The front desk guy didnt believe that our vehicle took conventional motor oil, despite my husband showing him the page in the vehicles manual saying that it took conventional (but could take synthetic). Also, what is the point of being able to make an appointment when there arent enough techs to complete the work in a timely fashion? It took nearly 5 hours for an oil change, air filter/break fluid change, and for new tires to be installed. I know the work doesnt take that long because a)they hadnt started working on the car 2 hours after the scheduled appointment (you could see it sitting in the bay), and b) Ive had similar work done on another vehicle at this Pepboys location (when it was better staffed), without an appointment, that was done in less time.If you can afford it, its likely worth your time to go to another garage in the area.
I just had my two cars serviced at Pep Boys. Their customer service was excellent, Anthony was a pleasure to work with and very knowledgable. I had a flat tire on one car and on the other car had a blinker replace, alignment done, windshield wipers put in and an oil change. Their service was complete and very timely, both taking my cars in right away and getting the work done. Thank you Anthony and Pep Boys, I will be back (but hopefully not too soon, lol)
The one desk clerk seemed to be doing his best, but all told it took me an hour and a half to get 2 tires put on rims with one person in front of me. Management needs to understand that staffing with 2 employees total is insufficient
Continuously delayed for two days on a simple fluids change on my Thunderbird. After two days of waiting I called and they said all they needed to finish it was a coolant overflow hose so I showed up and they had barely started working on the car

The worst customer service Ive ever received. Apparently the parts and service center are under two separate umbrellas. The gentleman in the parts department was very helpful and very apologetic. However, the service counter was another story. I waited for over an hour to be waited on while the service counter employee talked on the phone. When he returned he told me he had been speaking with his boss. I can not believe that story because no boss would allow a customer to wait 60 minutes to be waited on. When Ban returned he still took his time giving me the information I asked for. Finally he tells me he only has one tire in the size I needed and at an astronomical price. I ended up purchasing my tire elsewhere. My understanding is that Ban had had multiple complaints that day and on other occasions. I do not recommend Pep Boys based on this employees actions. I would only consider returning if I had need in the parts department. My rating is ZERO.
Has my oil changed there and when it was time for the next scheduled appointment. I called 3 or 4 times and was placed on hold for at least 15 minutes. Decided to go elsewhere and was informed that the last that my oil pan had been stripped out and a time cert has been installed. Have to replace oil pan now. I did see the insert. Never!! Will go there again.

Three times Ive been to this location, and always there is a pungent BOYS CLUB vibe to this location. I hate this place. The first time I went they didnt have the product I needed and were not customer service friendly about it. The second time I went waited forever for the clerk to come to the register, and then he let this other customer, who was male, skip me in line, and when I spoke up for myself I was ignored. The third time I went they charged an exorbitant amount for tools so old the plastic on the packaging had yellowed. Dont support this glass ceiling business, go to OReillys Auto parts. They are friendly and do their best to get you what you need a fair price; adults, not boys.
Not sure the point of making an apt to take time from my schedule to show up early, and be told well they can look but to busy today would require making an apt for a different day. Total waste of time will just go to one of their competitors.
Great prices on tires and service. Buy three get knew free makes a tire change much easier on the wallet. Recently got new tires for my 2018 Ram 1500 with 275 60 20s, Cooper adventurer HT for $650, you cannot beat that anywhere

When we came back the front desk guy confirmed they would have the parts the following week. We came back next week and they still hadn’t ordered the parts. Came to the decision that we wasted our time here and decided to go somewhere else to get our car fixed. Worst place ever and won’t be coming back or recommending to anyone.

An hour and half wait time for a basic oil change. I had an appointment at 4pm yet for some reason my car is not a priority. It’s pouring rain outside and the AC is blasting. Would have paid the same amount to go to a drive through oil change place and it would have been half the time and a lot warmer.

I made an appointment online and showed up early just to be rudely told that I did not have an appointment. Yet I had a confirmation number. Definitely not a good place. Set up an appointment for 2 tires to be change for 4pm. Waited at least 2 hours for my car to even get up on the machine and another 1 or 2 for the tire change to be done. 4 hours even with a appointment is pretty Ridiculous timing for tire changes. And when you try to call them they will not answer the phone for at least 20 minutes. I went in the shop and they were right by the phone. Poor service. Giving a two star even though all of this the people are nice

Im from Utah and we were here in the area for a wedding. Unfortunately on our way back a tire got blown and was also unable to be repaired. The customer service there was phenomenal and everything that was discussed was right on point. All of our options were presented and was executed well.

Never go here for a car service. Dropped my car off for an oil change at 1030. Never got a call to pick it up. Finally come back at 6 assuming it must be done. The service people went home for the day and the people at the store wouldn’t give me my car back because they didn’t know if anything had been done on it and apparently can’t look it up. Now my car is sitting overnight in a parking lot and I’ll be without a car for a full 24 hours just for a 30 minute oil change. Unless you want to never see your car again, or you want it to get broken into while it sits overnight in a shady parking lot, do not go here.
I am a second generation automotive/diesel repair shop owner. Through the years we have had many changes as we source out for parts and supplies. The commercial account staff has proven themselves as very accurate and professional. The Rohnert Park store manager and the commercial accounts manager have always greeted me with a positive attitude and a general concern for getting me the most updated parts. Due to there attention to detail, I now use Pepboys for 85-90% of my business. Keep up the good work people...
I would give no stars but have to give one to leave review. I made an appt for 4 tires install nothing else, showed up an hour before my appointment. I was watching them though the window it took them over 3 hours to mount and balance 4 tires which is just insane.
I was looking for a place in that installs customer-supplied parts and this was one of the only places in the county that actually helped me out. Everyone I talked to was really nice and they worked fast! Did great work too. Id definitely come back.
I have been a regular customer for years now. They are always happy to help. If you just need an oil change, they are some of the best on a cost/time basis. I have had multiple repairs made and never had any issues, and I buy my tires from them with the same result. Would recommend.

Been to this pepboys twice for an oil change. Both times with an appointment. Second time this has happened so Im writing a review. After dropping my car off it takes them over an hour to even get started on the oil change. I came back an hour and 20 minutes after dropping off my car and asked how much longer and they said they hadnt even started. Seriously? 2 times now with 2 appointments and an oil change comes out to being over 2 hours both times? Dont waste your time here. Never coming back. Id rather pay more with no coupons then wait over 2 hours for something that can take 20 minutes
I always come to pep boys for any repair work,questions, products, or concerns. Every visit ive had, has been fantastic!! The employees are always very polite, knowledgeable, and sincere! The entire staff is great however, I personally cannot enthuse enough about George and if you need anything done I would highly recommend him!!!! They always make me feel better and safer about my car. For a person with limited knowledge on cars, they always make me feel comfortable. They break down everything they are doing and explain why they are doing it, and are very patient with the many questions I ask. I will continue to go to pep boys every time because of the great customer service and care.
I work at Sonoma county auto care we started using Pep Boys about 2 to 3 months ago the commercial manager Jessica is the most pleasant person to talk to, her knowledge is impeccable if she can’t find it in her system she will exhaust all of her options before she gives up, but she tends to lie sometimes she says the parts will take 2 to 3 days but I get them the next day but hey who’s complaining I get what I need. I will continue to do business with Jessica and the Pep Boys People I would recommend Pep Boys Team for your parts and their fast delivery service.......
Was finally able to get ahold of someone. Got my brakes done. Completely satisfied. I would love to use pepboys for a brake replacement but no one ever answers there phone... if you are looking for a job they are hiring

Came in to get a Spill Proof funnel to bleed the air out of my cooling system. Not an easy item to find at most chain auto parts stores. This was the only store that actually stocked this item. Better yet, when I told the store clerk that I had found the same item online for a lower price, she matched that price. I have always had good experiences at Pep Boys and will continue to shop here.
I like their service. If it looks like you are unsure where to get your item, they will ask you if you need help. And I have only been able not to get a replacement part for my used Toyota van one time. It was special LED instrument pa el lights. Good service for 15 years.

2 hours for an oil change... made an apportionment days in advance show up 30 minutes early.. they didn’t bring my car back until 45 minutes after my appt time.. I’ve watched the technician thru the window and all he’s doing is walking around and smoking.. Poooor customer service & poor quality work. I will not be coming back again. The front desk was amazing and nice as always but I wouldn’t recommend gettin an oil change here unless you have a whole day dedicated to it.
Was in town for 2 weeks and went in multiples times. Each time the employees were courteous and helpful.Problem:Only downside was when I had my new tire installed they had taken my chrome tire valve cap and never put it on the new tire and now I have 3 chrome valve caps and 1 black plastic cap and it looks ridiculous. Wish they would send me replacement.

The people that work at this place are not helpful 2 times Ive drove up from over 40 miles away after them telling me they had something and they didnt have it. Secondly theyre not the most knowledgeable people when it comes to parts that fit your car I asked for a shackle kit for my Camaro they told me all they had was aftermarket and to come take a look the shackles were for trucks waste of my time. The younger guys are the worst look on the computer only dont even bother to check their own shelves
I brought it in, they ran a diagnostic, told me it was the fuel pump and the replacement for that cost $1000. I get the car back, two days later its not starting once again. This time they say its the ignition system. $270. Check engine light is on when I get it back. They say to bring it back to quickly hook it up to the computer and fix that. Four days later here I am, they said it would be ready yesterday. Then this morning they said it would be ready at 1030. Its now noon. Ive repeatedly been jerked around regarding ready times and quotes. Severe lack of communication going on here. They say 5-10 minutes and Ive been sitting in their waiting area for an hour.
It had been a while since I went in to Pep Boys for anything. This day I went in for wheel covers and headlamps. There was almost no selection of either. My car has 16 rims. There were literally two options for me and I liked neither one. The headlamps were worse. There was only one set there for my model car which is a pretty common car. Needless to say, Autozone got my business as they had both items I was looking for. I will give kudos to the staff as they were very friendly and knowledgeable, they just didnt have what I needed and what i felt were common parts.
Quick service
Came in and spent a lot of money to get 4 new tires. Was told I did not need alignment due to my cars new condition. After leaving, my car began to drive poorly. Ride was really bumpy and car began pulling to the right. Ended up having to bring the car back in. Tires were not properly balanced and alignment was off. Ended up having to pay them another $90 to have the alignment fixed. Appointment was at 5 and didnt end up leaving until 7. After I left, can was pulling even more to the right. Car is now worse than when I brought it in. Now I have to fight with them to get my money back so I can take my car somewhere that will actually do a proper alignment. Extremely displeased. Would not recommend.
Prices are good, and the workers are competent -- Jessica was especially helpful. Overall, would definitely recommend over a small shop. My only issue is that getting their deals can be a bit confusing, but that appears to be a feature of their website and fine print, not the store itself.
Service was easy and quick. I needed 2 new tires for my trip to EDC and needed them quick. I called Pep Boys to see if they could install them within an hour and they did. I initially went there for 2 but ended up getting all 4.

Quite a wait for a person to answer a question about what i needed. But a decent selection of fairly good products to pick from.Not the cheapest prices around but they did have alot of sale priced items that were tempting.I found and bought what i needed and also bought an item that was to well sale priced to pass up even tho I didnt really need it.So they are worth a look. Car Service and repair available is also nice because most other auto parts stores dont have that to offer.
We had two separate appointments set for an oil change the first time they said sorry they couldnt do it that day. Fine, we rescheduled then yesterday we went back and they told us even with the appointment they couldnt do our car until two hours after our appointment. So we left.

Went to have flat tire patch. Came back to pickup tire. They had the tire off the rim. And told me that they could not repair, suggested I buy a new tire. The tire I had was a pretty new tire, and made them put the tire on the rim, and took it to the tire store where they patched tire
I went in for some new tiers for my Camaro. I was greeted by a very friendly guy and he told me he had a pair of parllies for out the door clearance sale with 20% off made it around 400. After hanging around the parking lot I noticed a lady and a guy smoking a cigarette looking at me no big deal I thought. When my car was done I went to pay for it. She came one said 479. I said that is not what I was told! With a attitude she said she was the service manager and he did not have the right to give me that price! They argued. I still had to pay 430 after I was told 400! That lady was very unprofessional in her canter to me! Very rude! I recommend! Don’t trust them!
I was at Pepboys on Sunday with a blown tire. I had an 11am appointment. They were super busy that appointments werent necessarily guaranteed. However, the tow dropped us off at 10:30a and we were told an hour. I got a call at 11:15a letting me know my car was ready. Everyone, especially Jose was extremely helpful and professional.
Took my sons car for service that includes tires rotation and battery testing none of them were performed by the technician, he was texting on his personal phone and rushing performing the oil change that made a big mess with the oil. When asking the person in the front office about the tire rotation they told me that the car didnt need it this never happened to me any where else. This will be the first and final time taking any of my cars for service there they take your money is a shame for a nation wide company like Pepboys.

I received a letter in the mail that my tires may have been recalled and I needed to get them looked at. The letter came with a coupon for a free oil change for the inconvenience. Fortunately my tires were not the recalled ones but the store says they will not honor the coupon since I didn’t have the recalled tires. It is not written in the letter or the coupon, they just decided not to honor it.
I take all my vehicles here for oil change and other repair service. They have a decent waiting area with WiFi, coffee, and TV. They have a good selection of auto accessories available for a quick shopping visit. This shop is in a strip mall, so theres other stores close by.
They try. Thats the good.Brought in a broken fan belt to get a new one. I assumed that they would get the right one based on the numbers on the broken belt. DO NOT ASSUME. Got home and it was not close.
It was 4 p.m. on a Saturday and I had an emergency need for 4 new tires for unexpected trip the next day. I called many tire shops, but it was too late in the day. When I called PEP BOYS the woman on the phone explained that they didnt do same day service. I explained that it was kind of an emergency due to my poor planning, so she checked to see if there was any way they could do it. She came back on the phone, and said to come on in. AWESOME!They were busy but they replaced all four tires on my car in about an hour.Unfortunately for PEP BOYS. It was Melissas last day as she was moving on to bigger things in life. I got really bad news the day I was here so everything is colored badly for that day. I really think the guys were doing their best but were just very very busy.
PepBoys is easily the most solid auto parts store in Rohnert Park, with a pretty decent shop to boot. Especially after the recent remodel, they have plenty of high quality repair parts for DIY/at-home mechanics, and reasonably priced repair services through the shop with decently skilled technicians.

If you go to Pep Boys and Tracy is working, I highly suggest going literally anywhere else. From the second I walked in, I received nothing but attitude from her. My boyfriends jeep wouldnt start the other day when we were leaving walmart, so after a while I walked over to Pep Boys to see if there was any way they could have one of their tow trucks come jump us. She told me no because we werent parked where she could see us. Then I asked if they had a specific battery charger in stock and she rolled her eyes and went to grab it, acting like I somehow offended her by asking her to do her job. When she came back with it, she slammed it down on the counter and walked away without saying a word, so I had to wait until the other employee was done helping a customer. Thats fine, I have no problem waiting. However, I do have a problem being treated so poorly by a manager. I dont care if she was having a bad day or whatever the reason may be, because my day surely wasnt going very well but I still managed to be polite and respectful. Im glad she made Farrell, the other employee, help me. She was incredibly nice and seemed like she genuinely cared about me and my situation. So I bought the battery charger, walked the 2 minutes it took to walk back to my boyfriend and the jeep, and told him about her horrible customer service (or lack thereof). We walked back to Pep Boys together, and he could immediately see what I was talking about. She was so rude to him that he walked, saying he refused to talk to her and be disrespected any longer. On top of all that, I witnessed her completely insult a different employee right in front of customers, and I heard her lying on the phone saying she was the only person there and she had absolutely no help. I will never do business with this store again, unless Tracy is no longer working there, and Farrell becomes manager. I give Tracy 0 out of 5 stars, and I give Farrell 5 out of 5 stars. Good luck if you decide to shop here!

Worst place to go. Had a scheduled appointment and when I went in they told me my scheduled and confirmed appointment didnt matter and my car wouldnt even be looked at for 4 days because they were busy with other people first.
What a waste of time I will never come here again. I ordered a part online for pickup got a email ready for pickup get there they spent 20 mins looking for the part. Ready for pickup usually means they check and/or grab the part from the shelf. While I was there 3 people waiting for the register walked out because the lack of staffing. I wish I could say that this is the only time it happened but Im never coming back to this store.
Hour and a half for a an oil change with a single vehicle ahead of me in the queue. When I made the appointment the day before I stood waiting for the associate for about 15 minutes while another employee was busy on the phone with a customer. Friendly people but the service in my experience was very slow. The waiting area was also friggen loaded with flies man. Flies everywhere.
