I work at the Raleigh Office of Lamberts Cable Splicing. Its not really a business that services the general public. We handle fiber optic cable placement for Verizon and CenturyLink. I manage the warehouse and materials yard.
I cant speak for Lamberts reputation or ability to do work in the cable industry, what I can say is that they dont stand behind their negligence or the negligence of their subcontractors. My vehicle was damaged by flying rocks from a uncovered trailer carrying loose gravel being towed by a vehicle(sub contractor for Lambert) with Lambert Stickers on the sides/back on I-264 in Virginia Beach on Tuesday March 10, 2020.When I called Lambert HQ to let them know and inquire about reimbursement for windshield deductible their response was were not responsible, you should have more common sense when driving behind construction vehicles. My call to the President of the company, Mr Bobby Rogister, went unreturned. While I understand there are hazards on the road each and every day, Id expect a company, when presented with photographic proof, to at least acknowledge the issue and look to put corrective actions in place so it doesnt happen again and whether they as a company take financial responsibility or acknowledge fault isnt the issue here. Do the right thing, Lambert. Your actions and reactions were shameful and irresponsible.
