So far so good. Had some recall issues taken care off and a broken sensor replaced.
Absolutely horrible experience here with the service department. I have had a 2021 Suburban here for a month. 10,000 miles on a brand new vehicle. It is at this particular dealership because it was the closest one when my vehicle started having issues. They have yet to move or even pull it into the shop! Have never contacted us, we continually have to call them to check the status to find out there has still been nothing done. They did not have a loaner for me to drive at the time of the break down, I’ve been paying a rental fee on a vehicle for them to continue to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! I wouldn’t take to or buy anything from here because if something happens, you’ll never get your vehicle back.

Their service department is fantastic. They dont B.S. around and try to sell you something you dont want or necessarily need. They also dont charge an arm and a leg for a diagnostic fee. Ill continue to use this dealership as long as it stays the same with the new owner and all.
They won’t give you your mygmrewards points for work done. The lady that took my car in told me I had to print a voucher from the website, that makes no sense since they are supposed to take mygmrewards card number and my account is automatically awarded the points based on the cost of the wrok done.
The service department was extremely friendly and helpful. My appointment was on time, and car done quickly. I couldn’t wait while the oil change was being done, so I was brought home and then picked back up by very courteous and professional staff. Thank you as always!
I was so thankful that Fairground auto actually had the service department open on Saturday. I am from Texas and was on my way home from training in St Louis, in my new 5407 miles chevy. When it just slowed from 78 to 40 mph on the highway, this was Very scary. The closets dealership Lauras (I think) service department was closed. Turns out up that way most service departments are closed on Saturdays. But then we found Fairground. and you were open. Everyone was so kind, knowledgeable and got me safely back on the road,.. I arrived at 10:30 for an 11 am appointment on Thursday, March 4th. I told Rachel that I was a bit early. She checked for my appointment and discovered I had come a day early! My appointment was for Friday. Without hesitation, she checked with the technicians to see if they could service the car as I drive about 54 miles one way. Immediately she came back and said they would be happy to do the service and would do it right away. I have been coming to Fairground since May of 2006 when we bought 2 vehicles and our daughter bought one all in the same day. I have always been pleased with the service department each time I have been there. This time they went above and beyond and I am so grateful for Rachel and Nathen, the tech. Thank you Fairground for employing such caring and efficient staff!
I had my Cadillac serviced there today and that went well. The people in the service area were very professional and customer oriented but when I went to the waiting room several people were unmasked in a small space. I would have waited outside but the temperature was in the low 40s so I sat out in the showroom. This worked OK but many or most of the sales staff also did not wear masks and ousted by several times. Great place to have you GM car serviced but until the pandemic is under control I would carefully consider the risk of shopping for a new car here. By the time the car needs service again maybe it will be warm enough to wait in the park.

Took an hour to change oil and rotate tires. I was told it would take about that long, before it went in for service. Rates are good.
The reason the truck was at the dealership was because the fuel pump drive module was causing no start issues. Fairgrounds reprogramed that. I also mentioned another problem that I was having. The truck has a very harsh shift into drive with a cold start up. I was disappointed to hear them say its normal.

We had Fairground program a new computer we needed for our vehicle.Travis said I dont think you guys needed the computer but the diagnostic test that was done at another shop said we did. Fairground didnt test our old computer so how would they know ? I dont feel Travis in the Service Dept was honest with my wife and I. We had some repairs done at another shop and Travis claimed that the other shop didnt tighten replaced parts on our vehicles front end. (A lower control arm and ball joint) and that the leak on the Rack and Pinion wasnt fixed either that it was still leaking although I couldnt find any leak. The other shop we had our vehicle at repaired this instead of charging us to replace it and us spending over $300 on a new one.Another thing is after Fairground reprogrammed our computer they said our vehicle still wouldnt run and that needed to replace the throttle body because the butterfly was stuck shut.When my wife drove it last it ran fine. She parked it and it wouldnt start only turn over. The previous owners said the ignition was bad. We had the other shop replace this along with a transmission shift cable and put a new battery in also. It is a good probability that the bad ignition caused the computer issue which has nothing to do with the throttle body. I went ahead and had Fairground replace the throttle body. So for the Computer reprogram and the throttle body plus labor and a front end alignment it was ($708) The other shop for all the work I had done was( $250)Dont think Ill be taking my vehicle back here !Update. They apparently didnt do a alignment. My front tires were just fine since I bought the vehicle and drove it for 2 months even after having the new parts put on the front.After Fairground did the work they did and the alignment they said they did my front tires are wore on the inside to the threads.Just had to spend over $300 on new tires and another $100 for a real alignment.I wouldnt recommend going here. I guess if you buy a vehicle from here it would be different.Darn crooks ! Most dealerships are. Ive got a great shop to go to at more than half the cost and they only fix what needs fixed also they fix stuff not just say they did.

Had to go back multiple time because they weren’t prepared to install the part. After I was charged again after I paid online through the Chevy app. I’m still waiting for the refund after contacting Chevy.

I had a really bad experience with their repair service. My car had the emergency brake light on and also issue with air conditioner. It took them one hour to do the diagnosis, and told me the brake fluid, pads, rotors all should be replaced, but they were not sure if it will resolve the emergency brake light issue. They couldnt do diagnosis on the air conditioner because the temperature was low on that day. I wish they could have told me that before I waited for one hour. In the end, I was charged one hours diagnosis fee. Then, I took my car to another repair shop nearby. In less than five minutes, they fixed the emergency brake light simply by putting in more brake fluid.

First never found out about timing belt. later found out it doesnt have oneit has a chain. ( my own research) 2nd was told cant service differental. have three chevy dealers say it can. 4 diy websites say it can. and my 2007 hhr was bought and serviced at your facility and the differental was serviced at your facility for 250,000 plus miles along with oil changes, trans service, etc etc..... and installing clutch jumped bill almost 1200.00 from original estimate of 1600.00 . so cost almost 2800.00 to get my car back . must be gold plated clutch assembly and plenty of coffee breaks to run a clutch change up to 1200.00 dollars. you know what they say a happy customer tells a few close friends. an unhappy one tells everybody he meets . oh and please publish my response !
It was Friday afternoon and they couldnt take 15 minutes to hook the computer up to my truck to diagnose the check engine light. Luckily for me Lowe Chevrolet could take the 15 minutes to check the code and clear it so I could continue my trip over the weekend.

We were in the middle of hauling in hay and the ignition switch in my pick up started giving me problems. I was afraid we were going to be left sitting. I called Fairground Auto Plaza and talked to Willis in service. He got me in immediately and took care of my truck while I waited. They were very professional and accommodating. I will definitely take my truck back to them when I have more issues.

Contacted them through the website to confirm availabilty of 2 vehicles for a test drive so as not to waste an 80 mile round trip. After arrival I was disappointed to find out that one of the vehicles I was assured was available had been sold the previous day. Ive made a few attempts to shop at Fairground and never been impressed. Dont waste your time.

For anyone that received something in the mail about winning a prize, its a lie. Many people show up to collect a flat screen TV or cash that theyve won, but its just a scam to get you to come into the dealership. If a dealership is willing to mislead you with the mail they send you, think about what theyre willing to do when it comes to selling you a vehicle or servicing your vehicle. Obviously they dont care about being honest in their work, so I highly recommend visiting a different dealership. Getting mail like this is more than enough for me to decide whether or not I would ever buy or service a car here.

The car I bought was the first new car I have ever bought. Edward helped me and I think he did an amazing job, as did finance. Not once did I feel like I was being pestered, he took his time explaining the process and I enjoyed being able to test drive the vehicle on my own without having a salesperson talk the whole time about how amazing the car is. I dont have the best credit so I really appreciated how hard finance worked to make sure that I can purchase the car on my own without a co signer yet fit my budget. I had a wonderful experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

I bought a used 2014 Ram 3500 from them which had some imperfections but they knocked down the price a bit. Nothing seemed to be hidden, however the sales person didnt have too much information on the vehicle, although it wasnt one of their makes, I would still have information above the CarFax for the product Im selling.There was really no pressure at all and the people seemed very nice. They allowed me to look it over as much as I wanted and took it for a test drive twice.Financing was available, however the options seemed to be primarily local, which isnt bad that they are trying to use other local businesses however I was able to find a decently cheaper rate doing my own research.Before buying the vehicle, as it was used and already showed some signs of wear, I asked specifically if something were to happen would they help us out? Greg Andrews was the sales person and his response was yes. So we bought it; drove it home about 1.5 hours away and parked in the driveway. I took it to work the next day and approximately 15 minutes from my house the check engine light come on. I took it to our local repair shop that we have been using for a long time. After their inspection, it was determined that a new TURBO (estimated repair of $4500-$6500 was needed. I contacted Greg and after a few discussions said for me to bring it down to them so they could look it over. Few days later Greg called and stated it was the TURBO and he mentioned a price that was roughly on the low side of the previous estimations and reiterated his commitment when we bought it and my frustration that since I had owned the vehicle, within basically 2 hours of driving the vehicle the check engine light came on with a major repair and up to that discussion, I had been able to drive it less than 8 hours over the last 2 weeks. He checked in with, I assume his general manager, and a much more agreeable number was struck. The Turbo was fixed and the truck has done well since, about 4,000 miles.As it was a used vehicle, there was no warranty but Greg made good on his word which is becoming more rare these days.
I got in on my scheduled time & service was done in a timely fashioned.

Went there to pickup our 2012 Terrain which they kept for 2 weeks + to repair anEngine problem . Got the car back and could not leave because the A/C did not work, blowing hot air and power steering was hard to turn. So had to leave it againSee how long it will take to figure out what is wrong with it now. Before they return theAuto to the owner they should check out allSystems before returning to the owner.

We just moved to the area about two weeks ago, started having car trouble this weekend. I went to an OReillys that told me the battery was bad, as well as the alternator and voltage regulator. Since it was more than just the battery, I opted to take the car to Fairground Chevrolet. Im glad I did!I explained to Dave at the service department what Id been told about the car and gave him a bit of history on the battery drain over the weekend. I left in a rental car, because their earliest appointment was 1pm tomorrow.I got a call from Dave this afternoon. Theyd already fixed my car, they got it in early. It was not the alternator or voltage regulator as Id been told, just a dead battery. They had changed the oil and air filter at my request, I was able to pick up my car before closing today, which meant I saved a fortune on 2 more days of paying for a rental. AND I have my car back, so I dont have to stress now about getting my child to school or doing the errands I needed to do tomorrow.You guys have gained a repeat customer! Thank you so much for taking care of us, it was very sincerely appreciated. We have a long trip planned this weekend and having my car fixed and serviced will do a great deal for my peace of mind!
Customer service is wonderful! I had scheduled an oil change and tire rotation. Was in and out in just under an hour. The waiting area is very comfortable and EVERYONE at Fairground is very friendly and accommodating.

On a recent trip to see family in rolla my cars transmission blew but not only did they offer great service and a really fair price for it all they took the time to go over my options in full detail to get the best price. I normally dont go to dealerships because they normally rip you off but these guys do great work.On my way back to Florida I called the dealership down south to see how much it would of been. (Had a lot of time on my hands since it was a long drive) they told me it would cost me 1500 more than what I paid at fairgrounds.I am thankful my car broke down there than in South Florida, thanks guys.
Beware of the service department they are a bunch of scammers they charged me 500 dollars to find my issue but after 5 hours they came up saying that my transmission was bad so I took it home then I realized that they didnt put my truck back together right and was missing parts now Im stuck buying new parts to replace the ones that were lost and I found the issue it took me five minutes to find it and fix it. If you want to get ripped off and your car missing parts when they give it back to you come here. I know I will not be coming back to this scum of a place

I purchased my first new car here. They were very helpful but I didnt get what I thought I was getting. I purchased a brand new chevy cruze but my color wasnt ready yet so I got a red one to drive for a couple days u til mine arrived. When mine arrived it didnt have all the features the red one had, electric seats, fog lites and a few other things, but I didnt realize mine didnt have all those features until after I came home and my mom noticed the difference. So I was charged full price for a car lacking features of the one I really wanted. Other then that they treated me good and gave me great percentage.
I have been coming here for close to ten years, first with my Buick and now with my Suburban, and I still get treated as a total stranger each and every time. Not only that, as a LOYAL customer you would think someone would check out something without always wanting a Diagnosis fee. Also, writing this will be a waste of time, because nothing is going to change, for real. So now I have to go another route to get my steering wheel checked out.
I was employed with Fairgrounds for two years. In that time, I met some of the most professional, and honest individuals I had ever had the pleasure of working with. The amount of knowledge I gained for such a team driven atmosphere was well worth the time and effort put forth in learning how a dealership operates. Jerry Gneimi was one of the most knowledgeable and upright honest people I have ever had the pleasure of learning from and working for, and pages from his book of customer service will stick with me for the rest of my life. Many of the mechanics were not only knowledgeable in their trade, but in themselves great teachers when It came to any questions that came their way. I wish the best to old crew, and thank you for life lessons on how to and not to treat others.
Not in a good mood due due to problems with my 15 years old truck, that required parts only they had. Went to service department to find friendly helpful polite personnel who were quick helpful and efficient. Took about 15 minutes and I had what I needed. So cudos to their team.

Bought my new silveraydo from Dalton Friend and from the start I was treated as a respected customer which in my experience of buying two new vehicles is not typical for a younger person walking in to test drive a 50k vehicle. I would buy another vehicle from Dalton in a heart beat. Overall amazing experience.

I drove a 60+ mile round trip because of an advertisement I recieved in mail. According to the ticket I won a 60 smart TV. When I got there I was told no it did not matter what the card said. I was given 2 gold dollars and a scratch off card. THAT IS FALSE ADVERTISING. I wont ever go back there.
I actually used Fairgrounds collision center. My vehicle was rear-ended on 10/31, and Fairgrounds got right to work as soon as my insurance company gave the go-ahead. Fairgrounds Collision went above and beyond, providing me frequent updates on the progress of my truck repairs. The finished product is INCREDIBLE! My 2016 Silverado was within $1,000 of being a total loss, so you can imagine the labor and parts that had to go into it, and it came out like a brand new truck. They are FANTASTIC!

Service was slow, the problem still exists, just not as bad . My Equinox still shakes when going down the highway. when our initial test drive we indicated that it shook, we were told that service would take care of the problem. Obviously not, were seriously disappointed with Fairgrounds Chevrolet
Fastest most friendly car buy experience weve had!
We regularly receive promotional materials in the mail from them. We usually wind up with the minimum prize of one dollar. This time though we left with a five dollar Walmart gift card. Not the 60 TV the peel off card said we had won, we overlooked the part about also having the matching confirmation number as well. Disappointed about not getting the TV but after responding to nearly a dozen or so of these promotional materials over the years it was nice to get more than just a dollar.

We went in to test drive an SUV and drove home with it within 2hrs of walking in the door. Personal were friendly and helpful beyond belief. Definitely will not buy anywhere else.
My experience was a good one. Had my 04 Buick in and out of independent garages and after changing a cam and a crank sensor and still not fixed then having to get towed, I did what I should have done to start and went back to GM. Come to find out it was the ignition control module which was not fun to pay for but if fixed the problem and has stayed fixed.
Poor customer service. Will not return calls. I have asked twice now for a call back and nothing. Will never go to again.
