The roofing crew did a great job! They came on time as scheduled and finished work the same day. The only thing I wish the crew had given a little more attention was the cleanup after the work was completed. There were lot of staples lying on my deck (which I handed over) and old shingles in my yard even after they had removed the debris. The sales consultant was polite and friendly; agreed to all the things I had requested, like price, change of materials, scheduling the work to begin within 2 weeks of signing the contract and removing unused dish antennas. Overall a nice job!

We first used them to replace our roof in 2016. After we had a large tree that over hung the roof was taken down in January, we had them back to do an inspection. The results were the tree removal people had damaged our roof significantly. They were easy to work with quick to book the repairs. Their staff were professional and helpful providing detailed information to submit to the tree removal company.

We were overall dissatisfied with the professionalism of our service. After having the roof of our townhome surveyed in June, we were not scheduled for repair until September. I understand that companies are busy due to people working from home and repairing their houses, but I had to follow up with them to get an appointment. The crew that performed the work did not complete all requested work and damaged some of our property. The crew did not notify us, we figured it out on our own. When I notified the sales associate who surveyed our home, I was told our roof was old and it was a tight space to work. We know it’s old... that’s why we wanted it repaired. And the work area was sent back in June. He did offer credits for damaged property and said he’d schedule the rest of the repair. After not hearing from him in over a month, I began calling and emailing the office to get an update. I felt that because of their lack of responsiveness, the completed project took too long when it was finally completed in December. But we now have a new roof.

We have an upstairs deck outside of the master bedroom and it started to leak down to the screened in porch below. Central Exteriors replaced this old roof with a new roof. A heavy rain on Sept. 9th provided a good test. No leaks anymore. We are quite pleased with Central from their analysis of the type of flat roof needed to the installation process, the sealing of the new roof and clean up. The roofing materials appear to be of high quality but we lack the expertise to evaluate this. The bottom line, Central Exteriors provides excellence in roofing.

During these difficult (Covid-19) times, Central Exteriors showed a great combination and fine sense of safety,efficiency and execution in all aspects of their work. Their estimator Chris Poticny, was prompt to come and gave a reasonable estimate, was up-front on the time of installation. Their installation team came on time and worked hard and neatly for two days to put on a fantastic roof, with everything we had requested. Two days later an inspector came from their office to check on their teams work and made sure it was to their specs and our satisfaction. They gave an excellent warranty that is transferable. Fantastic experience. -- We had to redo all of the trim on our house. It was a huge job and one that we just couldnt do ourselves. We searched for different local companies that worked with Hardi Board and found Central Exteriors. Right from the initial meeting the entire team was amazing. UPDATE: Just want to make sure this is addressed lest the misleading response from Chris be taken at face value.I called the office September 1st. On September 4th I received a follow up for a Wednesday September 9th 9am appointment. Chris contacted me an hour before (on the 9th) to reschedule since he had home obligations. Today it was raining during the scheduled meet time. When Chris asked me to reschedule the original Wednesday appointment because of his personal issue, he offered Thursday and Friday. So when he cancelled the Thursday for rain, I was told the Friday time slot was no longer available.If it was a reschedule for rain I would work with them. I see they had time today to respond to this review and a yelp review instead of coming to do an estimate (Rain has stopped.)When I asked how long it would take to get things going 2 weeks after the initial reach out, they said if they came and did the estimate, if the materials were available and if the contract was signed, it would be 3-4 weeks before they could get started.When making a choice on contractor work, just look around, plenty of people are attentive to prospective clients.I called the office on September 1st to get a consult on a siding project. 3 days later i got a call from the office to schedule a consult. I got on the schedule for September 9th for a morning consult. This had to be rescheduled. On today September 10th there is rain so again it was needed to be rescheduled. Now theyre telling me Monday at the earliest just to see what Im looking to do and what options I have. This is thousands of dollars of potential business and it takes 2 weeks to even meet about the job itself?Maybe the work they do is good, but this is ridiculous, and maybe there are people who want business with a regard for customers.

Extremely professional and easy to deal with. Weve never had a leak problem since, despite exceptionally active storms. The cost was more than fair.

During the severe storms we had in September, I had leaks at some of my vents through the roof. Central Exteriors came out in a very timely fashion, inspected the roof and re-booted the vents. Price included inspecting the whole surface not covered by solar panels.

This is by far the best roofing company I have ever come across in my 32 years as a practicing physician in Maryland and Northern VA. They are honest, and delivered whatever they promised, and at times even beyond that. Their manager, Matt Kline, was most helpful, polite, and meticulous in the performance of the work. We had a leak in a skylight and called Central Exteriors, who had installed several skylights and a new roof years ago, and had been out last year fixing other leaks we’ve had. They came to the house the next day after we called, discovered the problem, and fixed it. Very competent, professional and responsive.

After researching many companies, in December 2017 I had Central Roofing, Siding and Windows Co. install a new roof, gutters and downspouts, leaf guards, and shutters on my house. They also replaced 4 existing skylights. After almost one year, I am still extremely satisfied with all of the work performed. Since most shingles are relatively similar, I found that Central distinguishes itself from other companies by providing superior workmanship, price, and customer service. I liked the fact that Central is a third generation, family-owned, local business. I worked directly with the owner, Terry Greenburg. I appreciated his low pressure, direct, and honest approach to all aspects of the project. He fully explained the options and costs available for each project area, and was responsive to all of my many questions. He even provided the addresses of several homes in my neighborhood where Central has installed new roofs. I do not hesitate to recommend Central Roofing and Siding to others. In fact, my neighbor across the street is having Central install his new roof this week!

This is my third project with Central Roofing. 5 years ago (2013), they installed new over sized gutters and leaf guards to resolve a drainage problem. Then I had them wrap all my trim (2018) so I dont have to repaint every 6 years, and now they replaced my roof (2018). All 3 jobs were done well, materials were 1st rate, crews were professional, and I feel the price was very competitive. They set realistic expectations, started on time and finished when they said they would (considering a rain delay).

Sales pitch was actually from the roofer, not a salesperson. They gave 3 pricing options and adapted those as per my needs. They gave me the addresses of two roofs done in my neighborhood. They came when they said they would, completed the roof in one day and came back a week later to finish dormer windows and add gutters. The leaks have stopped! I got 6 different quotes so have a pretty good sense of my options and by far, from start to finish, Central Exteriors were the stand out best.

Ian was great to work with and he was very responsive. He was available to quickly provide estimates for my front gutter and downspout damaged by high winds. He patiently answered my questions and I got an honest read of him. The work was completed very timely and over the weekend. The company wasnt pushy and that was greatly appreciated. The work looks good. I ended up replacing the front and back gutters and spouts.

Please understand my roof and gutters look wonderful but I have two small problems, one was there was no one to communicate with once the men were dropped off. The one who spoke English disappeared and the others only spoke Spanish. Second I had to point to my outside electric sockets for them to put back in turn they didnt know what to do so one person twisted them around and tryed stuffing them in the socket. Im still not sure if they are in correct. Again my roof and gutters look wonderful and it was a pleasure working with Eric. I would surely recommend Central Roofing to my family and friends as it was recommended to me.

Central installed a new roof on my house in 1980 and it lasted until this year with no leaks or other problems. What a nightmare, If only I knew what I was getting myself into, I would’ve went with more expensive ones.I DO NOT RECOMMEND, and a warningIt’s nice that others were happy with product but for me this has caused issue that will cost me even more, I went with cheapest quote and boy oh boy I regrate it so much I would love for them to give me my money back come and rip these windows out and I’ll get new ones. Literally the design it’s the most unbelievable, and one of my large windows letting my walls soak I have no clue how is this happening.Contractor was awesome, the people that came to do the work I thought worked very hard so I’m literally blame it all on the material, only 5 year warranty I want ones already!And I like how manager responds but there is noway to respond back to him, noway to reach him, ahaha

Chris at Central was very responsive to all of my questions and requests for my re-siding and PVC trim job. Other contractors were unwilling to carve PVC trim into arches. The price was lower than most and gave me the look I wanted. The work was done in a timely manner; each team was very professional and cleaned up after each part of the job. I had the siding team come back for a minor adjustment and they did it with no questions asked.

Central Exteriors has such a mundane name, but the service they gave me is hardly ordinary. I had a whole house capping of wood trim with vinyl and they did a great job. The price was reasonable, the service from both the salesman and the crew foreman was great, and they allowed me to hold back a portion of the payment until some minor problem areas were fixed. After examining our roof, Jon Harteis explained to us --thoroughly and logically -- how Central works and its commitment to customer satisfaction. The installation team was professional and very clean. They ensured all the nails and old shingles were removed from my property. There were no surprises when the final invoice arrived and the information about the warranty of the shingles and the labor are included with the paper work.
