If I could give this guide service less then 1star, I would. He took advantage of 3 teens, 2 were minors, by providing a poor guide service, telling highly inappropriate personal stories, talking constantly about his marijuana dispensaries in Oklahoma, and asking them if they had brought any weed down from CO. He made the trip entirely uncomfortable and awkward. They caught 0 fish, and moved to only two locations in a full day’s trip. I would not recommend this guide service.

We went out at 6 am to a little island and trolled around with no luck. Ran past the boat dock to look at another area never casted there then went back to the same area and guess what, no luck the second time either. After that the captain gave up on fishing, took us back to the dock and said some days are just bad. If you’re looking for a charter enthusiast about fishing and really hunting the fish. This isn’t the charter for you. This guy owns a boat and gets you on fish if it’s easy. Best of luck to all who read this and are going for a fun fishing adventure.

Had a blast. cant wait to go again. Johnny was very good at showing my kids how to do the baiting and everything. will be booking again soon.

It was a slow day because of the weather and temperature, but Johnny was very informative about striper fishing and history of the area...he tried his best...but that’s why they call it fishing and not catching...told me the start of the season is around first of March...will set a charter again with him

If there was a way to give zero stars that is what I would give. The boat in the pictures wasn’t what picked us up. It was an old blue boat with a motor that’s alarm would go off when you went fast. We didn’t catch any stripers and the bait had the tails cut off. Don’t waste your money! Huge disappointed!

If you need a history lesson, this is the guide for you. We went out at 5:30 am and had bait in for an hour, then never again until 10 am. Caught ONE striper out of 4 people. I would rather drive myself off a cliff than ever see or hear him again

Johnny from big ones was great, very knowledgable and taught us a lot about catching stripers. The weather broke bad on us but not before my son caught a real nice one.

Big Ones saved the day. Due to a emergency he took and got my afternoon trip on some fish after doing a trip himselif. Was great with the boys. All happy except the oldest is a little disapointed that Mamas 32 pounder is going on the wall and his 2 along with his brothers are feeding the family.

Never again. I will just bank fish.
