I appreciate how quickly Kwik Kar got me in and out, and that they didn’t try to upsell me on things my car didn’t really need. I used to go to Horizon Auto Center but oil changes there take too long and they try to sell you things you didn’t go there for.

Treated very poorly when going there for service... Inspection service. Will not go there again. The guy who helped me was Rude... Walked away when I was trying to talk to him. Been going there for the past three years. Will not be back... New management must be there now. If So they need to find another staff...

I took my car into Kwik Kar lube and repair for an inspection. I’ve done this a million times at various places but was quickly impressed with the level of professionalism and the efficiency at which they were dealing with me and other customers. After inspecting my car, Kim the service manager gave me spot on advice on getting my registration done with the tax offices being mostly shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I was so impressed that I later took a second car there for inspection at which time Kim and her mechanics quickly diagnosed a bearing issue that had been misdiagnosed by several other shops.The level of customer service along with a highly talented staff make this Kwik Kar Lube and repair my choice for not only inspections and oil changes, but repair work as well.I hardly ever give reviews on anything, but I was so impressed I had to figure out a way to show my appreciation. 5 stars all the way!!

Went in to have a state inspection and had the best inspection experience Ive ever had.It was extremely fast and cheap, but most of all, the customer service was fantastic.Robert was the man that helped me and he made everyone feel valued and was very personable. I would highly recommend!

I have had the following experience at this shop- Oil Leaked from drain plug 2 changes ago. I took it back in and instead of replacing the plug that appeared to be stripped the technician said he “Flipped the gasket” and its not leaking any more. However, after the most recent oil change it was leaking again.- During the most recent oil change the Manager removed one of our spark plugs and took it into the lobby to show my wife how “worn down” it was and how we really needed a tune up/replacement. However, I replaced these plugs personally less than a year ago. That very night I pulled the plugs and examined them and they were still in brand new shape. The plugs were in no need or replacement. See Picture.- After the last oil change when our plug was leaking again I was given a hard time about getting them to replace it. The manager insisted that oil plugs are parts that just “wear out” over time. However, no reputable mechanic (Professional and amateur) that I have talked with has agreed with this statement. Plug failures are due to cross threading and over tightening.- The shop did attempt to install a replacement plug. I was told that they put in a piggyback plug and that they also sealed it with a silicone sealant so it would not leak any more. However, one day later it was leaking again.- I called the shop to let them know their fix didn’t work. The manager told me that at this point the only thing they could do was to replace the oil pan, that there was “no way” they could put another plug into it. I asked that since this is the only place we have had our oil changes for years if that was something they were going to take care of for us since it appears the damage was caused by them. The manager again insisted that oil plugs and pans getting stripped was normal wear and tear. She did offer to only charge me wholesale for the oil pan (she said $395) and would “just eat” the $40-$50 gasket price and that it would cost in total “only” $595. However, I found that the part was available at retail price at O’Reillys for $255 or on RockAuto for $185. Also, there is no $40-50 gasket, its just a silicone seal.- Because the information I was able to find online and from other mechanics was so at odds with the manager’s statements I had a mobile mechanic come and look at our car to check the oil pan and the drain plug. He found that when this shop put the piggyback plug in they did not use a gasket at all and that the silicone sealant they used was destined to fail because the silicone can’t adhere to oil. He said there was no way that fix would have worked long term the way it was installed. Additionally, he easily installed another oversized drain plug on the pan with no issues. It is not leaking anymore. Having a mobile mechanic come out and work on my car and replace the plug correctly cost me $120.We will not take any of our vehicles to this shop again because of these experiences. From our experience it appears that this shop attempted to sell us services we very clearly didn’t need (they even tried to pass off a near new part as worn out), they gave us a hard time about fixing the damage it appears they caused, they again tried to sell me a service I didn’t need (oil pan), and our discussions on pricing feel dishonest.I will be actively discouraging any of my friends/family and anyone who reads this review to take or continue to take your vehicle here. If you do I strongly recommend you not take their word on needed repairs without first getting a second opinion. If we had blindly listened to them we would have spent $160 replacing our already brand new spark plugs and $600 replacing an oil pan that only needed a correctly installed oversize drain plug.Finally, I attempted several different ways to find and get ahold of the actual owner of their franchise but if you try to call them and ask about the owner they hang up on you.

Got my new RAV 4 inspected per Texas regulation to get it registered, all around good dudes, very friendly and in and out in less than 5 minutes. I had to return because of an error on the paperwork but they were real good about it.

We were out yesterday enjoying a nearby park when my low oil level indicator came on my Porsche Boxster. I had the car just serviced at another shop just a couple of days previously. I drove into Kwik Kar and was immediately met by Christian. I checked my car for a potential leak. No leak. Where I took my car previously, they didnt put enough oil when they did the oil change. Christian added 2 quarts of oil. He was a true professional. The manager of the store was great as well. I was back on the road in a few minutes to enjoy the rest of our day. On top of that the Manager didnt charge me for the 2 quarts! You dont see that level of service these days. I want to thank the team at Kwik Kar of Rockwall. Awesome Experience!

Always friendly and quick service

My girlfriend uses this place all the time. I went for the first time here recently. I got to talking to the lady there, come to find out she is the manager. Very professional and knowledgeable. She was hands on and helping with everything. The day we were there, even the owner was there, and he was working too. It was a pleasant change seeing the people that run the place, working and helping out. This is a very well ran establishment.

They got me in as soon as I arrived. I got an oil change and a state inspection. Two things I dread doing. They made it so simple and quick! The waiting room was spotless. The staff was kind and professional. Robert even went above and even helped me with a minor dent at no charge!

I would not recommend these guys to do any work on your vehicle, and a little advice you need to make sure you read the back of the receipt stating they will not cover their mistakes. They replaced my oil in my new 2020 Chevy 2500 and they left the oil filter loose and all the oil leaked out and almost burned up the motor on a brand new truck. I had to get the truck towed and worked on and they refused to pay for the repairs and they stated they did not care about losing our small businesses account because we are not large enough to matter so that is something to think about before you take your vehicle to a company like this.

I have used this place for years. I was a little reluctant when it sold and the new owners took over, but I am now happy to say that I will forever be a customer. The new manage, Kim, knows how to talk to everyone, and makes everyone feel like family. She is extremely knowledgeable about vehicles and you n tell it just by watching her talk to others and the way she talks to you.KEEP HER!!!!!

I went to Kwik Kar in Rockwall when NTB Rockwall said they couldn’t fix my oil leak. I was pleasantly surprised with the amazing service by Kim. She had my car looked at then agreed to the job. This in itself was amazing because I certainly didn’t feel like driving to Audi in Dallas. Kim communicated the progress with my via text every step of the way so I was never left to wonder. She also recommended some preventative service which I knew was probably overdue but wasn’t yet aware of all the services they offered (tune ups, spark plugs, belts etc.) The prices were very fair. My 2013 vehicle now runs better than it has in a long time. Kudos also to Richard. He made my lobby time seem very short. Good, friendly man. #customerforlife #keepingbusinessinrockwall

My car had ac problems all summer long and took many trips to Firestone. I finally got fed up and took it to kwik kar and they fixed it the first time. They were good to take care of some other complications I had with Firestone.The managment and staff are very friendly and I feel they take care of me and that I can trust them which Id a big deal for a girl dealing with the auto industry.
