out.If I owned a business that deals with people and that happened, they eould be fired.Definitely not going back.

I really like the new dentists. Very nice and easy to talk to about problems, they are very conscious of time and comfort. Ive been in twice for filling cavities in the past year and they are extremely good with numbing before drilling, quick procedures, and recovery time. My last procedure I received two fillings and I was done in about 45 minutes. When my mouth regained feeling about 1.5 hours later, there was 0 pain and I had no problems eating or drinking. Even the next day it was hard to remember I had a procedure done. This is much better than the other 3 dentists Ive been to in my life! Im very happy with the Varneys!

I went there to get a filling done and was told no problem. They got me in and verified my insurance. They did some ex rays, recommended that the tooth be removed, but cant do it until a month out. So what am I suppose to do. I was expecting to get things taken care of. I explained that I am not from the Rolla area and am here for work. Am I supposed to wait a month to get my tooth taken care of? All they seem to care about is getting the insurance check more than taking care of the patient. They didnt do anything that I asked them to do. But Im sure they are going to bill my insurance company and me for doing nothing. I had to seek help elsewhere to get the help required. I will not be back to see these guys again.

A wonderful dental clinic. I have brought my children here since they were toddlers and they always looked forward to seeing Missy. She is kind and thorough and has always somehow made cleanings a pleasant experience.

They have two new dentists in the office (Dr. Atkinson retired). I have seen Dr. Coffey 3 times now (having to have numerous fillings) and he is great. Until seeing him I always requested gas before any procedures. I decided Id give him a try without any and he turned out great. I had no pain and no anxiety, he and his assistant, Denise, kept me entertained the whole time. If you have a fear of the dentist, give him a try.

I decided to get a second opinion and I am very grateful I got one from an honest dentistMidwest Dental said I needed a crown replaced I was very unhappy with the price quoted. I found out 2 things from my second opinion.1. The replacement is not necessary because the crown isnt damaged it is just missing a little porcelain. 2. What shocked me more.... What I thought was a porcelain crown is actually a metal crown covered in porcelain.Needless to say they have lost my business.

Excellent Dental Care and Awesome Staff! We 1st found Midwest Dental last year when my husband had a dental emergency. After having horrible experiences in the past, my husband was quite nervous. Denice was able to calm him and assured him that the doctors here were the best and would make sure he was comfortable. Well, she was right! Dr. Coffey was awesome. My husband already had an upper plate and they were able to take his bottom teeth and made him a complete set of PERFECT dentures. Yesterday was my first appointment and I have to say I was also happy with the service. Heather was gentle with me (im a big baby at the dentist) and they were able to set up my next appointment for a deep cleaning and the 1 tooth I need fixed on the same day. Dr. Varney was very personable and honest with me. Dont want to forget the office staff, Megan at the front desk always has a smile and is very helpful and friendly. Truth be told, when we first started going to Midwest Dental they were out of network, but we were so impressed we were willing to pay a little more out of pocket. Happy to say they are now in network but regardless we would stay with them. Thats how good they are!

Nobody really likes to go to the dentist but when you do have to go this is definitely the place. My visit was quick, easy and painless and all the staff make you feel welcome.

After having a couple of teeth fixed including fillings and crowns Im leaving this comment. Theyre respectful people, if it really matters, but at a really high price. Theres just ONE doctor with a lot of assistants. You hardly ever see the doctor. For diagnostic works, Dr. Atkinson barely spends more than ONE MINUTE talking to you about your problem and immediately leaves and all youre left is a $60 to $100 diagnosis bill. Really??!I am serious. I will definitely change my dentist from now on. Im not that type of person like writing bad comments but this is based on mine and my buddys experience. If you want, you can go and see how much time and care is given to you from the doctor. He just glances at your X-Ray saying this is your problem and leaving right after that.
