Sandra does well when accommodating for time and financial issues. I am a college student who does not have insurance. Sandra worked with me on the pricing and helped with my paperwork for college accommodations. She has done well in finding information to inform me about the problems I am suffering with. Some people need assistance in different ways, so if homework and reading is not for you then I would recommend someplace else. Sandra seems to work by the book. She uses her resources well and makes sure to share that with her clients. It is a big learning experience for me so I appreciate the research she puts into my diagnosis.

My daughter lost her best friends in a tragic accident. We tried to find a good therapist for her for so long, and had trouble finding one that was patient and accepted our insurance. After several tries, we found Sandra, and couldnt be happier with our daughters progress this far. Thank you!

I would like to say that I really appreciated Ms shields for taking me in as a client due to having traumatic brain 🧠 injury and multiple issues and the other huge hurdle was she took my insurance. She is meticulous, her office has proper covid protocol, she was very detailed with my intake paperwork and let me know that my next session will be goal oriented. She let me have constructive criticism on how to improve my own music therapy practice. I dont understand why there are such negative reviews on here. Lets spread some positivity on here.

Sandra has already been such a blessing for my teenage daughter and myself. She was also able to work with our schedules etc I highly recommend therapy with Sandra.

Sandra has always been there for me even when I needed her sooner than my next appointment. Shes a great therapist and Id highly recommend her .

I dont think this place is suitable for any child in need. Please go to a different area if your interested in this place. I took my child here and she didn’t like it. My daughter is young and needed some guidance but all she got was more hatred towards herself (Bless her heart 😢❤️) I’m a single momma as well and having to pay a lot of money for less than 4 star reviewed therapy center doesn’t seem reasonable to me. I work from home and I’m my daughter’s school’s PTA leader, that means I also can’t be taking my daughter to all the appointments while paying more than $40 a visit. We have truly been blessed by the services that Mrs Sheilds has provided. Mrs Sheilds is clearly passionate about her job and our family has much appreciation for her. We will continue to see Mrs Sheilds for the foreseeable future.

I wouldn’t recommend this place if you want help. if your looking at this place for your child, pick another one. the rating is already less than 3 so idk why you would send a child here. speaking of the ratings, this place is very low rated but very high priced, which doesn’t make sense. also, talking to the lady here is in the equivalence of talking to a elementary school counselor. they’ll listen, but don’t really care or try to help. oh, and you think she won’t tell parents what the kid says? she will. long story short, just don’t go here, you’ll waist your time and money

She asks like a child. She told my friend to, go on a diet because your fat very unprofessional and I do not recommend her!

Went to this lady for a few months for issues I was dealing with and she was pretty unprofessional the whole time I saw her. I find it hard to believe that she has the amount of education she has and it’s unfortunate she chose a career to help people when she does the total opposite. Her steps to “diagnosing” is from a book you can buy off amazon and reads it word for word out of the book and does not explain further. She made me wait one time when it was supposed to be my time to see her and addressed someone else. She would not be available many of the times I was supposed to see her so I would have to wait even longer and once she called to reschedule an appointment and she calls me on the day that was supposed to be my appointment and asks me why I’m not there. I had to remind her that she told me I could not come during that time. She also is the WORST at keeping track of people’s payments. She would try to make me repay my visit when she would write her own receipts and have a copy for herself. It was cash only and she wouldn’t let you leave until you paid her! Smh! I don’t know how anybody can see any kind of results with her. I can see why she has another one star review. If you’re considering her, don’t waste your time. Find someone who knows what they are doing and will care about helping you!

This lady isn’t gonna help you. She lies and lies and judges you. This lady isn’t for you. Not a good recommendation.

I had very high hopes but no matter how many times I expressed my concerns they were not looked into. In fact quite the opposite happened. I finally had to make the decision to pull child from treatment or lack thereof.
